Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling tells his girlfriend, V. Stiviano, that he doesn´t want her posting pictures of minorities or bringing African-Americans to his games, according to explosive audio obtained by TMZ Sports. This includes NBA legend Magic Johnson, whom Stiviano was seen with in a photo on Instagram, which infuriated Sterling. Magic told TMZ Sports, "It´s a shame that Donald Sterling feels that way about African-Americans." During the alleged argument with Stiviano, who herself is black and Mexican, he asked, "Why are you taking pictures with minorities? Why?" Stiviano: "People call you and tell you that I have black

Sounds like someone is a little insecure. I guess he doesn´t want people thinking that he doesn´t measure up.

How does a young, attractive lady enter into a relationship with a guy twice her age (at least), with the looks of an old shoe?

Sterling publicizes his wife in every one of his full page ads for his "charity affairs", ads run at huge expense in local papers to advertise his self-purported philanthropy and community activity. The person he is always promoting is Donald Sterling.

Apparently Sterling´s wife is suing the girlfriend for all the money & gifts he´s given her, says she´s a shyster that makes a living out of dating rich older men and has a number of aliases. Racist or not, she knew it a long time ago and decided to use it.

My remark was so sarcastic it doesn´t need a s/o at the end.

Follow this analogy [and I have no idea whether Lloyd Marcus is married or single]: suppose Lloyd Marcus had a girlfriend or wife who was white and he told her that he didn´t want her seen with white people --Ted Cruz and Rand Paul for instance. Suppose it got out that Lloyd Marcus had said something like that.

When do you think we would hear the last of it? Sometime around early fall, 2017 is my guess.

#13, Lloyd Marcus has been happily married for years. His wife is white.

As to how long it would take to hear the last of him saying something like this to his wife, I´d say the last mention would be anytime his name were to be mentioned - in his obituary and each subsequent mention afterwards, if it served a political purpose.

I listened to the tape - what I heard was a black/hispanic woman, who is obviously a gold-digger, try as hard as she could to set up Donald Sterling. She probably has Robin Givens as her role model.

An intelligent person would say that she failed miserably as he got quite irate as she tried to call him a racist. The gold digger has been planning this a long time. If anything becomes of this, boycott the NBA and NFL and their gansta playa´s.

Sterling is trying to protect his brand, as he sees fit - that´s it. That is his right and he is not being racist. However, this is now considered racist by the racists.

A Republican Senate majority wouldn´t be able to fully repeal Obamacare, but it could force some pretty significant changes to the health care law. For now, the GOP isn´t talking much about what would come after Election Day. Its candidates are falling over themselves to pledge their support for full repeal -- which may well be a winning message in a campaign, but will be politically impossible even with the Senate majority. After all, President Obama will still be the president. But as the odds of a GOP takeover increase, a rough outline is starting to emerge of how Republicans would handle

While the move pleased many activists and politicians, Turley asks in a Washington Post article Sunday, is such social activism on the part of a federal agency really a good idea? "As federal agencies have grown in size and scope, they have increasingly viewed their regulatory functions as powers to reward or punish citizens and groups," Turley writes. "There is an obvious problem when the sanctioning of free exercise of religion or speech becomes a matter of discretionary agency action." In Turley´s view, some

The decision this past week by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to rescind federal trademark protections for the Redskins may ultimately tip the balance in the controversy over the 80-year-old name of Washington’s football team. If so, that would be a shame. Not because there’s insufficient reason to consider the name “disparaging to Native Americans,” as the patent office determined. Many of us recoil at the reference to skin color as a team identity. There are times that I have senior moments and forget certain names and events but after the recent Obama Iraq war implosion, I´m convinced most political pundits are suffering from them as well. What is unusual is that this revision of history is being committed by conservatives who should know better. The feeling is mutual. Obama made excuses not to talk to Bill, while the first lady privately sniped about Hillary. The least loved institution in America today is the U.S. Senate, and one of the reasons it is reviled is a zero-sum approach to women´s medical care. It´s time we changed that and adopt modern policies that make sense instead of using women´s medical issues as an election-year power play. One of the most rational ways for Washington to break this gridlock is to approve oral contraception for over-the-counter purchases by adults. Since "the pill" was first approved 44 years ago, it´s been one of the most proven and tested pharmaceuticals of our time. It is safe, reliable, effective, and presents
