Elizabeth Warren would crush Hillary,
and they both know it

Legal Insurrection, by William A. Jacobson

Original Article

Posted By:quantumman, 4/26/2014 7:08:19 AM

Forget the current polling as between Hillary and Elizabeth Warren. It pits Hillary against someone who “isn’t running.” For all my criticisms of Warren, and they are extensive, I am convinced that if she ran, she would crush Hillary, just as Obama did. Warren, as did Obama, has a unique ability to demagogue the core Democratic narrative of victimhood in ways that would make Hillary blush. She is more cunning than Hillary, more popular with the base, would bring an excitement the contrived Ready-for-Hillary movement could only dream of. Democrats may be “ready” for Hillary, but they don’t really want

Comments:
PIAPS is not inevitable. Crossover voting by Pubbies in the primaries could tilt the election for Warren. The DBM will be conflicted by having two women in the same contest.

Getting elected in a New England state is a bit different than getting elected when you face all of the voters. The level of socialism is still diluted by the South and mid-west vote. I don´t think Warren would do that well in a general election.

How sad is it for Democrat voters that their choices seem to be narrowing to Warren, Clinton and Biden? None of the three are young, fresh or inspirational. I still do not believe Hillary will run, but if she does, she will do better nationwide than either of the other two. Hillary took Texas away from Obama in the 2000 primary. That would indicate she has (or at least had) an appeal to Dem voters outside the northeast. If the Democrats want to run the 2016 campaign accusing Republicans of a "war on women", what better example of that war than Hillary, who covered for and defended her husband who was conducting his own guerrilla attacks on any female within groping distance? Elizabeth Warren reminds many of us of our most unfavorite school teacher, the one who lectured and waved fingers while relentlessly scanning the room for note-passers and gum-chewers. And Joe Biden, of course, is the silly, slightly off-center, distant relative that no one wanted to invite for Thanksgiving dinner.

Unfortunately, I agree with this article. Warren, despite her ludicrous lying about her ethnicity, does indeed excite her base in a way that Hillary no longer does, and very reminiscent of Obama.

The heartland and South may still have people with common sense, but the blue states and cities have officially gone full Marxist. And openly so. They are absolutely goofy giddy with the possibility of a full-fledged Marxist female President.

Do not underestimate Warren´s appeal. Her base doesn´t care one bit about her lying, nor about the ridicule we heap onto her.

Warren wouldn´t win so much as the Republicans would lose to her. It´s almost like a death wish. There is a 40%+ core in this country that votes for more government, more taxes, more redistribution, greater regulation of the wealth creation process. These will vote for anyone.
The challenge is to not lose the next 12%. That trick seems out of reach for McCain I, McCainII etc. Perry is looking better by the day...

You can bet it will be a woman on the ticket for 2016. Democrats intend to use the gender card. They had success with Mitt´s "book of women" and they just can´t resist going there. In fact, I believe they relish going there because they are nothing but demagogues. Either of these women would be disastrous and would continue racing down the path to Marxism, Communism, progressivism, or whatever you want to call it. It is going to take courage and smarts to outwit the gender police because they will take offense at any imagined slight. Obama was all about being black. Either of these "gals" will be all about being female.

It is scary that at least 40% of America would blindly vote for a political party, wherein advancement within that party is predicated on one being a combination of a congenital liar and a certifiable lunatic. As long as they keep giving freebies to people lacking in pride or ambition or knowledge, their ethical lapses will be duly ignored.

The article is right. In a nutshell, Hillary is just a screeching hag, and the Democrat party has found success in recent presidential elections with younger and more glib liars for the media to support. The media will certainly gloss over Warren´s ignorance the same way they have done with Zero.

Pray that America wakes up within the next two years.

I hope Warren does challenge and beat Hillary in a primary. A) What a slugfest. Hillary (and Bill) won´t go down easily and both will be very bruised. B) let the Democrats drift even further to the left with Warren and C) Warren has no recognition outside of liberal Northeast. This is good news, L-dotters!

If Hollywood were casting actors for a movie about a prestigious college (probably in the northeast)that portrays the back-stabbing and character assassinations that play out 24/7 in academia, could they find any two women more right for the parts of President of the college (that would be Hillary) and the slightly younger character who reports to the President (that would be Warren), whose character does everything possible to cut the Hillary character off at the pass (a little Indian stuff)to order to take over the Presidency of the university?

Hillary and Warren are meant to be in academia. It is a place where they´ve thrived and would thrive again. In many ways, they´ve never really left.

The good news is we are seeing the end of the Anti-war 1960´s hippie this will be their last election and the democrats don´t seem to be creating a farm team for the future. Their race politics is giving them urban centers where they can stuff ballots but the Rep. (type) Cummings of this world will never grow into leaders. The Blacks are going to eventually demand a black on the ticket whether qualified or not. The white liberals were immediately ousted from their long held districts when blacks used the race card on them. Cherokee Warren ran a very incompetent campaign in Mass. and barely won.

First I want extreme contrast between us and them. I think the public, except for the rabid left base, is tired of name calling and action will speak louder than words.
The second thing that would be accomplished would be the possible demise of the Clintons on the political stage.
Remember Clinton´s ace in the hole will be the new stage prop, a grandbaby.

It´s not good news. Warren could get the nomination, and she could win. Her mantra is that she´s "fighting for the middle class," and a lot of saps will buy it. She´s fighting to destroy the middle class, because that´s the only way you can install the kind of socialism she likes.

Remember her most famous comment: "You don´t own that."

As for the GOP, how will they fare any better? What are their choices?

Cruz
Christie
Lee
Jeb
Romney
Rubio

What about Trey Gowdey? He is one powerful intellect, ballsy Constitutionalist. Why have we heard nothing about him?

How about Jindal? Palin? (she wouldn´t dare, or would she?) Bachmann?

Any dark horses? Really, who have we got that´s got the "it" factor, and can actually win?

If our lineup looks anything like the Democrats´ stable, we are skee-rood.

This is a Republican wet dream. Warren will bring out the true nature of the real Democrat party, which is a socialist party. If she can get the nomination, it will be a Reagan-esque 1984 watershed election. There is no way an E. Warren can appeal to the middle of this county, despite the "fact" that she is from Oklahoma and an "Indian". Dems win Mass and maybe NY & Cal.

She´s not likable and the Heartland will not buy her brand period. If the GOP can´t politically decimate either of these two women, they are in serious trouble. This is why a woman like Nikki Haley or Susana Martinez, both from minority backgrounds, should be groomed for VP. There´s a lot to be said about a winning smile. Susana, my Governor radiates sunshine and votes when she smiles. People will vote for the person that´s most likable especially at the top of the ticket.

Either Elizabeth Warren or Hillary Clinton would be disasters as President. But, the Liberals/Progressive would vote for either one of them because she would be the first woman President just as they voted for Obama to be the first black President. What either would do, if elected, would not even be considered.

Elizabeth Warren, being less known, would have the advantage because she could successfully pretend to be what she is not, just like Obama did. Hillary´s undesirables are better known.

I would hope that the GOP would nominate a successful Governor. Governors have some experience as leaders of a government while legislators have not.

Please bear in mind that women don´t just view Hillary as a woman. They view her as A Woman Scorned. As far as we know Liz Warren isn´t in that category although it must be a brave soul indeed who can watch her exit the shower.

How many gallons of ink, pulped forests and broadcast hours have been devoted to infidelity? He´s Cheating. He Might Be Cheating. Take Our Quiz To See If He´s Cheating. Dealing With The Other Woman. What To Do After He Cheats. It´s Not The Sex, It´s The Betrayal. How To Save Your Relationship/Marriage etc. etc. Supermarket checkouts would be a dull place indeed if the magazines didn´t have female insecurity to exploit.

The point is that women love men but women fear and occasionally hate men because they represent stability and security but men have the potential to inflict great emotional pain.

Despite a sex life less active than weather systems on the moon, somehow Hilllary became a sympathetic figure in the wake of L´Affaire Lewinsky. The Ready For Hillary bunch aren´t the coeds who cheered Obama - they´re a load of bitter divorcees and spinsters who merely want to give manhood one good kicking (pun intentional).

Following the announcement of his election victory in India last Friday, India’s Prime Minister-elect took to his Twitter page to thank the many nations and world leaders who were quick to offer their congratulations on his massive, landslide win. To name but a few, Modi thanked by name the presidents and Prime Ministers of great-power countries like Shinzo Abe of Japan, Vladimir Putin of Russia, Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu, Australia’s Tony Abbott, Stephen Harper of Canada, and David Cameron, Prime Minister of Great Britain. He also thanked by name the leaders of smaller states closer to home like Sri Lanka and

As an uncommonly brisk night fell over Houston last week a tiny Russian spacecraft, bathed in blinding sunlight, re-entered the Earth’s atmosphere and plunged toward a dusty steppe in Kazakhstan. Of the three astronauts inside one was American, Rick Mastracchio, returning from a 188-day stay aboard the International Space Station. His arrival was closely watched in Houston, where Johnson Space Center has responsibility for U.S. human operations in space. Here, in mission control, photographs of astronauts old and new line long halls. They offer a palpable reminder that these people have managed every Gemini, Apollo and space shuttle flight. Houston

Documents obtained by the Washington Times revealed that the Bush Administration warned the Obama Administration about problems within the Veterans Administration as early as 2008, yet both the ABC and NBC evening news broadcasts ignored the story on Monday, May 19. Of the big three networks, only the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley covered the new revelations in the VA scandal. CBS News host Scott Pelley noted that “The Bush White House was so concerned about this back in 2008 that it warned the incoming Obama Administration.”

After the full House of Representatives cited former Internal Revenue Service (IRS) official Lois G. Lerner for contempt of Congress on Wednesday, the Washington Times fittingly made it the lead story. Over at the Washington Post, however, print readers had to go 19 pages deep to “The Fed Page,” a union-style newsletter for federal employees. If the Post had buried the story any deeper, it would have been wedged into the classifieds or crumpled up in a backyard mulch barrel. Here’s how the New York Times handled the story: “The House of Representatives voted on Wednesday to hold Lois Lerner, a

Bill Clinton did more today than defend his wife, Hillary Clinton, from recent accusations leveled by GOP strategist Karl Rove that she suffered brain damage after falling in December 2012. The former president revealed that his wife’s injury “required six months of very serious work to get over,” he said during a question-and-answer session at the Peterson Foundation in Washington. “They went to all this trouble to say she had staged what was a terrible concussion that required six months of very serious work to get over,” he said. “It’s something she never low-balled with the American people, never tried

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush said he would strive to be like Lyndon Johnson, the Democrat famous for expanding the U.S. welfare state through the "Great Society," if he were elected president. According to the Miami Herald, Bush made those comments Wednesday night in San Antonio, Florida at Saint Leo University, while speaking about education, immigration, and energy policy. Bush did not address Johnson´s Great Society and War on Poverty programs, about which Ronald Reagan once famously quipped, "We had a war on poverty, and poverty won." Instead, he was referencing Johnson´s mastery of the

NBA commissioner Adam Silver has pledged to pursue the ouster of disgraced Clippers owner Donald Sterling, who was caught on tape last month making a series of racist remarks and then attacked Lakers legend Magic Johnson in a nationally televised interview this week. However, the timing of Sterling’s departure remains unclear, and Shelly Sterling, Donald Sterling’s wife, has vowed to “fight” to keep her ownership stake in the team. One way or another, the National Basketball Players Association has made it clear they want both Sterlings removed by the start of the 2014-15 season, and one of the players union’s

When Barack Obama was running for the presidency, there were a number of people who warned he wasn’t ready for prime time – that he’d never really “done anything or run anything”. That he had never demonstrated any penchant for leadership at any time in his life, nor had he ever had any executive experience. That most of his adult life had been political campaigns for the next highest office – moving directly from one to the next with few if any accomplishments in-between.

The House has held Lois Lerner in contempt, but it won’t use its power to place the former IRS official under arrest, Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said on Sunday. Under a precedent affirmed by the Supreme Court, each chamber of Congress can authorize its sergeant-at-arms to detain individuals it holds in contempt. But Boehner said on "Fox News Sunday" that he has no interest in doing that with Lerner, whom the House last week voted to hold in contempt over her refusal to testify about her role in the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups. “I’m not sure we want to go down that path,” Boehner said. “It’s never been used,” he said of the

An international team of researchers has created the most complete visual simulation of how the Universe evolved. The computer model shows how the first galaxies formed around clumps of a mysterious, invisible substance called dark matter. It is the first time that the Universe has been modelled so extensively and to such great resolution. The research has been published in the journal Nature. Now we can get to grips with how stars and galaxies form and relate it to dark matter”, Prof Richard Ellis Caltech. The simulation will provide a test bed for emerging theories of what the Universe is

WASHINGTON - As the United States attempts to punish Russia for its actions in Ukraine, the Treasury Department is deploying an economic weapon that could prove more costly than sanctions: the Internal Revenue Service. This summer, the U.S. plans to start using a new law that will make it more expensive for Russian banks to do business in America. "It´s a huge deal," says Mark E. Matthews, a former IRS deputy commissioner. "It would throw enormous uncertainty into the Russian banking community."

In his message to the “Mexico/Holy See Colloquium on Migration and Development,” Pope Francis characterized the tens of thousands of illegal immigrants that have crossed the U.S. southern border as a product of globalization, suggesting that the phenomenon is happening worldwide. Francis proclaimed, “Despite the large influx of migrants present in all continents and in almost all countries, migration is still seen as an emergency, or as a circumstantial and sporadic fact, while instead it has now become a hallmark of our society and a challenge.” Emmer McCarthy for Vatican Radio said Francis expressed his concern for “the tens of thousands of

The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. They’ve just learned they will no longer be allowed to buy Chick-fil-A

“Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security. With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that
