NBC News Still In Damage Control
Mode over David Gregory Leaks

Breitbart´s Big Journalism, by John Nolte

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 4/25/2014 5:39:23 PM

After news leaked to the Washington Post that NBC News went so far as to hire a "psychological consultant" to interview the friends and family of David Gregory, NBC News has once again been forced to release a statement standing by its embattled "Meet the Press" host. THR reports that Deborah Turness, president of NBC News, said in a statement: There has been a great deal written about Meet the Press in the past few days, much of it quite ludicrous. I wanted to reach out to reiterate my support for the show and for David, now and into the future, as we work together to evolve the format. Unfortunately, some of the chatter

Comments:
Good luck with that. Nolte says: "Gregory is the mirror opposite of Russert: a left-wing elitist with an air of snobbery and disdain so thick it follows him around like Pig Pen´s dirt cloud." Well said Mr. Nolte.

Of all the networks, NBC sure has a penchant for obvious bonehead moves. David Gregory was always a poor choice, even if he was likable he just doesn´t have the intellectual chops. So he substitutes parroting Leftist agenda items. So predictable. So not astute. So un-Russert.

You know NBC has got to be looking around. They´d have to go outside, I think. I wouldn´t be surprised if they went after Chris Wallace. (Perhaps Ailes has him locked in tight, I dunno). But anyway, Wallace has a long history with NBC and could step right in.

Breitbart´s vet, John Nolte, writes with refreshing reality!
Read Nolte, THEN watch this unknown person, Gregory.
He is one of the many network and cable "news actors"
that fewer and fewer people are watching.
Because of Nolte´s honesty, this Sunday, it will be harsh laboratory fun to watch "Meet The Press", for the first time in years !

NBC is so far into the progressive bubble that they can´t see that there is no "there", there. In fact it is nowhere at NBC. Thank Immelt. Incest has a high probability of yielding idiots.

Debbie T´s speech was the French equivalent of the condemned getting kissed on both cheeks, blindfolded an then shot. NBC has delivered to Mr. Gregory the notice that he had better sit in the chair quietly, while the fuse is lit to blow him out the door.

Gregory was a regular on Don Imus´s radio show before The I Man´s Al Sharpton problem. Once that controversy began Gregory disappeared. Don´t care about your politics but anyone with any integrity sticks by his friends through thick and thin. He used The I Man to advance his career and then dropped him like a rock when prudence dictated cowardice. He does have nice hair.

Pathetic and very scary, realizing that our culture has come to this -- "brand consultants" for people. This isn´t rocket surgery:

Apparently the consultant was hired to find out why nobody likes David Gregory.

That´s easy. See below:

Gregory is the mirror opposite of Russert: a left-wing elitist with an air of snobbery and disdain so thick it follows him around like Pig Pen´s dirt cloud.

Were his nose any higher in the air, he´d drown in a rainstorm.

Time and again, Gregory has betrayed his biases on "Meet the Press," and usually in the most obnoxious way possible.

That´s one reason. Read on.

Moreover, Gregory is not half as smart as he thinks he is nor a quarter as smart as Russert was.

Liberals never are half as smart as they think they are because they get their mob mentality from the New York Times, this White House, and the alphabet networks. There´s not an original thought among them.

Does NBC News really need any kind of consultant to point out that no one enjoys spending their Sunday morning watching a dishonest jerk be a dishonest jerk?

The answer is yes, NBC does think that. What does that say about our culture where being an obnoxious cretin is a resume` enhancement?

On our cable, everything below ch 24 is mostly liberal - except for the one shining diamond, ch 21, which is Fox. I think NBC is down below the 10 level. It seems the lower you go on our channels the more liberal and retarded the programming is on average. I could not even tell anymore what channel NBC is on..or CBS or ABC for that matter - it´s been ages (at least a decade!) since I watched any of them.

Interestingly, Nolte talks about everyman Russert, who loved football and his son, Luke. Russert had that likability factor. Unfortunately, his son Luke doesn´t.

President Obama’s defiant emphasis on executive action reveals a larger failure looming for his legacy: His inability to work with Republicans means that he’s unlikely to score even one significant legislative achievement over the final years of his presidency. Unless Democrats win back the House and hold onto the Senate in November, a scenario dismissed by most political analysts, Mr. Obama has said goodbye long ago to his biggest accomplishments in Congress. They occurred back in 2010, when Democrats controlled the House and Senate, and Mr. Obama signed into law Obamacare, the Dodd-Frank Wall Street reform act and a two-year extension
