Iran nuclear talks: supreme
leader Khamenei urges more missiles

Iran´s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Sunday that Western expectations for the Islamic Republic to limit its missile program were "stupid and idiotic". The Supreme Leader also called on the country´s Revolutionary Guards to mass-produce missiles. The United States and its allies have said they are worried about Iran´s missile program as they fear the weapons could carry nuclear warheads. Iran has long denied having any plans to develop atomic weapons. "They expect us to limit our missile program while they constantly threaten Iran with military action. So this is a stupid, idiotic expectation," Khamenei was quoted as

Comments:
While Israel has to listen to this continually, it is galling that 0bama is in league with Iran now as they openly produce these terrorist WMD.

Got bitten by the blank post bug.

The Iranians are not stupid. If I were planning for war, I´d make sure that the US was out of the way first. Take out the US fleet, and take out the US if possible, perhaps using an EMP attack. The US is the only country that MIGHT come to Israel´s defense. The EU? Meh.

Mobile, Ala. - A federal judge in Alabama has dismissed a Catholic broadcaster´s legal claim that requiring employers to include contraception in their health care coverage is unconstitutional. U.S. District Judge Callie Granade acted Wednesday on the lawsuit filed by the Eternal Word Television Network, which has studios in a Birmingham suburb. The broadcasting group said it will appeal. Dozens of church-related organizations have filed suit over the law across the country. Like those groups, EWTN contends the government is violating its rights by requiring employers to provide health care coverage that includes

Everyone seems to agree that the Sunni extremists who are striving to carve out a caliphate in Syria and Iraq have upended the region, but there is no consensus on what to call the militant group, in English at least. Many news outlets, including The New York Times, have been translating the group’s name as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, or ISIS for short. But the United States government and several news agencies call it the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant, or I.S.I.L. (The BBC, curiously, uses the ISIS acronym, but “Levant” when spelling the name out.) Neither way is an exact rendering of the group’s Arabic name,

A president’s executive order is a special type of regulation, intended to tell federal bureaucrats how to do their jobs in enforcing the nation’s laws. Instead, President Obama wants to use them as imperial edicts, creating new laws that tell Americans how we must live our lives. Some individuals would receive new benefits at the expense of others, but Mr. Obama mislabels these as “rights.” He and his fellow Democrats are cashing in on issuing these special privileges. Most recently, Mr. Obama has promised an executive order granting LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) protections for everyone connected with a company

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Patent Office ruled Wednesday that the Washington Redskins nickname is "disparaging of Native Americans" and that the team´s federal trademarks for the name must be canceled. The 2-1 ruling comes after a campaign to change the name has gained momentum over the past year. The team doesn´t immediately lose trademark protection and is allowed to retain it during an appeal. Redskins owner Daniel Snyder has refused to change the team´s name, citing tradition, but there has been growing pressure including statements in recent months from President Barack Obama, lawmakers of both parties and civil rights groups.

In what some see as the first step to forcing the Washington Redskins football team to change their name, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Wednesday cancelled six federal trademarks of the team name because it´s “disparaging” to Native Americans. “Petitioners have shown by a preponderance of the evidence that a substantial composite of Native Americans found the term REDSKINS to be disparaging,” said the decision. Fans, however, won’t see any immediate change — even if Daniel Snyder’s team eventually loses in court. That’s because all the order will do is eliminate the trademark the team has on merchandise. The Redskins are expected to appeal.

Hillary Clinton´s minions are hard at work assembling a political machine and fine tuning it for another go at the White House. Mrs. Clinton is doing her part preparing for a run as well, churning out a bland memoir about the "hard choices" she faced as secretary of state and coyly positioning herself (again) as the inevitable nominee of the party. Hardly anyone accepts the IRS’ claim to have lost two years of Lois Lerner’s emails. Those most familiar with government record retention requirements, and the technology used, probably are the most skeptical. The supposedly lost emails cover January 2009 to April 2011, the period when Lerner is suspected of targeting conservative groups with heightened and invasive scrutiny. Those emails also pertain to communications Lerner may have had with agencies other than the Internal Revenue Service. That’s key, because many suspect that the Obama White House knew about, and may have coordinated, the targeting.
