Welcome back, Mr. President; Here´s
your worst job approval ever

For consuming a week of presidential time and Lord knows how many millions of borrowed dollars, Barack Obama´s admirable Asian adventure was not terribly productive. The much-anticipated trade agreement with Japan fell through, as trade talks with Japan are wont to do. Obama did sign a new base agreement with the Philippines. But on the home-front John Kerry pulled one of his own "bitter clinger" moments, saying revealing things he shouldn´t about Israel. [Snip] Not that Obama cares about polls you understand, but there are also some really discouraging new numbers for him this morning.

Allow me to speculate for a moment.
Let´s say Magic Johnson wanted to buy the LA clippers at a discounted price and also wanted to make sure the NBA approved of a black owner of the clippers.
and let´s say Magic was able to convince his girlfriend, a mixed race bimbo, to set up a secret taping with her sugar daddy.
not impossible, hey?

That or something like it sounds like a possibility #1.It seems unlikely she did it for her own enrichment because she could have cashed in a long time ago without going public.

Obama is not seen as trustworthy anywhere in the world. Why would anyone make an agreement with him. His domestic policy is in shambles, his foreign policy is in shambles, and yet the media in this country will prop him up. His numbers could be 5% approve and that would be 4% too high.

Obama in Asia one side of his mouth stating that the USA is increasing more sanctions on Russia. News just published that Afghanistan wants and needs 90 to 100 attack helicopters to the tune of a Billion Dollars not including maintenance and repair. However the helicopters will be made in and supported by Russia. Paid for by the USA. No wonder the unions are getting increasingly skeptical .

Usually when a President goes on a very public foreign trip, it gives him a big boost in his approval ratings. Leave to Obama to make history by having his approval rating tank.

Way to go there Mr. President!

You may have noticed you couldn't avoid noticing Texas Gov. Rick Perry on television in recent days talking about the border crisis and the worsening illegal immigrant situation. He's been on virtually all the major networks at various times of day speaking to millions about this month's hot issue that he knows intimately as the longest-serving governor in Texas history. Iowa's Joni Ernst gives the Republican Party's Weekly Remarks.
Hello, this is Joni Ernst. I’m a mother and grandmother, a soldier and proud to be Iowa’s Republican nominee for U.S. Senate. I get asked all the time what made me want to join the military. And the answer is simple. When I was attending college, I went on an agricultural exchange to the Soviet Union. I saw what a nation without freedom looks like. I saw what happens to people when they lose their liberty. When I came home, I decided that it wasn’t enough for me to simply enjoy freedom and liberty. I had to do my part

President Obama's weekly remarks
Hi, everybody. This week, I spent some time in Colorado and Texas, talking with people about what’s going on in their lives. One was Elizabeth Cooper, a college junior this fall. She wrote to tell me something I hear often: how hard it is for middle-class families like hers to afford college. And she shared something I know many of you feel when you wonder what’s going on in Washington. She said she feels “not significant enough to be addressed, not poor enough for people to worry [about], and not rich enough to be cared about.” I ran for President to fight for Americans just like Elizabeth — people who work hard, do everything right,

When Barack Obama was first running for the White House, way back in 2007 when a billion dollars seemed like a lot of money, he presented himself as the Great Uniter. Someone whose freshness, mixed race and background would bridge America´s inherent diversities and even end the "bitter, partisan divide" afflicting Washington. [Snip] At one time or another Obama has pitted Americans against each other by class, education, income, union membership, birth control use, tax status, climate beliefs, gender and wealth. This morning comes a Gallup Poll revealing that Obama splits Americans by religion.

There’s nothing like the Fourth of July, a day to bask in America’s glory and to dream of better days ahead. That’s part of the genius of the Declaration of Independence. A land where the people rule, and where the common man or woman can advance themselves and the common good. Nowhere in the Declaration of Independence does the historic document call itself the Declaration of Independence. No matter. The 1,317 words in this enduring and then-revolutionary statement of principles and universal human rights were largely written by Thomas Jefferson between June 8 and June 28, 1776. [Snip] No surprise, the 33-year-old lawyer had a reputation as an intellectual, a skilled writer, multilingual speaker and staunch democrat. Indeed, it was Jefferson as POTUS No. 3 who introduced the political handshake as a gesture of equality among American citizens. The revered Gen. Washington deemed such common contact beneath the office.

At his first Cabinet meeting of 2014 -- a "Year of Action," Obama promised -- the president declared, "I´ve got a pen and I´ve got a phone." That meant Obama intended to go around Congress, the equal branch of government he once vowed to work with, to get stuff done. [Snip] White House strategists arranged public appearances for Obama to look assertive, active, more vows on immigration and the economy, for instance. Everywhere Obama vows to circumvent the legislative branch, despite court warnings and a threatened House lawsuit over unrestrained executive actions. "Sue me!" he defiantly said Tuesday.
