The Increasing Desperation of Democrats
National Review Online, by John Fund

Harry Reid isn’t backing down from his claim that rancher Cliven Bundy’s supporters are “domestic terrorists.” It’s astonishing rhetoric given the White House’s characterization of the mass shooting by a genuine terrorist, Major Nidal Hasan, who killed 13 Americans at the Fort Hood Army base after yelling “Allahu Akbar!” (God is great.) Rather than labeling Hasan’s actions “domestic terrorism,” the Obama administration is prosecuting him for having committed “workplace violence.” Democratic rhetoric is become ever more desperate and overheated as we approach the November midterm elections. Last week, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said that GOP positions on immigration were motivated by

FTA "Deliberately misstating information about key issues in order to keep certain issues before the public is often a premeditated strategy. “The tactic represents one more step in the embrace of cynicism that has characterized President Obama’s journey in office,” John Dickerson wrote at Slate. “Facts, schmacts. As long as people are talking about an issue where my party has an advantage with voters, it’s good.”

The radical in the White House will say and do anything to continue his transformation of the "greatest country on earth". He is nothing but a liar and makes Bill Clinton look like an amateur.

To Harry Reid and his ilk anyone who would stand up to this corrupt government is a domestic terrorist. The action by Cliven Bundy and his supporters struck more fear in their hearts than Al Qaeda ever could. The most fear inducing person to them, is an informed and armed United States Citizen. The grit and attitude of those people was a wake up call for all those government lackeys who believe they can intimidate Americans into compliance. Arming bureaucrats is a very bad idea. Americans take to heart the sentiment on the Gadsden Flag.

Reid seems to think whatever he says will be dutifully reported by the press to back him up.
I think that has been true in the past, but now the little dictator clothes.

I am SO thankful for the Internet, and for wonderful, everyday folks like Lucianne and Friends. If we couldn´t band together to take a stand, I believe Reid and Company would pass a bill to make speaking the truth a Felony.

If Lewis Carroll were alive today he would wonder why hypocrisy and lying are not synonyms.

This world is upside down. Truth cannot be trusted and lies are critical to the growth of this country.

Obama said this is the greatest country on earth and "I am going to change that." He and his partner VJ are doing a great job due to the lofos in this country.

A deliberate strategy that is working brilliantly.

Old time mariners were baffled, and became afraid, by the phenomenon of rats from the dark holds appearing on deck and scurrying around in a frenzy prior to the vessel´s sinking.

Scientific note: Those rats were most likely of the genus, Rattus norvegicus - brown rat, but could have been Rattus rattus - black rat. Either way, the trait seems to have genetically moved into the modern day mutant Rattus - democ.

footnote: there has been increasing discussion in the cloakrooms about to which sub-genus hairy reid belongs.

We The People, need to keep these little furry pests out of the life boats this November as the ship they have infested goes to Davey Jones Locker.

The Demos´ superheated rhetoric is clearly a ploy to stir up the base and boost midterm turnout. But no matter how desperate their tactics, or how ridiculous their charges, they never attack or ridicule EACH OTHER publicly. When one Demo makes an outrageous statement, his colleagues simply don´t comment. They keep any disagreements behind closed doors and never race to a microphone for a sound byte to "prove" what an idiot their fellow Demo is. In this respect ONLY, they are light years ahead of us. The GOP circular firing squads cannot possibly be constructive, yet we take the media bait every single time. The Demos may be desperate but they´re not stupid. In this respect, we could learn a lot.

FTA: ...the use of incendiary rhetoric is part of an electoral strategy. “Social scientists who have studied voters have found that voter participation rises when voters are emotionally engaged,”

I agree with the social scientists, but Dems don´t seem to understand that more and more voters are angry with them instead of Republicans and it is going to come back and bite them - why?:

1. Obamacare (not a single Republican voted for it) is hurting medical care and all its phases.
2. IRS targeting - it is now sinking in that if the IRS could target conservative groups, they could target liberal groups, too.
3. NSA spying - most people value their privacy and NSA has invaded it. Bush may have done it, too, after 9/11/2001, but he was trying to fight terrorism before the terrorists struck again.
Obama is trying to find Americans who disagree with him and his policies and shut them down in more ways than one - Big Difference.

So, guess what. Benny Ray WILL NOT show his face here, he makes public appearances, has town halls, in the rest of is district, but not here. So, on break he has only consorted with his base and will go back to DC with a big smile on his face. I´d love to get in his face and wipe that smile off with a few choice words.

John Fund, formerly WSJ, was in on the whole Bill and Hillary crime and mass death While House. He knows the desperation of real criminals.
Desperation always leads to mistakes. At the end of a good crime movie, the criminal frantically exposes himself to be caught, the one time he should have remained in the background.
Now, Harry Reid is saying foolish things about a Nevada cowboy, and Obama is stupidly saying that the communization of medicine debate is over!
Two arrogant demoRats overcome with Marxist totalitarian madness.
The "voltage" idea to get attention, that John mentions,
has been done by commie trained agitators for many years. Think Al Gore, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Bill Maher, Whoopi Goldberg, most certainly Barry Soetero.

Look at those most irresponsibly desperate name calling, wildly insulting, and you will see that truth is winning out, exposing these imposters.

My 2 cents are: this leftist cabal was developing for many years and repubics were standing on the sidelines not opposing anything - the power grab of bureaucracy, mainstream media, academia, entertainment industry, banking, etc.
Even now, we don´t hear a word that we need conservative mainstream media??? Everybody is asking for money to promote conservative and republican ideas. Wouldn´t it be wise to build conservative, common sense, mainstream media? It would give conservative candidates and analysts more newspaper and TV access to much more people who are hungry to know what is going on in America.

The good citizens of Nevada did not elect this crook. His strength came from Las Vegas union leaders who forced their constituents to vote for this thug, thus swinging the vote.

Interestingly: When Dingy Hairy made these comments about terrorists on the Senate floor, his rhetoric was protected and he could not be held accountable. But...! When he went on national TV and spewed his venomous diatribe, about all the Bundy supporters being "domestic terrorists," he opened himself to libel and can and should be sued into the poor house before he goes to prison for treason. His collusion with the Chinese and a solar farm in that land is enough to put him away for decades. (Oh, Pardon me. It was his son that made the deal. Riiiiiiight!)

Federal employees, like all Americans, are entitled to hold passionate political beliefs. Most executive branch federal employees, however, may not engage in certain political activities, thanks to an anti-conflict of interest principle enshrined in a federal law called the Hatch Act. To wit, President Bush requested the resignation of his GSA administrator in 2008 after the US Office of Special Counsel determined she had violated federal law by participating in a video conference with Karl Rove and sending out partisan letters. That´s up from 5 percent in June, and is the highest number Gallup has registered for immigration since 2006, when 15 percent said it was the nation´s most pressing problem. Gallup’s new survey found immigration is virtually tied with “dissatisfaction with government” as the nation´s top problem. The economy and unemployment rank below immigration and “dissatisfaction with government" as top problems, the new poll found. How would you feel if someone promised to give you a car, and then reneged on that pledge? That’s how all Americans should feel when it comes to ObamaCare -- because Barack Obama’s failed and discredited campaign promise to lower health insurance premiums has cost the average American family an amount equal to the price of many new cars. During his 2008 campaign, one of then-Senator Obama’s most audacious promises was that his health plan would reduce premiums by $2,500 for the average family. His repeatedly made his pledge on videotape; you can view those promises here. But health insurance premiums

The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. They’ve just learned they will no longer be allowed to buy Chick-fil-A

“Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security. Contrary to what those who defend the right to own high-powered assault rifles believe, not all guns are created equal. Due to a combination of availability, portability and criminal usage the following five types of guns are the country's most dangerous. School Shootings: Widely Reported Tragedies Since 2000 - Using firearm trace data from the ATF, as well as FBI homicide records, we determined the types of guns most often recovered from crime scenes and/or used in murders. The numbers are stark: According to the FBI's 2012 Crime in the US data, nearly 70 percent of homicides for which the FBI received weapons data involved the use

It had to come sometime, and it came in one very bad week for the Democrats: that the many big problems with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama finally grew too great for the press to ignore. Obama in his own different way is heading towards Nixon-like levels of weirdness, as, beaten down by the failures regarding his ventures, he appears to have quit his own job. A.B. Stoddard of the Hill says in effect he has stopped being president and chooses to live in a world of his own, shutting out the problems that have become overwhelming, giving dinners where he talks

The headline in the Washington Post on June 4 was clear: Rove-backed American Crossroads won’t get involved in Cochran runoff Said the Post story the day after Tea Party favorite Chris McDaniel had defeated six-term Mississippi GOP Senator Thad Cochran in the first round of the state’s GOP primary: American Crossroads, a GOP establishment organization, has decided to shift its political focus almost entirely to the general election and will not be spending money in the likely runoff election to decide the Mississippi Senate nomination that was virtually deadlocked after Tuesday night. Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has warned all of his colleagues in Congress that President Barack Obama’s new immigration strategy—his plans to legalize millions of illegal alien adults through executive power—could destroy America as we know it. “I write to inform you of a development that threatens the foundation of our constitutional Republic,” Sessions, Congress’s top immigration hawk, wrote in a letter that was hand-delivered to all 535 members of Congress on Monday and provided exclusively to Breitbart News. Sessions cites a recent report from the National Journal, in which reporter Major Garrett detailed how, despite the ongoing

Attorney General Eric Holder encouraged Americans not to forget race while working for justice and equality in their country. “As it stands, our society is not yet color blind -- nor should it be -- given the disparities that still afflict and divide us.” Holder explained, “We must be color brave, and we must never forget that all are made better and more prosperous if all are given equal opportunities.” Holder made his remarks during a speech at Howard University on Tuesday for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Civil Rights Act. “We must take into account not only the

WASHINGTON — It was an enduring image of his presidency: a chastened Bill Clinton walking his dog while wife Hillary keeps her distance as the family leaves town at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal — but it was all part of a contrived public-repentance campaign, according to a new book. With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that

John McCain, an immigration hawk. Who knew? Mr. McCain, the highest-profile Republican of the U.S. Senate’s “Gang of Eight” that came up with amnesty as the solution to the immigration crisis — and it truly is a crisis — is finally taking a hard line against President Obama for his encouraging the tidal wave of illegal aliens swamping the southwestern border. “There has to be a halt to this,” Mr. McCain thundered Sunday on CNN. “That’s what we want, and the best way to do that is for planeloads of these young people to be returning to their country of origin
