U.S. Military Ordered to Examine
Hairstyle Rules for Offensive Language

Responding to a complaint from the Congressional Black Caucus, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel on Tuesday ordered the military services to review their grooming standards for African-American women. Hagel told the CBC that he has given the services 30 days to “review the definitions of authorized and prohibited hairstyles contained in each of their respective policies and revise any offensive language.” At issue is Army Regulation 670-1, published last month, which bans certain hairstyles, including dreadlocks, twists, and hair that sticks out more than two inches from the scalp. In an April 10 letter to Hagel, female members of the CBC

This is what happens when the DOD is more concerned about sensitivity and offending someone rather than defending our national security. The Democrats have done more to destroy our military since Obama has come into office than in the last 50 years.

Will the Congressonal White Caucus come to aid of any caucasion member of the military that wants to wear a mullet? Thats how silly this is.
The military is about fighting , not hair styles. Hair is supposed to be kept short out of the way for a reason and its not about sensitivity.

You know that Putin´s military doesn´t have these issues to worry about which just might mean they´re stronger than we are in more than the obvious ways of equipment, training, etc.

Can we swap the US Military for 200,000 residents of San Francisco now?

The San Franciscans are more disciplined and conservative than the PC-addled Pentagon. They have fewer drag queens per capita and probably own more camouflage.

Liberal groups and congressional Democrats are moving forward with plans to reform the Religious Freedom Restoration Act in the wake of the Supreme Court´s ruling Monday in Burwell v. Hobby Lobby. Originally passed in 1993 with overwhelming bipartisan support, the law — on which the case was decided — forbids government from imposing significant burdens on a person’s religious convictions, unless that burden is in furtherance of a compelling government interest and pursued by the least restrictive means possible. Some Democratic lawmakers who supported the bill in 1993 issued statements Monday condemning the Supreme Court´s interpretation. Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.,

If things were bad between Tea Party activists and the Mississippi Republican establishment before last Tuesday´s Senate primary runoff, it´s about to get a lot uglier. State Senator Chris McDaniel defeated Sen. Thad Cochran in the first round of the Senate GOP primary but then the aging incumbent staged an unexpected surge to win the run-off. Cochran´s surge was fueled by cross-over Democrats voting in the GOP run-off and before the votes were all counted, rumors were rife about walk-around money and other voting irregularities. Vote-buying and news buying Earlier this week, Breitbart News posted a story based on claims of a black

President Obama´s approval numbers are in the cellar, a new Quinnipiac University survey just dubbed him the worst president in six decades, so maybe it´s no surprise that analyst and pollster John Zogby is asking: “Is it all over for him?” Sign Up for the Paul Bedard newsletter! Armed with new numbers that are depressing to an already deflated White House, Zogby on Wednesday found that most don´t believe that Obama can lead the country and he compared the president to Bill Clinton following the Democrat´s sweeping 1994 Congressional loss and when former White House Correspondent Brit Hume asked if

The AFL-CIO wants President Barack Obama to unilaterally give work permits and temporary amnesty to most of the country´s illegal immigrants. On Tuesday, a day after Obama used a Rose Garden speech to say he would try to change as many immigration laws as possible on his own, the labor group that purportedly protects workers recommended that the Obama administration enact four executive actions. Its top recommendation was for the Department of Homeland Security to "grant affirmative relief with work authorization to individuals who are low priorities for removal or eligible for prosecutorial discretion under existing DHS policies." The Federal Election Commission is looking into whether Mississippi Conservatives PAC violated campaign finance law in its bid to help re-elect Mississippi U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran. The inquiry, sent as a Request for Additional Information, or RFAI, provides another bit of drama in a heated primary battle in which Cochran narrowly defeated state senator Chris McDaniel. The FEC, which monitors spending in federal elections, notified the political action committee that it may have failed to file one or more “24 hour reports,” which track “last minute” independent expenditures. Political action committees are required to file the reports within the 24-hour window for any

(WISCONSIN)– The United States government is actually suing a private American business for discriminating against Hispanic and Asian employees because they don’t speak English on the job. It involves a Green Bay Wisconsin metal and plastic manufacturer that fired a group of Hmong and Hispanic workers over their English skills, “even though those skills were not needed to perform their jobs,” according to the feds. More importantly, forcing employees to speak English in the U.S. violates Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, says the Obama administration. While Americans get ready for the thousands of fireworks shows that will be occurring across the country this weekend, Republicans are warning that pending federal water regulations could ruin fireworks displays next year. The Environmental Protection Agency is trying to expand its authority under the Clean Water Act. Republicans warn that the agency’s proposal to expand the definition of “waters of the United States” could allow the EPA to regulate bodies of water on private property. Republicans are now warning that EPA water rules could threaten fireworks by allowing environmental activists to sue and shut down shows across the country.

A government-contracted security force threatened to arrest doctors and nurses if they divulged any information about the contagion threat at a refugee camp housing illegal alien children at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, sources say. In spite of the threat, several former camp workers broke their confidentiality agreements and shared exclusive details with me about the dangerous conditions at the camp. They said taxpayers deserve to know about the contagious diseases and the risks the children pose to Americans. I have agreed to not to disclose their identities because they fear retaliation and prosecution.

Kelly grilled him on how the Weather Underground “declared a state of war against the U.S. government” and encouraged violence. Today, the Supreme Court ruled in the nationally followed Hobby Lobby case. The for-profit corporations that brought these cases to the Supreme Court—a craft store and a cabinet manufacturer—argued that the corporations’ religious convictions should excuse them from compensating their employees through the comprehensive health insurance required by law. Specifically, these private employers sought to exclude insurance coverage of several forms of birth control because, contrary to medical and scientific evidence, the corporations’ owners believe some birth control causes abortions. The Affordable Care Act already includes special arrangements for houses of worship and religious non-profits, like schools and hospitals. Houses

The waves of rockets from Gaza and IDF retaliations have picked up since the teens were kidnapped and the Israeli crackdown began. Hamas has not claimed responsibility for launching the rockets but Israel holds them responsible for everything coming out of Gaza. The Israel Defense
