Al Gore Is Not Giving Up
Politico Magazine, by Darren Samuelson

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 4/25/2014 4:55:55 AM

Al Gore is richer and skinnier than ever, 14 years out of the White House, a tech titan with elder statesman clout, whose disdain for politics in the capital where he lived most of his life has only grown with each year he’s lived away from it. Sure, this new Gore has a great life, what with a net worth well over the $200 million mark following the sale of his Current TV network to Al Jazeera last year, that seat on the Apple board and his starring roles with two investment companies that tout their environmentally friendly business styles:

You have to look at Al Goreleoni really closely to see what face he´s talking out of. This hypocritical windbag has now gotten to "elder statesman " status to leftist dopes like Samuelson. That in itself is enough to make me lose my just eaten lunch. To think that this fool almost stole the presidency back in 2000. That wouldv´e been a disaster like the almost 8 years of the Obamanation on this country. Politico is a magazine just like Time and Newsweek. Not worth reading, lining your birds cage or using as a doggy training mat.

Wallace Stevens, at the beginning of stanza XVI in his poem "Examination of the Hero in a Time of War," writes: "Each false thing ends...." I believe that, but know not the time of the end.

More than any other political figure in our lifetimes, Al Gore has become filthy rich propounding environmental pornography to credulous leftists whose aim is to end capitalism, productivity, comfort, mobility, and prosperity in the Free World. Greenism (my term) is based on twisted, politicized science designed to spread environmental hysteria to Earth worshippers. Without the sustained political efforts to mandate Greenism throughout the economy, Gore´s riches would not be.

By definition, any politician who gets rich because of government involvement in public and private policy is a thief. Gore deserves the Mother of all RICO lawsuits. Remember also that the investors in the CCX (Chicago Climate Exchange) in which Gore was heavily involved, planned to create a mandatory market for carbon credits that would dwarf the values of all the combined equities on the world´s exchanges. At the beginning the plan was to pump the carbon indulgence markets up to a value of more than $15 trillion. Gore might have become the world´s first trillionaire. The CCX went belly up--thank the Lord!--but Gore and his cohorts won´t quit until a wooden stake is driven through their greedy black hearts. These are the most destructive and misanthropic people in humamn history.

President Barack Obama’s handling of the Central American immigration crisis isn’t selling well in New Mexico, according to a Journal flash poll. More than half of the registered New Mexico voters surveyed — 55 percent — said they disapproved of the president’s handling of the situation. Only 28 percent said they approved and 16 percent were unsure. Tens of thousands of immigrants from Central America have recently entered the U.S. illegally, many of them children, and many reportedly fleeing violence in their own countries. Obama’s response has been e volving. But last week, just before the Journal flash poll was conducted, he asked

Bridges and tunnels, tunnels and bridges. For the future of our world, we must learn to recognize the difference between the two. I spent a lot of time over the years, both as First Lady and U.S. secretary of state, thinking about ways to understand those differences. I hold firm to my opinion that tunnels are, by and large, designed for traveling beneath things. Bridges, by contrast, are designed for traveling above things. And, like many Americans, I still hold strong to that great belief. With tunnels and bridges, it’s not that the more you have of one the less

There are many things I like about Texas Gov. Rick Perry, including his stance on the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution. But apparently his new glasses haven’t altered his perception of the world, or allowed him to see it any more clearly. There are obviously many important events going on in the world right now, but with 60,000 foreign children streaming across the Texas border, I am surprised Governor Perry has apparently still found time to mischaracterize and attack my foreign policy. Governor Perry writes a fictionalized account of my foreign policy so mischaracterizing my views that I wonder if he’s even

One afternoon in the spring of 2006, Damany Lewis, a math teacher at Parks Middle School, in Atlanta, unlocked the room where standardized tests were kept. It was the week before his students took the Criterion-Referenced Competency Test, which determined whether schools in Georgia had met federal standards of achievement. The tests were wrapped in cellophane and stacked in cardboard boxes. Lewis, a slim twenty-nine-year-old with dreadlocks, contemplated opening the test with scissors, but he thought his cut marks would be too obvious. Instead, he left the school, walked to the corner store, and bought a razor blade. When he

Government authorities were wise to back off in April when scofflaw Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy surrounded himself with armed supporters to avoid paying more than $1 million in grazing fees and penalties he had accumulated over two decades. As infuriating as it was that Bundy had repeatedly defied court orders and insisted he could graze his cattle wherever he pleased, he wasn´t worth a bloody confrontation. Three months later, though, Americans who obey the law and pay their bills might wonder how long Bundy and his gun-toting pals are going to get away with rejecting the rule of law. It´s bad enough

The legal positions of President Obama’s Justice Department have been slapped down unanimously a remarkable 13 times in the Supreme Court in the last two years. Over and over, even Obama’s own two appointees to the court — Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan — have held that the president has exceeded his authority and violated the separation of powers. This coming week, we could see the second-highest court in the land rule that the administration broke the law in enforcing a key provision of Obamacare, calling into question once again Obama’s fidelity to the Constitution — and further endangering his

Communist regimes have long specialized in committing enormous resources and legions of secret police stooges to the airbrushing of their own histories. Persons—both living and dead—become non-persons, past events become events that never happened, certain subjects become unmentionable in any public forums and sometimes even in private conversation. This brand of enforced amnesia becomes necessary with these regimes for the simple reason that they are far more terrified of their own populations than the threats from the outside world that they are constantly handwringing about. At a recent hearing, Rep. Paul Ryan neatly summarized the problem the IRS has when he responded to Commissioner John Koskinen this way: “I don’t believe it. That’s your problem: Nobody believes you.” Now two federal judges have basically said the same thing. Last Thursday, US District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan, a Bill Clinton appointee, ordered the IRS to designate an official to explain — under oath — how it lost the Lois Lerner e-mails. The judge also asked a federal magistrate to look at other ways the court might find the IRS records. The order was followed the next day with

Barack Obama did not blow apart Hillary Clinton’s huge lead during the 2008 Democratic primaries just because he was a landmark African-American candidate, new to the scene, and a skilled campaigner. Even Democrats were all Clintoned out. By such weariness, I don’t suggest that either of the Clintons is unpopular. Indeed, Americans apparently look fondly back on the high-growth 1990s as the continuation of the Reagan-Bush boom years, and a time when Democrats and Republicans finally fixed budget deficits. (Note well that when Obama went back to the Clinton-era tax rates for the more affluent, the deficit dipped, but certainly did

Sarah Palin wants to impeach Barack Obama.
