Attkisson: There’s a ‘Well-Orchestrated
Strategy to Controversialize’ Benghazi

Mediate, by Noah Rothman

Former CBS News reporter Sharyl Attkisson joined the hosts of Fox & Friends on Monday and was asked for her thoughts on apparent efforts by former Obama administration officials Tommy Vietor and David Plouffe to dismiss the latest revelations about the response to the Benghazi attack. The former CBS reporter said that she believes there is a concerted effort to delegitimize investigations into that deadly 2012 attack orchestrated by people close to the White House. Attkisson was asked for her thoughts on how the White House has reacted to the latest release of emails pertaining to the response to Benghazi,

We all know what the democrats will do. Lie, smear, name call and undermine. The game plan will be a repeat of the one used on Ken Starr but this time with the added charge of racism.

PS: I´m betting Fox News is strategizing how Sharyl will fit into the organization.

With Nancy and Harry on the committee it will certainly stack the deck against an honest discovery process.
Hope Boehner says no to those two fraud.

I would slightly disagree with her that it´s a story they "don´t want to hear about." It´s a story that they don´t hear the truth about and will do everything they can to suppress it. The Communists on the left will utilize their holy grail the Alinsky Rules for radicals and threaten, intimidate and try to destroy anyone who is on the side of the truth. I really dread how ugly this is going to get. If you thought Obama and his hideous, odious regime were bad before, he will unleash hell on those who care about the honor, integrity, justice and the rule of law in this country.

We have a whole new breed of Chicago type Democrats in Washington, the likes of which we have never seen. Those on the right side of the law had better have steel spines and never waver because the attacks are going to be relentless and unmerciful. This will make Watergate, Plamegate and the Clinton impeachment look like child´s play.

I was pleasantly surprised at the choice of Trey Gowdy to head the committee. I knew the second shoe would drop but Nancy and Harry, really??? Did not see that coming. My opinion is that they were appointed so they will be able to come out after every hearing and spout their talking points. They will also be interviewed by every news media outlet because of their participation which they will use to undermine the investigation. I honestly thought that we would finally get some real answers but I fear the stage is set for drama that only the likes of Reid and Pelosi can deliver. Let´s face it. The democrats do misdirection and obstruction like no one else. Reid and Pelosi have the ear of the media and no matter how outrageous their statements are, they will be reported as truth. I´d like to think the Republican strategy is keep your friends close and your enemies closer, but with these two snakes, getting bitten is a real possibility.

I like Sharyl Attkisson and think she does a great job but ´controversialize´? Why do those who consider themselves intellectuals choose to use words that make them sound so elite? It was a turnoff and I did not read the article. Use of that type of language only emphasizes the need of that person to prove to themselves they are smarter than everyone else. No one is buying that.

´ wonder if Obama/Clinton have ever read any Stephen King novels , namely "The Dead Zone", because this predicts their future. In this novel, a politician grabs a child and uses it as a human shield to make an escape during an assasination attempt, ending his polical career-character revealed.

I believe it is safe to say Benghazi will wreck any shot Hillary had at 2016: US citizens are aware of this betrayal of Americans and are taking mental notes. It is a shame it has taken the murder of four Americans to expose her character, which is running on empty. Most of us luc posters knew all along but this is like a neon sign/warning.

Woodwards and Bernsteins used to expose criminal cover-ups. Now, they *are* the criminal cover-up. It only took the Left 42 years to fundamentally transform journalism into the complete opposite of what it was.

Why is Pelosi on that committee? She wants "to talk about something else." Guess she´s the deflection device that will attempt to derail the investigation. Since Boehner has obstructed Issa from going further on this until the latest email release, I have doubts we´ll ever get to the bottom (and I mean bottom) of this until Boehner is no longer Speaker.

It all helps to keep their supporters on board, throw mud at the Republicans, and hopefully, beat the rap. Obama has already rounded up his lawyer Eggleston, the guy who helped Clinton.

This is Obama´s Muslim outreach foreign policy. Programs like this have always failed in the past because they reach out to people that are at war with the United States. When Obama announced this, there was very little outcry in Washington by either party. Then Americans get murdered on the anniversary of 9/11 by terrorists. The policy is still in place, and one, maybe both parties, are trying to cover it up, hoping it will go away. Government corruption at its worst.

Somehow I got lost in the weeds. If the House is setting up the special committee, how does Dingy fit in the mix as a Senator?

The other thing is that usually during election times, the rats move Dingy and Piglousy out of the public view – bad for business if they’re allowed exposure. If either one were to have face time for their propaganda about the investigation, the youth vote would see the doddering old fools that run the rat party. Think of the optics, a vibrant Gowdy speaking facts with directness verses stuttering fossils spewing nonsensical lies. Personally, I like the idea.

The way to rebut the smear campaign is to keep showing the photographs of the four persons sacrificed for political expediency. This isn´t a story of sordid sexual escapades and lying a la Clinton, this is about abandoning troops in combat. Those men were working for the government and were left to die. The coverup is as bad as the crime because the powers-that-be wouldn´t allow anyone to try to save those persons and are lying nonstop to hide their treachery. Talk about dereliction of duty. I don´t care how they´re derided, the Republicans, Fox News, and the few reporters willing to be involved owe it to those four to keep revealing the truth of this. What a sordid world we live in that allows this to go unchecked.

´Controversialize´ is not an apt word to describe what the DEMs are doing. From Day One, the Democrats have been lying about what happened, and there has never been widespread agreement as to what happened in Beghazi. The controversy has always been there.

"Whitewash´ or ´trivialize´ would be better words to describe what Democrats are doing.

“Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security. John McCain, an immigration hawk. Who knew? Mr. McCain, the highest-profile Republican of the U.S. Senate’s “Gang of Eight” that came up with amnesty as the solution to the immigration crisis — and it truly is a crisis — is finally taking a hard line against President Obama for his encouraging the tidal wave of illegal aliens swamping the southwestern border. “There has to be a halt to this,” Mr. McCain thundered Sunday on CNN. “That’s what we want, and the best way to do that is for planeloads of these young people to be returning to their country of origin

It had to come sometime, and it came in one very bad week for the Democrats: that the many big problems with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama finally grew too great for the press to ignore. Obama in his own different way is heading towards Nixon-like levels of weirdness, as, beaten down by the failures regarding his ventures, he appears to have quit his own job. A.B. Stoddard of the Hill says in effect he has stopped being president and chooses to live in a world of his own, shutting out the problems that have become overwhelming, giving dinners where he talks

Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has warned all of his colleagues in Congress that President Barack Obama’s new immigration strategy—his plans to legalize millions of illegal alien adults through executive power—could destroy America as we know it. “I write to inform you of a development that threatens the foundation of our constitutional Republic,” Sessions, Congress’s top immigration hawk, wrote in a letter that was hand-delivered to all 535 members of Congress on Monday and provided exclusively to Breitbart News. Sessions cites a recent report from the National Journal, in which reporter Major Garrett detailed how, despite the ongoing

Attorney General Eric Holder encouraged Americans not to forget race while working for justice and equality in their country. “As it stands, our society is not yet color blind -- nor should it be -- given the disparities that still afflict and divide us.” Holder explained, “We must be color brave, and we must never forget that all are made better and more prosperous if all are given equal opportunities.” Holder made his remarks during a speech at Howard University on Tuesday for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Civil Rights Act. “We must take into account not only the

WASHINGTON — It was an enduring image of his presidency: a chastened Bill Clinton walking his dog while wife Hillary keeps her distance as the family leaves town at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal — but it was all part of a contrived public-repentance campaign, according to a new book. With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that
