Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi
are America´s great dividers

Washington Examiner, by Patrick Howley

Harry Reid´s hometown newspaper - the Las Vegas Review-Journal - recently offered an important observation: “As majority leader of the U.S. Senate, Harry Reid is supposed to lead. The Nevada Democrat should be focused on the concerns of Americans and on shaping debate on important matters of national interest. Sen. Reid is doing neither. In fact, he´s working so hard to ignore the taxpaying public´s priorities that he has become a parody of his position.” The Review-Journal pointed to Reid´s obsession with “billionaire oil businessmen Charles and David Koch,” citing the “over-the-top frequency in recent months -- calling them out by

Comments:
It is surprising that the Las Vegas Review-Journal said that Reid has become a parody of his position. I note that Holder is not mentioned and all the rest of the Democrats are the greatest dividers this country has ever seen.

This is encouraging to see, because we are not allowed to post from the R-J site. I urge everyone to follow the link and read the complete editorial. The R-J has regularly trashed Dingy Harry in its editorials; but again, we can´t post from that site.

Reid or Pelosi would get 7% of the vote outside their home states. Another amendment needed. If 60% of the governors of the states say your state has an idiot for a representative, that representative should not be allowed to stand for re-election.

On Wednesday Bill O’Reilly blasted Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) for her nutty comments comparing the US border crisis to the ISIS war in Syria. Bill O’Reilly said her comments were moronic and then spelled it out for her – M-O-R-O-N. Sheila Jackson Lee: It’s almost like this crisis in Syria generated this enormous crisis on the border with Jordan. Certainly, it doesn’t equal what we’re doing but that’s what happens and that’s what happened. I don’t think in any way you can fault the administration for this. Bill O’Reilly: What? After another bloody weekend in Chicago, Mayor Rahm Emanuel branded the shootings unacceptable and the city’s top cop demanded more gun control laws. Chicago’s murder rate has actually dropped since concealed carry became legal. Emanuel’s lawsuits over his illegal gun control laws have left the already struggling city deep in the hole and forced to cover the NRA’s million dollars in legal bills. Concealed carry paid off over the bloody weekend when a vet carrying a gun returned fire stopping a massacre before it happened. The original shooter ended up in the hospital, but nobody ended up in the morgue, which

For once, I have to agree with the White House. They’re right to deny that the debacle along the border with Mexico is President Obama’s Hurricane Katrina moment. It’s actually much worse. White House Domestic Policy Council Director Cecilia Muñoz said it wasn’t fair to compare the debacle along the border with Mexico to Hurricane Katrina. She’s right about that. The Katrina analogy has been mooted by a number of conservative writers but got some extra juice this week when Democrat Rep. Henry Cuellar, whose Texas district is situated along the border where locals have been overwhelmed by the surge of

The View has yet to confirm any new co-hosts (though multiple reports suggest Rosie O’Donnell is back in), but one person they’re reportedly considering is Meghan McCain, co-host of TakePart Live on Pivot and daughter of Senator John McCain. There have been rumblings for a while that the daytime talk show has been looking for a conservative voice to sit at the desk (Elisabeth Hasselbeck‘s departure left a void there, but The View has brought in conservative guest hosts like Will Cain and Mary Katharine Ham this year). And so, according to E! Online, McCain might end up filling that role

HOUSTON, Texas--Breitbart Texas has learned that hospitals based in Southern Texas are being utilized to evaluate and treat illegal immigrants before they are sent to housing facilities around the country. Margaret Althoff-Olivas, Director of Public Affairs for University Medical Center (UMC) of El Paso, told Breitbart Texas, "The U.S. Border Patrol (BP) has established a rotating schedule for area hospitals to medically evaluate detainees associated with the recent influx of Central American immigrants. The White House on Tuesday formally requested $3.7 billion in emergency funding from Congress to deal with an influx of Central American minors along the southern border. But the proposal was quickly met with broad skepticism among Republican lawmakers, who were doubtful that the package would be approved quickly — if at all. Administration officials said the request is part of a comprehensive strategy aimed at building more detention centers, adding immigration judges, and beefing up border patrols and air surveillance. President Obama has said he hopes such steps will both speed deportations and discourage adults from sending children on

Starting next week, House Republicans will launch a highly visible—and likely tumultuous—three-week process of bringing to the floor legislation to authorize their promised lawsuit against President Obama over his use of executive actions. "In theory, you could report out a resolution tomorrow and vote on it," said a House GOP aide on Tuesday. "But that is not the approach [the leaders] want to take." Rather, the aim is to display—if not actually engage in—a more deliberative process, even if amid controversy. This drawn-out script builds toward a potentially dramatic floor vote held just days, or even hours, before the House adjourns on

The bill, developed in consultation with the Obama administration, would require for-profit corporations like Hobby Lobby Stores to provide and pay for contraceptive coverage, along with other preventive services, under the Affordable Care Act. Enough is enough of the years of abuse from this president. His unsecured border crisis is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, “no mas.” Without borders, there is no nation. Obama knows this. Opening our borders to a flood of illegal immigrants is deliberate. This is his fundamental transformation of America. It’s the only promise he has kept. Fate hasn´t been kind to Hillary Clinton, at least not in its most recent phase. In 2008, when the plate was set for the national Democrats, she lost the nomination to Barack Obama, of scant years and no gravitas, who soared out of nowhere to wrench destiny from her on the unspecified promise of "change." Now, "change" has come, and people don´t like it. Iraq changed from a safe, stable ally (just ask Obama) to a terrorist haven, one of the reasons why, though no fellow Democrats seem likely to edge her, her chances of winning the White House seem dim. Despite Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson vowing to "stem the tide" of unaccompanied illegal minors across the southern border with Mexico, thousands more are expected to enter the United States by the end of the year. With the system being overwhelmed, Border Patrol agents are concerned about minors who have admitted to being MS-13 members, a brutal street gang from El Salvador that has been successful in infiltrating American communities. Agents are also concerned about minors who have committed acts like torture and murder in their home countries before heading north to the United States. "We have six minors in Nogales
