No, Sean Hannity, you can’t distance
yourself from Cliven Bundy

Washington Post, by Eric Wemple

Original Article

Posted By:Pluperfect, 4/28/2014 10:03:07 AM

It was a historic bit of cable-news thematic knitting: On his eponymous Fox News program last night, Sean Hannity last night managed to pull off a 10-minute segment comprehending Cliven Bundy’s racism, eminent domain, Benghazi and Jon Stewart. Teeing up the segment was the news development on Thursday that Cliven Bundy, the Nevada rancher that Hannity has supported for weeks via numerous segments on “Hannity,” had said some racist remarks in the presence of New York Times reporter Adam Nagourney. Speaking of “Negroes,” Bundy proclaimed, ““They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned

To me, the interview comments Bundy made don´t change anything at all about his situation, neither better nor worse.

Our land is our land - even if a gay is defending it, even if a feminazi is defending it - even if an old country boy that doesn´t speak "metrosexual" is defending it.

Nice try, WaPo. I couldn´t care less about whether Bundy had some opinions against the results of welfare (Dem devised)on black culture compared to swat teams, snipers and misuse of force by the federal(and recently other locals) government on a civil dispute. Now we know what ammo was necessary for government agencies...attacks on citizens...Shades of Hitler´s Germany.

The Nevada ranch episode is about a US Government agency exercising gestapo tactics. The bundy remarks enabled the leftist press to change the subject. I am fearful that obama and holder seek to escalate tensions and carry out more military style confrontations.

Sean Hannity is not smart enough to handle this situation. When the sound bytes came out he didn´t bother to go to the source material, even knowing how the left edits and spins.

He shouldn´t be trying to distance himself from Bundy. He should be framing the conversation in the context it was always meant. This is about corruption in federal government, local government and in one astonishingly nasty senator.

If Hannity can´t handle this episode he needs to retire.

I wonder if the author, Mr. Wemple, has succeeded in preventing people from squeezing the Charmin?

I think what Mr. Bundy wanted to say was that blacks were happier and healthier under segregation than they are today. They´ve turned urban cities into war zones, abandoned familihood, glamorize pimping and killing cops. Sure, compare the black music of the 40´s through 60´s with today and hear for yourself.

What Bundy said is the truth but he couldn´t frame his statement to fit the ears of the PC police, commie, attack media. There are more original patriots who fought and formed this great country with backwoods common sense much like Mr. Bundy.
I don´t listen to Sean Hannity with his quick fire, motor mouth that he delivers daily from talking points he steals from Rush Limbaugh. I listened to the complete dialog from Bundy and he´s right but delivered it a little crude so the communist media could have a field day ´spinning´ (lying) about it.

“Bundy’s vile racism” smears the WaPo writer . . . informing the world that he, Erik Wemple, is yet another low-information voter ? It appears that Wemple derives his ‘news’ solely from the mainstream media and that he eschews the findings of authentic investigative journalists such as those who write for Alex Jones.

Not a single MSM source reports that the New York Times allegedly EDITED that footage, that the New York Times allegedly EXCISED certain of Bundy’s words from his statement.

Google for some of Bundy’s excised words from, for example, this excerpt cited by Paul Joseph Watson:

“We’ve progressed quite a bit from that day until now, and sure don’t want to go back; we sure don’t want the colored people to go back to that point; we sure don’t want the Mexican people to go back to that point; and we can make a difference right now by taking care of some of these bureaucracies . . . .”

You’ll find that even Raw Story conceded (while arguing against its own concession) that the New York Times (allegedly) edited the Bundy footage.

And about Hannity’s dodge . . . perhaps if he wasted fewer hours debating whose pet has the cutest face, he, too, would have more time to ensure he is an informed voter.

No, Washington Post, you can’t distance yourself from your own ugly bias.

I took a look back at the current crisis of illegal Central American minors in the Weekly Standard article “Disorder at the border,” published in this past Friday in the new issue of the magazine. In retrospect, I think that the events of the preceding days fixed these issues in the public mind and culminated in President Obama’s notable address following his meeting in Dallas with Governor Perry. Obama had resisted the meeting with Perry, as he resisted visiting the border along the Rio Grande. In Dallas and Austin for big-buck fundraisers with his conspicuously wealthy friends, Obama was ultimately shamed

Conventional wisdom is clear that the next Congress has a considerable likelihood of being a Republican Congress. That same consensus also holds that if the GOP does indeed take control, the next two years will be marked by confrontation with the White House and even less actual legislative action than the present Congress has accomplished. To be fair, there is some compelling logic behind these conclusions. President Obama has clearly opted out of the role of governing through legislation. He has become the most defensive president since at least World War II, blaming the Congress not just for all the ills of the

Many have parsed what President Barack Obama’s critics mean when they charge that the handling of the crisis on America’s southern border is “Obama’s Katrina.” The president’s supporters are quick to note that this comparison is misleading and unfair. Hurricane Katrina drowned an entire urban center. American citizens died waiting for federal and state aid. Thousands of Americans, mostly of meager means, were trapped in a dying city. Some of them did not make it out alive waiting for their countrymen to save them. In that sobering moment, much of the promise of the United States was betrayed. It is
