Is The CFPB A Real-Life Version
of Scandal´s B613?

Breitbart Instablog, by David Webb

Original Article

The popular television series Scandal has developed a cult-like following in recent years, but how accurate are the show’s story lines? Are there firms that are able to “fix” politicians’ messes? Can elections be rigged by tampering with voting machines? Do agencies exist that operate outside the boundaries of traditional government oversight with unlimited budgets? In at least one case, the answer is yes. In the fictional Washington of ABC’s Scandal, B613 is a super-secret spy agency that operates outside the bounds of the federal government, using its assets to “protect the Republic.” Similar to B613, the real-life Consumer Financial Protection

I LOVE Scandal. I´ve watched it from the beginning and I DO believe that what happens on that show DOES happen in Washington. I´m not at all surprised at the similarity of Bg13 and a real life agency in Washington today. If you haven´t watched it, catch up this summer by watching it on Comcast "on demand" or online. I highly recommend it!

To answer the question in the article: "Can elections be rigged by tampering with voting machines?" The answer is YES.

It was reported from a bunch of precincts in 2012. However, nothing was done because the RNC signed an agreement with the DNC that no one would contest the results of the election. And that is why the GOP is called the Stupid Party!

The first time I watched the show, Olivia Pope and her staff were cleaning up an office after a political murder(assassination). It brought to mind the Vince Foster "suicide" clean up. They were right on!

How about bring back the

Last January 2013, then Defense Secretary, Leon Panetta, ordered the Joint Chiefs of Staff to study the feasibility of opening all military jobs to women by 2016. This would include more than 200,000 jobs that make up the core of the ground-level combat force in the Army and the Marine Corps. Opponents of women in combat argue, rightly in my opinion, that the military´s physical standards must not be compromised to expand access because our military´s fighting effectiveness is at stake. Hauling 50 pounds of equipment while walking 20 miles is a standard that must not be demoted as it

The banning of LA Clipper owner, Donald Sterling, from the NBA for life, for allegedly making racist remarks, calls for a long overdue debate about the meaning of racism. I did not listen to the secret audio tape of Mr. Sterling so I can´t comment on his remarks. However, the fact that he is a billionaire that pays millions of dollars for black players on his team disqualifies him as a racist. Los Angeles Clippers guard J.J. Redick now says that owner Donald Sterling was hesitant to sign him last summer because he´s white. Sterling may be a bigot but there is

The Washington Post reports on the Obama administration’s latest effort to sow global warming panic: The satellite images viewed by President Barack Obama before a meeting with eight Western governors were stark, showing how snowpack in California’s mountains had shrunk by 86 percent in a single year. “It was a ‘Houston, we have a problem’ moment,” recalled White House counselor John Podesta, one of two aides who briefed the president that February day. Obama mentioned the images several times as he warned the governors that political leaders had no choice but to cope with global warming’s impact. This is beyond stupid. Seriously: is

Emily Letts, a counselor at a New Jersey abortion clinic, decided to film her own abortion and post it on YouTube as a form of positive inspiration to women who are contemplating having the procedure but worry that they might feel guilty afterward. Letts has no such guilt. She recalls the procedure with fondness. She even describes it as “birth-like,” and said it made her feel good, just like giving birth would. Letts, whose job involves encouraging women to have abortions, sees her own abortion as an entirely positive experience, and hopes the video will prove to be both instructional and morally

In the fall of 2010, the nasty midterms drawing to a close, Michelle Obama was contemplating her next move. Two years into her tenure as first lady, the breathless fixation on guest lists and china selections was subsiding into routine, and she wanted a plan for the rest of her husband’s time in office. Of course, her calendar would never lack for National Hostess duties—the obligatory social functions outlined in binders left by Laura Bush’s team. She had already launched Let’s Move!, the childhood obesity initiative, and Joining Forces, a program to help military families and veterans, was also in

One local resident even says, “Barack Obama will go down as the worst president ever elected.” The Chicago resident below says: “With the president setting aside all these funds for immigrants and forsaken African-American community and African-American families, I think that’s a disgrace. And Barack is from the heart of 55th in the City of Chicago… He will probably go down as the worst president ever elected. Bill Clinton was the African-American president.“

Sarah Palin wants to impeach Barack Obama. In an op-ed article published last week, the former Republican vice presidential nominee declared that the crisis on the southern border (where young illegal immigrants are being detained) "is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, ´No, mas´." The Republican Speaker of the House, John Boehner, thinks that´s loco. (Technically, he said, "I disagree".) For Republicans hoping to avoid the kind of drama that might derail what looks to be a very good midterm election year, this kind of call is both a nuisance and a trend. In a world where there are no

“Without borders, there is no nation,” former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin wrote in a Breitbart op-ed this week. “Obama knows this. Opening our borders to a flood of illegal immigrants is deliberate. This is his fundamental transformation of America ... President Obama´s rewarding of lawlessness, including his own, is the foundational problem here ... It´s time to impeach; and on behalf of American workers and legal immigrants of all backgrounds, we should vehemently oppose any politician on the Left or Right who would hesitate in voting for articles of impeachment.” That this desperate cry for attention (dangling participle and all)

Not counting instances when he quoted a letter from a citizen or cited dialogue from a movie, President Barack Obama used the first person singular--including the pronouns "I" and "me" and the adjective "my"--199 times in a speech he delivered Thursday vowing to use unilateral executive action to achieve his policy goals that Congress would not enact through the normal, constitutional legislative process. “It is lonely, me just doing stuff,” Obama said at the speech in Austin, Texas, according to the official transcript and video posted on the White House website. “I’m just telling the truth now,” Obama told the

It’s true what they say about Michelle Obama. She has amazing arms. I saw this up close when she unfurled her bare right limb in front of me Thursday night, while the two of us were doing tapas at the jumping Barcelona on 14th Street NW. Clearly the first lady works out, clearly she moisturizes and clearly L’Oréal should hire her as its pitchwoman after she leaves 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. “Ma’am, you rock,” I wanted to tell her, even though I was seated a table away from her party of eight, which included White House chef Sam Kass, and was

Angry Democrats in Nebraska said the Obama Outhouse float in the 4th of July parade may have been racist. So now Eric Holder is looking into it. BOSTON — Comedian Bill Cosby and his wife Camille are supporting protesters marching across Massachusetts in opposition to Kinder Morgan’s proposed natural gas pipeline. The couple, who own hundreds of acres of protected land in Shelburne Falls, about 100 miles west of Boston, have been opposed to the pipeline since the company notified them last winter of plans to survey their land. Through a spokesman, the couple said it was “astounding” that New England’s six governors support the proposal, which they said shows “disrespect for humans, flora and fauna.” Supporters of the $3.75 billion Northeast Pipeline Extension Project say it will provide
