Clyburn ‘Sick and Tired of Pleasantries’

Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.), blasting the other side of the aisle for a Senate block of the minimum wage bill, said he’s “sick and tired of having these pleasantries bandied about when people are going hungry.” “They are just absolutely against doing anything that would benefit working men and women. They are — they saw the rush to put this big tax cuts for the wealth of people in the House budget to deny a minimum wage increase on the Senate for working men and women,” the assistant minority leader said of congressional Republicans on MSNBC. “They are doing a

Of course rather than blame his messiah Obama for the economic collapse in this country he must blame the Republicans. MessNBC is more than willing to allow him to perpetuate these outrageous lies. I´m sick and tired of lying, corrupt Democrats like Clyburn!

Yes, people are going hungry, because the socialist policies that have been happening since 2008 are killing our country.

Obviously, Clyburn is not one of them. (Going Hungry) Maybe he can cut back a bit and share what remains of his food with those in need.

And the rest of America is sick and tired of the whining of Congressmen like Clyburn who see EVERYTHING as a race issue.

Clyburn claimed that denial of a minimum wage increase was "absolutely against doing anything that would benefit working men and women" when, in fact, working men and women would benefit most from policies that encourage creation of more JOBS. The CBO clearly said that an increase in the minimum wage would cause a LOSS of jobs.

Clyburn should acknowledge the failure of the economic policies of Obama and Congressional Democrats and propose that the REAL culprits admit their failures and change course.

Wages are low and unemployment is high because of the policies of our president and congress. The inflationary actions of the Fed have truly helped the rich while driving up prices for the poor and middle class. Minimum wage will only cause more harm. An expanding economy will bring lower wages up. But then people wouldn´t have to rely on government, would they?

Work is not welfare. An employER (remember those guys?) cannot give a worker money based on gov´t mandates that that worker´s presumed standard of living. Some jobs´ pay scales are better suited for workers who are NOT trying to make a living at. That would be part timers, students, new workers without experience, low skilled. If they keep mandating more in wages, benefits, restrictive regulations - those jobs disappear. When a widgets costs more to make than they can be sold for - BOOM! China wins. Anymore, that´s who I think our President is rooting for.

Judging from the target population there is (way) more than enough food available.

Allow me to rewrite this propaganda:
‘Sick and Tired of Pleasantries’ with Demogoguecrats ‘When People are Going without Jobs"

People are going without jobs because of (1) the failure of the past two administrations´ to curb the import of poor people taking many of those jobs, (2) the shutting down of certain energy industries to satisfy the religious beliefs of certain "believers", (3) new, onerous regulations that do nothing but encourage existing businesses to downsize (foremost among them the ACA but there are others).

If someone is going hungry they are not spending their food stamps on food. If Clyburn thinks that happens now, imagine how much worse it will be if everything in the store goes up 5%. A lot of entry level workers in grocery stores get minimum wage. For them to get pay increases, the price of the groceries must go up. Imagine how hungry they will be with 5% less food.

President Obama on Wednesday announced new sanctions against Russia for its involvement in Ukraine and other foreign policy moves in response to several international concerns across the Middle East. "We live in a complex world and at a challenging time," Obama said from the White House. "And none of these challenges lend themselves to quick or easy solutions, but all of them require American leadership. And as commander in chief, I’m confident that if we stay patient and determined, that we will, in fact, meet these challenges." Transcripts of congressional testimony released by the House Armed Services committee are the latest in a growing body of evidence that the 2012 Benghazi attacks were premeditated. Gen. "Given the precision of the attack, it was a well-trained mortar crew," Ham said, adding the mortar strike showed "a degree of sophistication and military training that is relatively unusual and certainly, I think, indicates that

A month before former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin called for President Barack Obama to be impeached on the pages of Breitbart News over his lawlessness on illegal immigration, Obama was already concerned that his unilateral actions on immigration could warrant impeachment. He even kind of joked with pro-amnesty activists not to push him to do something that would get him impeached. Here´s how Politico describes what occurred during a private meeting between Obama and pro-amnesty activists last month: President Barack Obama listened to immigration activists run through a long wish list of executive actions – then added a request of

Despite evidence that the current border crisis is at least partly the result of its previous executive action on immigration, the White House decided it was merely a "public relations problem" and moved forward with plans to issue further executive actions along similar lines. The New York Times has a piece out today which contains some new insight into the White House´s thinking about the border crisis and how it relates to the President´s stated goal of taking action on immigration without Congress. The Times article states, "In the days leading up to the Rose Garden speech, there were discussions in the

The central weakness of the Republican´s political position in Washington has been on vivid display as the situation at the southern border has devolved into a complete crisis. As tens of thousands of foreign nationals overwhelm the border and render our sovereign boundary meaningless, Republicans in DC are tinkering with legislative fixes they say will address the situation.
