Where´s My $2,500? Just 8% Say
Obamacare Lowered Their Health Costs

Breitbart Big Government, by Wynton Hall

Despite President Barack Obama and Democrat´s bold promise that Obamacare would lower the typical American family´s health insurance premiums by $2,500, a devastating new Washington Post/ABC News poll finds that just 8% of Americans report lower health care costs because of Obamacare. Worse for Democrats, 47% of Americans say their health insurance costs have gone up because of the president´s signature legislative achievement. As Breitbart News reported on Sunday, the "Where is my $2,500?" question stands to upend vulnerable Democrats in the upcoming midterm elections. While President Barack Obama´s Politifact "Lie of the Year"--"If you like your health care plan,

This controversy proves just how shallow these Obama-worshiping toadies are. They didn´t understand that the whole scam was illegal, unconstitutional and threatened to destroy the economy as well as the best healthcare system in the world. They just want their lousy $2,500.

We are governed by fools who were selected by fools.

Who are these 8%?

The best response the White House can use is Eric Stratton´s line from Animal House: "You effed up! You trusted us!"

That "$2500" was supposed to be an AVERAGE.

What I love is what the reaction of the two Dem reps to the question about what happened to that $2500. They laughed. Why did they laugh? Because they thought it was funny that anyone believed that the ACA would actually save them money.

The new self-serve beer stations at Minnesota´s Target Field might herald the future of stadium concessions - but they are hardly the most incredible food or drink options available nationwide. While the Twins basked in the glory of the latest ballpark innovation which debuted on Sunday, the rest of the country carried on pushing the boundaries of game day fast-food away from simple peanuts and hot dogs. However, nowadays a game is not complete without a selection of calorific monstrosities that would turn the stomach of the carb-conscious and healthy, but delights the average fan. And in that spirit of

WASHINGTON — The White House likes to use a phrase of tingling adventure to describe the president’s recent penchant for wandering the country talking to people: “The bear is loose.” There are three problems with this unbearable metaphor: Barack Obama is not in captivity, he’s not a bear, and he’s not loose. As Voltaire said of the Holy Roman Empire, it was “neither Holy, nor Roman, nor an empire.” When our whippetlike president travels on Air Force One from staged photo-op to staged photo-op and then to coinciding fund-raiser to coinciding fund-raiser, encased by the White House travel behemoth and

Thanks to our friends at Washington Free Beacon, you’ll never have to watch a Barack Obama speech again. Reason being, this 76-second video shows you everything he’s going to say. He will: Tell you it’s great to be back in whatever town he’s in. Tell you to have a seat – twice. Appreciate the introduction. Love you back. Recommend building more roads and bridges. Say the economy grows from the middle out. Say the wealthy have to “pay their fair share.” Blame Republicans in Congress for everything. Encourage you to vote rather than boo.

Bad news for chocolate lovers -- your favorite indulgence is about to get more expensive. Hershey Co., the nation´s leading candy producer, said Tuesday it is raising prices of chocolates such as Kisses, Reese´s, Mounds bars and other candies by 8% to combat increasing food, utility and transportation costs. The costs for cocoa, dairy and nuts have "increased meaningfully since the beginning of the year," said Michele Buck, president of Hershey´s North America, explaining that prices of these commodities "have been volatile and remain at levels that are above historical averages." Cocoa futures jumped to almost a three-year high this

President Barack Obama sent thrills up the collective legs of his supporters (and a few journalists) last week when he quoted Martin Scorsese’s The Departed during a campaign-style event. “I’m the guy doing my job. You must be the other guy,” Obama said, referring to congressional Republicans. “It is lonely me just doing stuff,” the president continued. “I’d love it if the Republican did stuff, too.” It is worth noting that the president resorted to this bravado while he was ignoring calls from members of his party to see the border with his own eyes. The president’s answer to that

The road was melting. Extreme heat from thermal features at Yellowstone National Park, created by the active volcano below the park, caused oil to bubble on a road surface Wednesday and damage it. Park crews had to close and repair the 3.3-mile loop road that takes visitors past White Dome Geyser, Great Fountain Geyser and Firehole Lake. Blame it on the Yellowstone Volcano. Yellowstone National Park -- a UNESCO World Heritage Site -- sits atop one of the world´s largest volcanoes, and some of the thermal spots have damaged the popular Firehole Lake Drive. The park features over 10,000 thermal

Applicants who were denied concealed carry permits by a special review board before Thursday, when the Illinois State Police changed the rules governing the board’s procedures, are not guaranteed to benefit from the new rules, a state police spokeswoman said Tuesday. Under the new system, the board, which had previously operated in secret, must notify an applicant if a law enforcement agency lodges a credible objection to his or her application and must give the applicant 10 days to rebut the objection. But for the more than 800 applicants who have already been denied, only those who took the matter

Updated 5:25 p.m. | House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Darrell Issa has refused to drop his subpoena of top White House political adviser David Simas to discuss Obama’s revived political office, despite a lengthy briefing Tuesday by White House staff that Issa did not attend. Simas is the director of the remade Office of Political Strategy and Outreach, which the White House contends complies with the Hatch Act limiting the political activities of civil servants. “The Clinton White House, Bush White House, and other administrations before them have all faced congressional oversight of political activity supported by taxpayer funds,”

The Obamas might have to reprint a lot of expensive stationary if several members of the Washington, D.C., City Council get their way. The council, in an attention-getting effort to push the issue of D.C. statehood, is looking to rename 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, and if the measure passes, the president’s new address would be located on “D.C. Statehood Now Boulevard. But don’t hold your breath. “The 1500 and 1600 blocks of Pennsylvania Avenue NW — I have proposed to be renamed to ‘D.C. Statehood Now Boulevard,” Councilmember Yvette Alexander told ABC News. The proposal was changed from its original name

The greatest conspiracy in world history is being carried out by the real-life “Manchurian Candidate”: President Barack Obama. My definition of a “Manchurian Candidate” is a person who hates everything America stands for and whose goal is to win the presidency for the express purpose of destroying the greatest nation, the greatest economic system, and the greatest middle class in world history. That, my friends, describes Obama. I’m not basing it on rumors or innuendo. I’m basing it on the facts. I know liberals hate facts, but bear with me. So here are a few, which I lay out more

Marvel Entertainment announced on ABC talk show “The View” that Thor, the God of Thunder himself, is no longer worthy of wielding Mjolnir, the mystical Asgardian hammer. A woman — not yet identified — will now wield it, and that means we’re getting a female Thor. How did Thor become unworthy? Did he lie? Did he abandon his morals? He must have. “Only those of sound moral character and integrity may lift Mjolnir,” according to the Marvel Universe wiki. Without it, as we saw in the 2011 Marvel movie “Thor,” he loses much of his strength. Whoever wields the practically

Texas lawmakers responsible for redistricting the state’s legislative boundaries discriminated against Hispanic voters and tried to protect Republican incumbents, the U.S. Justice Department argued in a federal court in San Antonio on Monday. The redistricting efforts under fire are the state’s 2011 U.S. and state House districts, which were already thrown out by federal judges in favor of a map that included more Democratic-leaning districts, according to the Associated Press. Attorneys for the state denied the accusations during remarks for the case, arguing there was no concerted effort to discriminate and boundaries were drawn the best they could considering they
