Things Harry Reid Has Blamed
on the Koch Brothers

Wall Street Journal, by Michael R. Crittenden

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) hasn’t hidden the fact he has a bone to pick with industrial magnates Charles and David Koch. In an attempt to make them the centerpiece of Democrats’ efforts to retain the Senate in November’s midterms, Mr. Reid has regularly used the two billionaires as his go-to bogeymen, referring to Republicans’ “addiction to Koch” (yes, the surname is pronounced Coke) and regularly attacking political advertising that the Kochs have funded. But he’s also blamed them for broader issues and problems. The Kochs have responded that Mr. Reid attacks the brothers because he can’t defend Democrats’

That one sentence is so true: Democrats can´t and won´t defend their own record so all they do is attack everyone else.

Dingy´s nose grows longer by the day. He should be forbidden to spew his lies on the floor of the US Senate. Take it outside, buddy.

Reid understands the legal risks of taking it outside, #2. That´s why he stays in the Senate well.

The Rest of the Story:

Harry Reid is carrying the "Hate The South" torch whose contemporary roots are right before the assassination of JFK when JFK, pushing "civil rights" and more importantly, "sending grain to Russia" right in the middle of the cold war on the heels of the Bay of Pigs fiasco, was being vilified by "the South", and the precursor of The Tea Party, The John Birch Society, was shining the light on domestic Communism much to the discomfort of said Communists, many of whom operating out of Hollywood as well as infiltrating all facets of the U.S. government.

The Koch´s supported the fight against domestic and international Communism, but particularly domestic Communism, following Welch´s leading The John Birch Society (and H.L. Hunt who held JFK in contempt as well) who singled out JF and RFK for their "positions" at the time relative to handling "Russia" and the appearance of being soft on Communism (again the U.S. "giving Russia grain deal"").

Then JFK is assassinated in Dallas.

Enter Harry Reid and Pee-low-See (at best tools/stooges of domestic Communism) and the current Hollywood symbiotic crop against this backdrop, and then go figure out the rest.

Japanese Knotweed: The Invasive

When the German botanist Philipp von Siebold sent a variety of plant specimens to the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew in August 1850, he had no idea what he was unleashing on the world. Among the various floral and tuberous growths he dispatched was a plant which, 164 years later, is leaving a trail of mayhem all across the planet. It goes by the name of Japanese knotweed, or Fallopia japonica. It presents a pleasing appearance to the eye: heart-shaped leaves, bamboo stems and pretty, little white-flower tassels. What is less obvious is this plant’s relentless killer instinct. Look through the

The coal industry is poised to score a rare victory over the Obama administration in the fight over the Export-Import Bank. Both of the working proposals in the House and Senate to renew the bank’s charter would reverse Ex-Im guidelines that prevent financing for overseas power plants that decline to adopt greener technology. Bank officials adopted the policies, which included exemptions for the world´s poorest nations, in December amid the Obama administration´s broader push to address climate change. Up until now, coal-state Democrats such as Sen. Manchin (D-W.Va.) have lacked political leverage to fight back. But that’s changing thanks to the looming Sept. 30

Israeli police say that an American teenager who was detained and allegedly beaten during violent protests over the death of his Palestinian cousin has been brought before a court in an attempt to extent his period in custody. The parents of 15-year-old Tariq Abu Khdeir, who goes to school in Florida, say their son was beaten by Israeli police during clashes over the killing of 16-year-old Mohammed Abu Khdeir, whom Palestinians say was killed by Israeli extremists in a revenge attack. Police say Tariq Abu Khdeir resisted arrest, attacked officers and was carrying a slingshot for lobbing stones when he was arrested. The

The U.S. will remain the world’s biggest oil producer this year after overtaking Saudi Arabia and Russia as extraction of energy from shale rock spurs the nation’s economic recovery, Bank of America Corp. said. U.S. production of crude oil, along with liquids separated from natural gas, surpassed all other countries this year with daily output exceeding 11 million barrels in the first quarter, the bank said in a report today. The country became the world’s largest natural gas producer in 2010. The International Energy Agency said in June that the U.S. was the biggest producer of oil and natural gas liquids. “The

WASHINGTON — When the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria announced Sunday that it was changing its name and reviving the caliphate, the news lit up the Internet and headlined news reports around the world. But what is a caliphate? And what is the self-described Islamic State hoping to achieve with its declaration? The answers, experts say, have more to do with the Sunni militant group’s rivalry with al Qaida than with any plan to replicate the last caliphate, which was abolished in 1924 after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. Understanding the history of the caliphate and its powerful symbolism is key

The spirit of independence is alive in Murrieta, Calif., where townspeople heard that the federal government was about to send 170 illegal-alien children flooding across the border to their town in Riverside County. Three hundred residents stood in front of the buses, blocking the way. The federales withdrew, rerouting the buses to San Diego. But soon, the federales were on their way back. Allowing a crowd to block a public highway can’t be tolerated, but “the humanitarian crisis” on the border is the work of President Obama. The wishes of Murrieta are of no concern to this administration. No one can

On this Independence Day it’s worth hearing how the American Longrifle helped win the battle for American freedom. If you don’t know this rifle’s starring role in American history you can’t understand America’s link to the gun or why so many firearms manufacturers are moving or expanding away from states that have banned their products. For this history lesson I stopped in to see Phil Schreier, the senior curator for the NRA’s National Firearms Museum, in Fairfax, VA. The headline of today’s jobs report, that 288,000 jobs were created in the last month, is positive. At least, it is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. However, as with most economic reports these days, there is a veneer of good news — but when you look closer, the White House is using the positive headlines to hide the growing deterioration of the American workforce. I’m sure by now people are tired of reading about the bad news, and I’ll admit I am weary of having to blow the whistle and expose the truth every

As of March 2014, Obama has spent more time traveling internationally than any other president, taking 31 trips since assuming office in 2009. The 119 days spent overseas have

President Obama has quietly promised Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren complete support if she runs for president — a stinging rebuke to his nemesis Hillary Clinton, sources tell me. Publicly, Obama has remained noncommittal on the 2016 race, but privately he worries that Clinton would undo and undermine many of his policies. There’s also a personal animosity, especially with Bill Clinton, that dates from their tough race six years ago. A former Harvard law professor and administration aide, Warren would energize the left wing of the Democrat Party just as Obama did against Clinton in 2008.
