Another Iowa visit by Republican Rick Perry seems to signal that he´s serious about renewing connections here as he weighs a possible do-over presidential campaign in 2016. Perry, who is serving his final months as the governor of Texas, will return on Thursday, May 29 to Iowa, the state that has a front-row seat in the presidential selection process every four years. It will be his third visit here since the last presidential cycle ended. During his single-day swing, Perry will campaign for Iowa Gov. I´m trying to think positive about this. I love Rick Perry, but many of his 2012 supporters feel snake-bit and worry about another try.

I´ll be in all the way, however, if he does decide to run.

I also like Rick Perry, but do we have to engage in speculation this early? Can´t we at least wait until after the midterms?

That would be good, #4, but I think most of us are so eager to see Obama replaced that speculation is inevitable. I hope Mike Pence gets into it. I would certainly support Rick Perry.

Keep in mind that Reagan ran twice. I am not saying that Rick Perry is Reagan, just saying that we have always fought an extreme uphill battle against the Pravda media with conservative candidates. Should not give up too easily.

I too feel that just because this would be a second run, that´s okay. We forget that every month, many more families are getting the letter that their hours at work are cut, insurance premiums are going up and their college age kids are graduating with few job prospects. Perry could indeed have the aggressive confident style that could speak to the building middle class anger out there. Just my take...

Germany´s Mario Gotze scored with a brilliant finish to win the World Cup for Germany tonight, as his team beat Argentina 1-0 in the hotly-contested final. The Bayern Munich star coolly slotted home to score in the 113th minute, after his team had been battled long into extra time in their bid to take home the famous trophy for the fourth time - the first time as a unified nation. Brian Reichle couldn´t have gotten a pepperoni pizza much faster. Needing to replenish his stash of pot one recent afternoon, the Burbank resident dialed Speed Weed. Within the hour, a driver arrived with a white paper bag carrying a gram of cannabis, 10 joints and a handful of pot-infused candies and cookies. "They come to my house, and they´re in and out," said Reichle, 39, a comedian who spends about $100 a week on medical marijuana. "I shouldn´t have to go to a store." Border apprehensions reportedly decreased last week, but there aren’t any indications that the tide of Central Americans pouring across the border has ebbed. U.S. Rep. Filemon Vela said Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson told him in a briefing July 8 that there was a decline in apprehensions ahead of his trip to Guatemala, one of the nations where the bulk of the immigrants are coming from. Paris- Clashes erupted in Paris on Sunday as thousands of people protested against Israel and in support of residents in the Gaza Strip, where a six-day conflict has left 168 Palestinians dead. Several thousand demonstrators walked calmly through the streets of Paris behind a large banner that read "Total Support for the Struggle of the Palestinian People". But clashes erupted at the end of the march on Bastille Square, with people throwing projectiles onto a cordon of police who responded with tear gas. The unrest continued early Sunday evening as police announced six arrests had been made. A small group tired

In a very underreported story, the Mexican government inked an agreement with Guatemala that would assist citizens from Guatemala in transiting Mexico to get to the US border. Jerome Corsi highlights the 5 areas of cooperation that will make the journey from Guatemala to the US safer: 1. Mexico established for the Central American migrants transiting through Mexico a new Mexican-government issued “Regional Visitor Card” that instructs the Mexican National Institute of Migration to recognize the holder as having been granted by the Mexican government the right to a “temporary stay” in Mexico. On Saturday, President Obama interrupted his busy schedule of playing pool, drinking beer and jumping lines at BBQ joints to play golf an exclusive private country club in Maryland with ESPN host Michael Wilbon. Not like he has anything else to do, right? There’s nothing unusual about the president hitting the golf course – he’s done it at least a record-setting 177 times over his term. But it’s who he is playing golf with that’s interesting. As IJReview’s current Editor-at-Large Larry O’Connor reported for Breitbart in November 2013, Wilbon made the eyebrow-raising comment: “People can be upset with me if

The record flood of Central American children crossing the U.S. border is stretching funds and setting off improvisation at public schools. While politicians spend the summer fighting over how to turn back the tide, school leaders across the country are struggling to absorb a new student population the size of Newark, New Jersey. More than 40,000 children, many of them fresh from violent, harrowing journeys, have been released since October to stateside relatives as courts process their cases. "These kids were homesick and heartbroken," said Robin Hamby, a family specialist for Fairfax County Public Schools in suburban Washington,
