MSNBC host pens radical
´climate justice´ manifesto

Washington Examiner, by Byron York

Original Article

Posted By:Drive, 4/23/2014 8:06:04 AM

"What the climate justice movement is demanding is the ultimate abolition of fossil fuels," writes MSNBC´s Chris Hayes in a lengthy new call for action against global warming. To drive home the point, Hayes´ piece, published in The Nation, is titled "The New Abolitionism," and its message is that a way must be found to "convince or coerce" the world´s energy companies and energy-producing nations to give up the multi-trillion dollar business of powering the planet. Once the fossil fuels regime has been destroyed, it will be replaced with -- well, that is the subject for another article. Comparing anti-fossil fuels

Actually, I think this might be a good idea. Let´s forbid the use of ANY fossil fuels for one year.

The people who will suffer most are the latte-sipping pajama boy fops and their ilk in big cities who depend entirely on fossil fuels for heating, cooling, water purification and to truck in food, clothing and medicines.

The people who will suffer far less are those in rural areas who can (and do) hunt and grow their own food, many of whom are already living off-grid with their own solar and wind solutions.

Not much sport in laying claim to this high moral ground without even claiming to be aware of any alternative and without providing any evidence of ´Warming´. Like most all "Liberal" theories, this one proposes that we be willing to sacrifice everything in our total commitment to making the perfect into the enemy of the good. As a more logical, more moderate and more effective measure of combating global warming perhaps we should first embark upon a program of tossing virgins into volcanoes.

I agree. Let´s stop the world from using fossil fuels. But then again, how would Michelle get to her exotic vacation spots? How could Barry fly across the country to make speeches damning fossil fuels and fundraising? How would the Hollywood elite make movies without taking semi-trucks and helicopters to their sets? They might have to use back-lot sets in Hollywood again. How would the kids who are bussed across town to better schools get there. How would you, Sir Idiot, get to work? Do you ride a bicycle every day? I didn´t think so. What a jerk!

There is nothing as energy-dense as a gallon of refined gasoline. Only takes a few seconds to put into your car, and can transport you and whatever is in your car/van/SUV several miles. Electirc cars have VERY limited range, and require hours and hours of re-charge. And electricity isn´t just produced by Oprah breaking wind in an elevator [still my favorite revelation from a few days ago]; it requires burning coal, or hydroeletric dams, or horror of horrors, NUCLEAR power plants, which are unbelievably efficient.

Anything PMSNBC says is to be flushed immediately; their ratings speak for themself.

It just isn´t fair that some people have snow and some don´t. We need to export snow to the snow deficient places, And why should some countries get hit by tornadoes and some spared? Countries without need to pay for tornado damage. And those communities that have an overabundance of fresh water should pay for those who don´t. Then Justice will be served.

There is a leftist organization devoted to beggaring people in the upper tax brackets that has "tax justice" in its name. "Climate justice" is another page from the same manifesto. This MSNBC host does look like Pajama Boy, and shows signs of the mental instability and deterioration to which leftist beliefs lead. Chris Hayes is literally insane.

#10´s reference to abiotic hydrocarbon fuels (oil, coal, natural gas) is to the point. Peter Morgan´s 2008 article in CFP opened my eyes to that hypothesis, which makes total logical sense. How so? First of all, what is coal? Desiccated, solidified oil. Chemically, the subatances are very similar, and natural gas is just a related by-product from the same process. Oil is called a fossil fuel, ostensibly made from long dead carbon life forms, animal and plant.

But the mortal remains of everything that has ever lived on earth reposes in the several miles of earth´s crust, where temperatures and atmospheric pressures are nowhere near what´s required to transform carcasses into oil. No, that has to happen in the mantle, which does have extreme pressure and temperatures necessary. In the middle of the earth there must be unimaginably huge quantities of calcium carbonate and iron oxide, from which oil is brewed. Internal pressures and the earth centrifugal force move the oil outward into fissures in the earth´s crust: oilfields.

Wells pumped nearly dry are known to have refilled over time. There will be oil until the earth´s internal fire goes out. We should use it.

The so-called scientists need to explain something to me about their method of establishing previous CO2 levels. How can I be assured that the methods are scientifically accurate?

The accepted method is to examine CO2 content in ice cores. Their assumption is that the ice traps the components of the atmosphere exactly as it is and does not allow any molecules to escape. I’ve seen footage of mammoths and the Ice Man that were encapsulated in ice and while they were well preserved, they didn’t appear to be perfectly “frozen in time”. I also have had vacuum sealed steak frozen in my freezer for just a year which was not as pristine as it was after a month of being frozen, apparently something escaped from the meat. It leads me to question if 1,000 year old ice has truly captured and held a reliable sample of the atmosphere.

The other influence that exists on ice cores is pressure. Does the weight of 1,000 years of accumulated ice force out any of its contents? Is it possible that the freshly frozen layer of ice contained 10 times the CO2 content 1.000 years ago? Where are the known and provable benchmarks? Has science measured fresh ice and then tested it against a sample that naturally existed for even just 20 years to prove that it remains stable?

This is junk science without the necessary controls that leaves the test results unreliable. Common sense dictates if time and pressure were to have any effect on the ice cores, it can only lead to the reduction of the gasses that it originally contained. That would lead to the conclusion that the CO2 levels would have been higher, possibly much higher, than is presently assumed, and assumption doesn’t belong in true science.

Hillary Clinton appeared Tuesday on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart to promote her book, "Hard Choices." Stewart briefly discussed the 656-page tome about Clinton´s tenure as secretary of state and then asked exactly what everyone is wondering. "No one cares," about the book, he said. "They just want to know if you´re running for president." Stewart, like so many, tried to get the answer -- even telling Clinton that it sounded like she had just declared that she was running. Like so many others Stewart couldn´t confirm anything, but he gets points for asking the most creative questions.

Politicians in Germany have devised an ingenious solution to combat the threat of eavesdropping by American spies: playing classical music during their meetings.
