Rand Paul to GOP: Our voter
ID push is “offending people”

I’ve been waiting three hours since I saw this tweet for the NYT to publish a transcript or story about what he said, but no dice as I’m writing this. If it happens tonight, I’ll update with a link. The quote’s almost certainly not out of context, though: Remember, Paul told David Axelrod a few weeks ago that he thinks the GOP might be overemphasizing the issue. What’s newsy about this is the tone. Sounds like he’s gone from “maybe this isn’t a great idea” to “let’s drop it, quickly.”Meeting with black pastors and breaking with the party orthodoxy on

That is alright Rand because I find it past offensive that these blowhards meeting with you are offended because they are illegally voting, voting twice/three/four times in many different states, registering the dead to vote and doing the voting for the dead, registering illegal´s and taking them to the poll´s to vote and registering felons who lost their right to vote...to vote. Tell them to suck it up, and get id. Following the law will do American citizens a nation of good.

Those who are so easily and conveniently "offended" are never going to vote for a Republican no matter what he says or does. The proper response to "I find that offensive" is "I´m offended that you´re offended".

Too bad, Rand. Any effort to close electoral loopholes will offend those who benefit from the voter fraud that passes through those loopholes. Making sure each voter is registered, voting as him/her self, and voting only once offends people who believe it´s evil to prohibit non-citizens from voting or to block ´the oppressed´ Democrats from voting multiple times and in multiple districts.

Hey Paul wake up, it´s not the people who object they have ID´s, it´s the democrat politicians who object. Their dead people don´t have ID´s. I need an ID for prescriptions, Doctors, Dentists, hospitals, insurance companies, Sams club, Costco. Paul should be asking the democrat politicians the real reason they object to ID´s. My guess is they won´t be able to vote but once as require by law.

And those "offended" by voter ID will rarely, if ever, vote for the GOP. Rand, you offend me.

Show some leadership Rand. Instead of just bowing to their arguments, argue why a photo ID is good for everyone´s vote and how that requirement in no way disenfranchises Blacks or minorities. You have several states with photo ID requirements where Black and minority voting actually increased. Again, show some leadership and convince them that a photo ID is good and don´t kowtow to their propaganda. I was neither for or against Paul, but now he has fallen into the do not vote for category.

Obviously this has hit a cord. But, okay, I´ll go along with him under one condition. No ID need be required for anything. Nothing, absolutely nothing would require an ID. No booze ID, no flying on a plane ID, no applying for government benefits ID, no ID for getting in a government building and on and on. Funny how requiring an ID for those things doesn´t seem to bother anyone but the chance to vote more than once seems to upset a certain segment of our society. Strange.

I will guarantee that when a patient comes
into Dr Rand Paul´s office-
they must show a photo ID.
Every legitimate doctor´s office asks for a photo ID.
As do a myriad of other places offering health care .
Patients on Obamacare and Medicare
must show a photo ID when
visiting a legitimate health care provider.
Banking requires a photo ID.
Like when one is cashing a Social Security check.
Using a credit card often requires a photo ID.
If one is a legal citizen of the US
they can get a photo ID.
That is, if they´re not a complete idiot.
Or not actually a citizen of the US.

Ever wonder why Republicans want Voter ID???

-In 59 voting districts in the Philadelphia region, Obama received 100% of the votes with not even a single vote recorded for Romney. (A mathematical and statistical impossibility).

- In 21 districts in Wood County Ohio, Obama received 100% of the votes where GOP inspectors were illegally removed from their polling locations - and not one single vote was recorded for Romney. (Another statistical impossibility).

- In Wood County Ohio, 106,258 voted in a county with only 98,213 eligible voters.

-In St. Lucie County, FL, there were 175,574 registered eligible voters
but 247,713 votes were cast. (Allen West lost there after uncounted
ballots were suddenly found.)

- The National SEAL Museum, a polling location in St. Lucie County, FL had a 158% voter turnout.

- Palm Beach County, FL had a 141% voter turnout.

- In one Ohio County, Obama won by 108% of the total number of eligible voters.

-NOTE: Obama won in every state that did not require a Photo ID and lost in every state that did require a Photo ID in order to vote.

-A crosscheck of voter rolls in Virginia and Maryland turned up 44,000
people registered in both states, a vote-integrity group reported
Wednesday.And that’s just the beginning.http://watchdog.org/140187/dup...

-New York wants ID Cards for illegal aliens but does not want ID Cards for voting.http://conservativebyte.com/20...
THAT MEANS THAT DEMOCRATS WANT ID CARDS FOR ORDINARY LIFE, BUT WANT IT TO BE EASY FOR THEM TO CHEAT IN THE ELECTIONS!
-The North Carolina State Board of Elections has found thousands of instances of voter fraud in the state, thanks to a 28-state crosscheck of voter rolls. Initial findings suggest widespread election fraud.
.765 voters with an exact match of first and last name, DOB and last four digits of SSN were registered in N.C. and another state and voted in N.C. and the other state in the 2012 general election.
• 35,750 voters with the same first and last name and DOB were registered in N.C. and another state and voted in both states in the 2012 general election.
• 155,692 voters with the same first and last name, DOB and last four digits of SSN were registered in N.C. and another state – and the latest date of registration or voter activity did not take place within N.C.
The second point is key, as double voting is election fraud under state and federal statutes. Punishment for double voting in federal elections can include jail time.In October 2012, Project Veritas produced video showing a Barack Obama campaign worker helping a voter register to vote in both Texas and Florida. The Interstate Crosscheck examines 101 million voter records in more than two dozen participating states. The findings, while large, leave open the question of just how widespread double voting might be since 22 states did not participate in the Interstate Crosscheck. In addition to the above, the crosscheck found that more than 13,000 deceased voters remain on North Carolina’s rolls, and that 81 of them showed voter activity in their records after death.
-119% of voters vote in Wisconsin district- http://www.breitbart.com/Big-government/2012/06/05/report-voter-turnout-119-percent-in-madison

He said the 26-year-old illegal immigrant from El Salvador was covered in tattoos linking him to the criminal organization. The traffic stop happened on Military Road. TEGUCIGALPA - Top Honduran officials on Wednesday called for U.S. aid to Central America to reduce violence that has fueled a surge of child migration to the United States, with the foreign minister calling for a "mini-Marshall plan" to attack the broader underlying problems. Honduran President Juan Hernandez said Washington should help Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras fight gangs with a plan similar to U.S. anti-drug programs in Colombia and Mexico, as well as funds to lift growth in the impoverished region. "One has to recognize that our countries can´t do it alone," he said at a conference about the unaccompanied minors

In a briefing for New York City’s private security community, Rebecca Weiner, the NYPD’s director of intelligence analysis, warned that Inspire magazine is instructing would-be terrorists on how to make bombs and where to set them off, WCBS 880´s Marla Diamond reported. The magazine lists targets in Washington, D.C.; Virginia; and New York — including the US Open, which begins Aug. 25 in Flushing Meadows, Queens. Weiner stressed that police are not aware of any

Welcome to America! As reported earlier today by Kristinn Taylor… The Obama administration has awarded a $50 million contract to a charitable group to buy a Texas resort hotel and transform it in to a 600 bed facility for juvenile illegal aliens. The beautiful Palm Aire resort and hotel has an indoor Olympic sized pool and an outdoor pool. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are included in the simply decorated guest rooms. The Palm Aire Hotel and Suites is set to be sold to Baptist Child & Family Services (BCFS) operating under a federal contract, pending local government approval, according

U.S. Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl has a new lawyer to defend him as the Army investigates the circumstances surrounding his kidnapping by the Taliban in 2009. And the former hostage wants President Obama to know that he is grateful the U.S. government traded five Taliban commanders in exchange for his release in May. “Sergeant Bergdahl is deeply grateful to President Obama for saving his life,” Bergdahl’s

If the Palestinians are merely engaged in a nationalist struggle for self-determination, then why are they inciting genocide of Jewry? In the midst of Operation Protective Edge, Hamas released a music video in Hebrew calling for the Palestinians to bomb Israel and kill all Israelis. “Raze it [Israel] to the ground, exterminate the cockroaches’ nest, and banish all the Zionists,” the lyrics read. Some human rights activists and lawyers may get a sense of déjà vu upon reading these words. Back in 1994, there were several radio broadcasts calling for the extermination of human cockroaches. They were in Rwanda. When the Hutus began their

TOPEKA, Kan. — Democratic challenger Paul Davis sought Tuesday to give his campaign for Kansas governor a bipartisan boost by announcing endorsements from more than 100 moderate Republicans who´ve split with conservative GOP Gov. Sam Brownback over education and tax policy. The disaffected Republicans include outgoing Insurance Commissioner Sandy Praeger, three former Kansas Senate presidents and three former Kansas House speakers. More than half are former legislators, and the list includes former U.S. Rep. Jan Meyers, who represented the Kansas City-area 3rd District from 1985 to 1997. They announced that they formed Republicans for Kansas Values because of their concerns about the

The headline from AP certainly is alarming: “100 Kansas GOP endorse Democrat for governor.” And the lead paragraph continues the theme: Democratic challenger Paul Davis sought Tuesday to give his campaign for Kansas governor a bipartisan boost by announcing endorsements from more than 100 moderate Republicans who´ve split with conservative GOP Gov. Sam Brownback over education and tax policy. You might be wondering, to borrow Thomas Frank’s infamous book title, “What’s the matter with Kansas”? I can’t claim to be an expert on the Jayhawker State, but it does appear that this is a matter of sour grapes: Six state senators on

The U.S. deported Honduran children as young as 1-1/2 years old on Monday in the first flight since President Obama pledged to speed up the process of sending back illegal immigrant minors from Central America. Fleeing violence and poverty, record numbers of children from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala have crossed into the United States over the past year, sparking intense debate about how to solve the problem. The Obama administration quietly announced on Tuesday that it intends to change the way Americans learn about natural disasters and other major emergencies during radio and TV broadcasts, giving the president the ability to flip a switch and address the entire nation at once. The Emergency Alert System, the latest version of a program first established in 1951, blasts out emergency messages in the event of local weather emergencies, but can also be used to warn Americans about terror attacks and major natural disasters. In his message to the “Mexico/Holy See Colloquium on Migration and Development,” Pope Francis characterized the tens of thousands of illegal immigrants that have crossed the U.S. southern border as a product of globalization, suggesting that the phenomenon is happening worldwide. Francis proclaimed, “Despite the large influx of migrants present in all continents and in almost all countries, migration is still seen as an emergency, or as a circumstantial and sporadic fact, while instead it has now become a hallmark of our society and a challenge.” Emmer McCarthy for Vatican Radio said Francis expressed his concern for “the tens of thousands of

The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. They’ve just learned they will no longer be allowed to buy Chick-fil-A

“Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security. It had to come sometime, and it came in one very bad week for the Democrats: that the many big problems with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama finally grew too great for the press to ignore. WASHINGTON — It was an enduring image of his presidency: a chastened Bill Clinton walking his dog while wife Hillary keeps her distance as the family leaves town at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal — but it was all part of a contrived public-repentance campaign, according to a new book. With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that
