John McCain: Not Granting Amnesty
´A Stain on America´s Honor´

Breitbart´s Big Government, by Tony Lee

GOP Senators Accuse Obama Of Abandoning Immigration Enforcement (Wochit) Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), who co-wrote the Senate´s amnesty legislation and has been trying for more than a decade to pass comprehensive immigration reform, believes not granting amnesty to all of the country´s illegal immigrants is a "stain on America´s honor." Speaking at Harvard University´s Institute of Politics on Wednesday, McCain said the country currently has "de facto amnesty" because there are "not enough buses" to deport all of the country´s illegal immigrants. "Why don´t we give them a path to citizenship?" McCain asked before insisting that such a path is "no amnesty." "If you

Comments:
I´m so tired of McCain! It´s a stain on America´s honor that our borders haven´t been secured for too many years to count, our laws are ignored and not enforced and illegals are destroying all the welfare, educational and healthcare systems that are overburdened and going bankrupt. The statute of limitations has run on giving him a pass because he was a hero in the past. His behavior has been disgraceful for ignoring the laws and sovereignty of this country.

Amnesty breeds more illegal immigration.
When will it stop? When the entire population
of Mexico and further south have been granted
amnesty here?

McCain, Schumer and the rest are nuts.

The only stain on America´s honor is our failure to engage in mass arrests and deportations of the illegal aliens who have no regard for the law in a nation that is supposed to be GOVERNED by the rule of law. We should be deporting tens of thousands every day. America should not be the safety valve for the failed Mexican socialist revolution.

There is already a "pathway to citizenship," millions of people, from every country in the world, have followed it successfully, over dozens of decades.

McCain´s (and the DemonRATS´) problem is that the legal pathway starts in one´s home country, where one applies for and receives an immigrant visa before one enters this country, it cannot be used by criminal alien invaders who have shown no respect for our country or our laws.

This used to be a nation of laws, and every person, from the poorest of the poor to the richest of the rich, from those with the least political influence to the politically connected, had to obey the same laws or face the same punishments. To give an unfair advantage to illegal alien over those aliens following the rules (legal immigrants) to become citizens would be an irreparable "stain on America´s honor," and would tell the whole world that the law in America is impotent against all lawbreakers of any kind at any level.

McCain needs to check himself into a rest home. Amnesty is a discredited and obsolete public policy that has never solved the illegal alien problem in the past as it has always encouraged a new and bigger wave of illegal aliens to entry the USA anytime it has been granted.

Illegal aliens can be encouraged to leave in large numbers if the federal government would take effective action to keep illegal aliens out of US jobs. A mandatory e-verify system for all jobs would be a starter. The government should also keep illegal aliens out of the US social welfare system. Both of those factors would require politicians to demand that the immigration laws be enforced. That´s where the big problem is, as most politicians are pleased as punch to take the easy way out. Remember the immigration laws do not have a vote, but tens of millions of illegal aliens once legalized would eventually have a vote and that is what turns those politicians on.

The surge of illegal aliens–and in particular unaccompanied minors from Central America–across the border in Texas has started a debate in which more than immigration reform seems to be stake. While most conservatives are decrying the situation as the result of President Obama’s mistakes, some liberals are focusing on what they believe is the lack of compassion for the children that is being forgotten amid the politics. But as the plight of these desperate kids becomes publicized, Americans are being asked to make a choice between their charitable instincts and the rule of law. That’s the conceit of a good deal

“Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. Where is the red line of impeachment? In theory, a red line might be located somewhere on a list of impeachable offenses – perhaps at the point where a certain number of transgressions is exceeded, or next to a specific instance because of its significance or impact. In reality, though, that red line exists along a spectrum of “political will.” As Andrew McCarthy explained: “You can have a thousand provable impeachable offenses, but before Congress may remove the president from power, there must be strong popular support – a public will that cuts across partisan and ideological lines.”
