N. Texas deputy accused of shooting
man´s dog to death gets fired

A Rains County, TX sheriff´s deputy accused of shooting and killing a farmer´s dog for no reason has been fired, officials with the county sheriff´s office confirmed Thursday. The deputy argued that the dog, Candy, threatened his safety. Candy’s owner, Cole Middleton, is a third generation dairy farmer. After Candy died, Middleton began a campaign on Facebook that is getting national attention and said she was killed for no good reason. Last week, someone broke into Middleton’s house. He was on his tractor when the deputy arrived to investigate. Middleton could see Candy

When police cease getting support from citizens because of continued BS like this, I hope they have the decency to not look surprised.

Even if the dog charged the deputy, which it appears she didn´t, she was only doing her job. Dogs protect their families. Cops carry pepper spray. If he was afraid of the dog, why didn´t he use that, or a tazer? There was no need to shoot the dog. I bet this cop is a cat owner.

As part of my work in the early eighties I was in six hundred farmer´s yards in a six month period. They all had dogs. I was unarmed and unbitten.

What´s the difference between me and an uniformed bum that shoots a retreating dog who´s owner is visibly coming to the yard on a tractor?

Incidents such as these are happening it seems on a daily basis, and it´s not only dogs but people........shoot first, ask questions later and lie on reports seems to be API by the greater majority of LEOs.
It´s unreal.
The lady walking down the roadway (no cement curbs or sidewalks in the area) in a secluded development being forcibly tackled by a cop on a motorcycle. He kept repeating he wanted her to stop and talk with her thinking he might not be a cop and was flirting. When she continued on he rushed her from the back and tackled her, cuffed her and hauled her off to jail. Her offense: Walking on the wrong side of the road he reported.
It appears in many of the videos the most aggressive ones are the ones who have sat in the donut shops and had way too many donuts.

He should be and charged with cruelty. He was to stupid to be in law enforcement.

The problem we have with law enforcement is many are not qualified i.e. smart enough to have the authority they have. When they take that badge they are not god just a public servant sworn to UPHOLD THE LAW!

The story is worse than reported here. 1) The stupid deputy shot the dog in the BACK of the head. 2) the poor doggy did not die immediately from the gun shot and the owner begged the deputy to put down his down as she was in a lot of pain but the deputy just got in his car and drove away leaving the distraught owner to kiil the dog well, like I said, it´s worse than what´s reported here.

Former Deputy Jerrod Dooley was not mentioned by name in this news report. Gee, I wonder why. Makes one wonder what kind of Sheriff would employ such a scum deputy.

Four people have been arrested and a Homeland Security officer is under investigation for firing his weapon during a weekend scuffle between pro-Israel demonstrators and Palestinian supporters outside the Federal Building in Los Angeles. The altercation Sunday evening grew out of a shouting match between the occupants of two vehicles that escalated when several people from one vehicle were assaulted by suspects in the other, the Los Angeles County Sheriff´s Office said. An officer of the Federal Protective Service, an agency of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, who witnessed the assault intervened and fired his weapon

Michelle Obama’s food policy czar, celebrity chef Sam Kass, was once so in with the lunch lady crowd that he landed a guest judge spot on a tearful school lunch episode of Food Network’s “Chopped” and handed out awards at the School Nutrition Association’s convention in Denver. For all the yellow ribbons strewn across his hometown in Idaho and the gratitude expressed by his parents in an emotional visit to the White House on Saturday, it’s looking increasingly unlikely that Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl will receive a hero’s welcome when he returns to the United States after nearly five years in Taliban captivity. From military forums across the country, a groundswell of anger is rising over the Obama administration’s silence on perhaps the most controversial question surrounding the deal that freed Bergdahl in exchange for five senior Taliban members: Was he a deserter?

Over at the Free Beacon, Sonny Bunch has a nifty little piece arguing that FX’s little watched yet highly praised “The Americans” is the most reactionary show on television. And while he makes a good case, I’d contend there’s an odd, unnoticed glut of conservative-friendly TV these days, particularly on premium cable. First, let’s take “The Americans,” an excellent show about Soviet spies raising a family in the Virginia suburbs during the Reagan era. “Phillip” and “Elizabeth” are both Russian-born deep-cover KGB saboteurs who have been trained to speak and act like everyday Americans. That question has become a political Rorschach test this year, the 50th anniversary of President Lyndon B. Johnson’s war on poverty. On Wednesday, Representative Paul D.
