S.E. Cupp: Liberals, Journos
Have List of Clinton Scandal
‘You Cannot Bring Up’

On Crossfire Wednesday, S.E. Cupp went off on the media’s coverage of Hillary Clinton, saying there is a “whole list of things” liberals and the media have decided “you cannot bring up when it comes to Hillary Clinton,” including Benghazi, Clinton administration scandals, and Monica Lewinsky. Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus pushed back a bit, saying she’s never seen this supposed list, but Cupp insisted the media just avoids being too critical of Clinton and it “reeks of insecurity.” Marcus said if she got the chance to speak to Clinton, she would ask about her reportedly referring to Lewinsky as

President Barack Obama is renewing his two-year amnesty for at least 550,000 younger illegal immigrants, and is rolling back education requirements and anti-fraud measures. “Obama’s extension of his unilaterally-created immigration program not only violates his constitutional duty to enforce the law, but the changes he made to it proactively invite fraud and abuse,” said a June 5 statement by Rep. Bob Goodlatte, the chairman of the House judiciary committee. “By loosening the education standards, potentially millions more unlawful immigrants who do not meet even basic educational requirements will be able to apply for the [amnesty] program,” he said. Goodlatte, however,

In a moving tribute to a woman she called “one of the greatest spirits our world has ever known”, first lady Michelle Obama on Saturday thanked the writer Maya Angelou for empowering young black women like herself with her clever, sassy words. Angelou died last month at the age of 86. (Snip) Obama said Angelou taught all women that self-worth “has nothing to do with what the world might say”. “For me,” she said, “that was the power of Maya Angelou’s words, words so powerful they carried a little black girl from the south side of Chicago all the way

During an interview with NBC’s Brian Williams, Barack Obama claims – incredibly – that “my government” acted ‘unanimously” in its decision to trade five Taliban commanders for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. It was a “unanimous decision” by “my government.” “I make no apologies for it.” But surely, he meant to say “my administration,” right? Don’t bet on it. The deal was overwhelmingly rejected in 2012 by members of Congress, Pentagon officials and the intel community. That doesn’t suggest that the American people’s government was “unanimous”

However, the anchor didn´t mention that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid revealed that he was informed of the trade for Bergdahl on May 27, 2014 – a day before it actually happened. Six of the men Bowe Bergdahl served with sat down with Megyn Kelly on Thursday, and Kelly asked them how they feel about the White House saying the attacks on Bergdahl are just “swift boating” and are motivated by partisanship. All six of them insisted their criticisms are not based in partisan politics, but in fact. All of them agreed that “the truth needs to come out, he’s not a hero,” and that it was “hard to watch” him get such a glowing welcoming in the Rose Garden, given they believe Bergdahl abandoned them to seek out the Taliban and

The Obama White House genuinely believed the release of the American soldier who disappeared in 2009 in Afghanistan would provide a triumphant moment for the president and a moment for national unity. Otherwise, there would have been no Rose Garden celebration featuring the president and Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s parents. Some in the White House surely saw the Rose Garden bit as a chance to play rope-a-dope with their political adversaries after weeks of getting beaten up over the Veterans Administration scandal. They might have calculated that a knee-jerk Republican offensive against the deal — Bergdahl in trade for five

Hi, everybody. This is commencement season, a time for graduates and their families to celebrate one of the greatest achievements of a young person’s life. But for many graduates, it also means feeling trapped by a whole lot of student loan debt. And we’ve got to do more to lift that burden. See, in a 21st century economy, the surest pathway into the middle class is some form of higher education. The unemployment rate for workers with a bachelor’s degree is just 3.3 percent — about half what it is for high school graduates. The typical graduate of a four-year college earns $15,000 more per year than someone with just a high school degree.

Under the plan, the federal government will issue $2 million in grants to enroll about 100 lawyers and paralegals to represent children making their way through the immigration court system. “We’re taking a historic step to strengthen our justice system and protect the rights of the most vulnerable members of society,” Attorney General Eric H.
