The Five’s Beckel Goes Ballistic over
Benghazi: ‘So What?! Who Cares?!’

Mediaite, by Matt Wilstein

As his co-hosts on The Five continued to examine every angle of the 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi Friday afternoon, this time focusing on comments made by a former White House spokesperson, Bob Beckel decided he had finally had enough. Deliberating echoing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Beckel pounded the table and said, “We know Islamic radicals killed these people, what difference does it make anymore?!” “Let me finish!” Beckel shouted at Eric Bolling, as that host tried to prevent him from bringing up any issues unrelated to the Benghazi attack. When Bolling said he should

This just confirms why I don´t bother turning on the Five anymore. I can´t stand that disgusting, mumbling, offensive jerk Beckel. His behavior was offensive and outrageous! I´m sure if his son was killed in Benghazi he wouldn´t be making those statements!! He should be made to apologize to every one of those families on Monday´s show.

Money quote from Beckle the toad:“Average Americans today, they are not sitting there today and saying, ‘Gee, I wonder what happened with Benghazi.’”

And nobody thought to say, that´s because your slime ball unAmerican media buddies refuse to cover such a serious event you hypocrite - if it was Bush they´d be on it 24/7 reminding everyone of the body count - instead they cover it up for their buddies in the White Hut.

I recently saw a sort of town hall meeting with Dana and Greg, of The Five. The were asked what happens during commercial breaks. They said that often, after Beckel has been particularity heated, he busts out laughing. Then they all attack him asking, "Did you believe anything that you just said?"

Beckel angers me as much as anyone, but it was interesting to learn that. I suppose the show might be boring if everyone agreed and it is Bob´s job to be the naysayer. Today, he did go way over the top!

Beckel asked who cares. I do.

Beckel has every right not to care. I have a right to care and want the TRUTH, as does EVERY AMERICAN.

Who gave Beckel the right to insinuate that it is over when just yesterday NEW INFORMATION came out after being withheld for well over a year.

If Democrats want it to be over they should quit the stonewalling, obfuscation, deflecting and lying and just be honest. Why is that unreasonable to ask?

Dear Bob: It matters because our President and former Secretary of State chose their political fortunes over the safety of our ambassador and other Americans stationed at the Libyan consulate, undermined the honor and integrity of our nation, and with the help of unscrupulous Democrat politicians and left-leaning "journalists" have carried out an all-out campaign of lies, insults and threats to prevent anyone from learning the truth.

I want to know why four Americans were slaughtered in Benghazi. I want to know why they were not sent help.

I want to know where my President was, and who gave the order to ´stand down.´

I want to know who´s idea it was to feed the American public the fiction about the YouTube video.

I want the truth.

Yup, Nixon resigned because most Republicans still understand the difference between right and wrong and are shamed when discovered breaking the rules.

Liberals however never know any shame. They never take any responsibility.

We care Bob because a US ambassador was killed, an unusual and disturbing event. We care because we should have been far better prepared. We care because we should have responded far better. We care because this was a terrorist attack and the administration deliberately deceived the American people about why it happened and who was responsible because it was a political liability to admit the truth.

Yes Bob, other administrations have done bad things. Does that mean we should stop demanding they act properly. Stop whining and acting as a shill for the dems.

Bob, have you seen pictures of the tortured body of Amb. Stevens being dragged through the street? The MSM cared more about Travon Martin than four brave Americans on foreign soil. Our President mourned the death of one young thug; maybe if Chris Stevens or any of the other men had been black, everyone would care. If there was nothing to this story and if it really didn´t matter, the WH would have put out all documents relating to it a long time ago. It stinks when someone covers-up. The same people who say it doesn´t matter, are the ones who kept the Valerie Plame investigation going for years.

The parents of those men murdered in Benghazi should be surprise studio guests on the set of The Five´s next show, and Beckel should have to repeat his impassioned rant to their faces - or, he should look each of them in the eyes and apologize to them publicly, on the air. That was beneath contempt.

The people who care are those who see generation after generation of leftist supremacists filled with self-righteousness that their ends justify any means, whether continually crafting premeditated lies, suppressing dissent using various tactics, murdering individuals who might expose their sordid past or present misdeeds, or even liquidating entire groups of people unwilling to go along with their dystopian agenda of an all-powerful central bureaucracy micromanaging the daily lives of "the masses" to conform to the whims of leftist social engineers, individuality and free conscience be damned. Their ideas and tactics are the diametric opposite of the founding principles of the United States, as they seek a despotic rule that will satisfy their needs and lusts in return for blind loyalty. We will never forget their slogans, salutes and songs as they worshiped their god, Obama!

Bob Beckel’s nervous breakdown of several years running flares up from time to time on camera and today was no exception. He loudly demands to not be interrupted by his fellow participants of “The Five,” yet vociferously interrupting the others is his boorish trademark. Beckel “loses it” often because he’s incapable of expressing himself the way an educated, accomplished adult is expected to behave. What he has there is a failure to communicate. He’s the sore thumb; the schoolyard bully in a group of intelligent, articulate grownups. He does not fit in. No way! No how!

And when he shows up on other FOX shows the channel gets changed.

Beckel is the poster boy for insane far left democrat bullies who tout the party line without ever once being distracted by the facts, what is right, or what is best for America.

One day, when he strangles on his own vileness and his corpulent carcass is finally trucked off to the rendering plant, we will go back to watching the show.

More to the point though, I think they just continue to show how ideological and partisan their thought process is, as is the alphabet media.

Transcripts of congressional testimony released by the House Armed Services committee are the latest in a growing body of evidence that the 2012 Benghazi attacks were premeditated. Gen. He even kind of joked with pro-amnesty activists not to push him to do something that would get him impeached. Here´s how Politico describes what occurred during a private meeting between Obama and pro-amnesty activists last month: President Barack Obama listened to immigration activists run through a long wish list of executive actions – then added a request of

The Obama administration quietly announced on Tuesday that it intends to change the way Americans learn about natural disasters and other major emergencies during radio and TV broadcasts, giving the president the ability to flip a switch and address the entire nation at once. The Emergency Alert System, the latest version of a program first established in 1951, blasts out emergency messages in the event of local weather emergencies, but can also be used to warn Americans about terror attacks and major natural disasters. In his message to the “Mexico/Holy See Colloquium on Migration and Development,” Pope Francis characterized the tens of thousands of illegal immigrants that have crossed the U.S. southern border as a product of globalization, suggesting that the phenomenon is happening worldwide. Francis proclaimed, “Despite the large influx of migrants present in all continents and in almost all countries, migration is still seen as an emergency, or as a circumstantial and sporadic fact, while instead it has now become a hallmark of our society and a challenge.” Emmer McCarthy for Vatican Radio said Francis expressed his concern for “the tens of thousands of

The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. They’ve just learned they will no longer be allowed to buy Chick-fil-A

“Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security. John McCain, an immigration hawk. Who knew? Mr. McCain, the highest-profile Republican of the U.S. Senate’s “Gang of Eight” that came up with amnesty as the solution to the immigration crisis — and it truly is a crisis — is finally taking a hard line against President Obama for his encouraging the tidal wave of illegal aliens swamping the southwestern border. “There has to be a halt to this,” Mr. McCain thundered Sunday on CNN. “That’s what we want, and the best way to do that is for planeloads of these young people to be returning to their country of origin

Contrary to what those who defend the right to own high-powered assault rifles believe, not all guns are created equal. Due to a combination of availability, portability and criminal usage the following five types of guns are the country's most dangerous. School Shootings: Widely Reported Tragedies Since 2000 - Using firearm trace data from the ATF, as well as FBI homicide records, we determined the types of guns most often recovered from crime scenes and/or used in murders. The numbers are stark: According to the FBI's 2012 Crime in the US data, nearly 70 percent of homicides for which the FBI received weapons data involved the use

It had to come sometime, and it came in one very bad week for the Democrats: that the many big problems with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama finally grew too great for the press to ignore. Obama in his own different way is heading towards Nixon-like levels of weirdness, as, beaten down by the failures regarding his ventures, he appears to have quit his own job. A.B. Stoddard of the Hill says in effect he has stopped being president and chooses to live in a world of his own, shutting out the problems that have become overwhelming, giving dinners where he talks

Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has warned all of his colleagues in Congress that President Barack Obama’s new immigration strategy—his plans to legalize millions of illegal alien adults through executive power—could destroy America as we know it. “I write to inform you of a development that threatens the foundation of our constitutional Republic,” Sessions, Congress’s top immigration hawk, wrote in a letter that was hand-delivered to all 535 members of Congress on Monday and provided exclusively to Breitbart News. Sessions cites a recent report from the National Journal, in which reporter Major Garrett detailed how, despite the ongoing

Attorney General Eric Holder encouraged Americans not to forget race while working for justice and equality in their country. “As it stands, our society is not yet color blind -- nor should it be -- given the disparities that still afflict and divide us.” Holder explained, “We must be color brave, and we must never forget that all are made better and more prosperous if all are given equal opportunities.” Holder made his remarks during a speech at Howard University on Tuesday for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Civil Rights Act. “We must take into account not only the

WASHINGTON — It was an enduring image of his presidency: a chastened Bill Clinton walking his dog while wife Hillary keeps her distance as the family leaves town at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal — but it was all part of a contrived public-repentance campaign, according to a new book. With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that
