Triple-Amputee Iraqi War Hero’s Letter
Shames the President of the United States

Independent Journal Review, by Mike Miller

Original Article

Posted By:Pluperfect, 5/11/2014 5:30:49 AM

We embrace heroes in America. Senior Airman Brian Kolfage defines hero: the triple-amputee veteran of the Iraqi War overcame insurmountable odds to survive his horrific injuries. Kolfage recently sent a powerful – and damning – letter to his commander-in-chief: I nearly died in a war that you and most of your colleagues supported overwhelmingly, including the two presidents who came before you. Many citizens may not agree with waging war in Iraq to free the oppressed Iraqi citizens, but it’s something that warriors like myself have zero control over. I joined to serve my country and to better my life. I’ve

Great letter, and the saddest is the truth of O squandering the victory so hard fought and won...but O-hole just can´t let Bush or any Republican admin. have a victory. The real losers are the poor Iraqis who had a taste of freedom if only for a moment. O-hole and his screech owl spouse are shameful and a disgrace, I am SO ASHAMED OF MY PRESIDENT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE
(even CLinton looks good by comparison)

Sadly, the biggest shame is on America itself, for electing and reelecting the ignorant, ill-intentioned Leftist and placing so much power in his "you didn´t build this" hands. But hopefully more vets will speak out like brave Mike Miller here.

I salute Senior Airman Kolfage for his sacrifice, his courage, and the stones to call this disaster in the White House exactly what he is: UNFIT TO BE COMMANDER IN CHIEF! I´m sure the left leaning loonies will call it hate speech but I would call it freedom of speech. This brave airman has earned the right to voice his opinion.

Dittos #6 - This should be a Must Read. This brave patriot I hope has been decorated with the Medal of Honor, a Purple Heart, and the Air Force Cross.

We used to elect men to the Presidency who themselves knew what it meant to fight for their country in some capacity - Eisenhower, Nixon, JFK, Bush41, and Bush43. Those are only the ones while I´ve been alive. I would include Truman because he had the guts to use the atom bomb to end WWII.

The headline is useless - Barry knows no shame.

What a hard letter to read.
It is a sad state of affairs when we see our military used as pawns in ways like this.

The Vietnam vet served led by leaders who treated them with little regard.

There are too few Great Depression-era people alive to vote out the self-serving types in DC and in the current regime who do not fully and truly value their service to our country.

My thoughs and prayers go out to our military men and women and their families dealing with these kinds of problems on a daily basis. Don´t lose heart that other do not care about you!

He´s a disgrace of immense proportions. He is FDR, LBJ, and Jimmy Carter all rolled into one, and if the rumors of his marital life are correct, add Bill Clinton to the list. He´s a collage of Democrat failures.

The reluctance of Hamas’s “military wing”—a misnomer for the more extreme elements of its extremist leadership—to accept the cease-fire designed by Egypt is, well, logical. Let’s admit it. They do not wish to accept defeat, and the Egyptian terms are a defeat for Hamas. By attacking Israel, what has Hamas wrought? Considerable damage was done to Gaza by Israeli air power, and Gazans will be picking up the pieces for months if not longer. But Hamas proved unable to kill one single Israeli with its hundreds of rockets, and all its special tricks—tunnels, longer-range rockets, a drone—also failed. Nor could

House Republicans are moving quickly to address the growing humanitarian crisis on the southern border, possibly holding votes as soon as next week. As Congress moves closer to the monthlong August recess, the speedy action sends a clear message to Senate Democrats: Take it or leave it. Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), incoming Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and a group of top lawmakers working on the border crisis are set to file a bill that very closely mirrors the legislation crafted by Texas lawmakers Sen. John Cornyn, a Republican, and Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar.

In a 15-minute telephone interview, the Republican Akin compared his downfall in the 2012 Missouri Senate race to that of former Sen. Two of the larger social trends of our time — the growth of payday gambling and the legalization of marijuana — have two things in common: They are justified as the expansion of personal liberty, and they serve the interests of an expanding government. The ideological alliance behind these changes is among the strangest in U.S. politics. Libertarians seek to lift governmental restraints on consensual acts. State governments seek sources of revenue without the political inconvenience of requesting broad tax increases. Both find common ground in encouraging and exploiting the weaknesses and addictions of citizens. (And business interests and their lobbyists,

That same consensus also holds that if the GOP does indeed take control, the next two years will be marked by confrontation with the White House and even less actual legislative action than the present Congress has accomplished. To be fair, there is some compelling logic behind these conclusions. President Obama has clearly opted out of the role of governing through legislation. He has become the most defensive president since at least World War II, blaming the Congress not just for all the ills of the
