Advice to Democrats: Don´t say ´recovery´
Associated Press, by David Espo

WASHINGTON - Election-year memo to Democratic candidates: Don´t talk about the economic recovery. It´s a political loser. So say Democratic strategists in a blunt declaration that such talk skips over "how much trouble people are in, and doesn´t convince them that policymakers really understand or are even focusing on the problems they continue to face." In addition, Stan Greenberg, James Carville and others wrote that in head-to-head polling tests the mere mention of the word "recovery" is trumped by a Republican assertion that the Obama administration has had six years to get the economy moving and its policies haven´t worked. Coincidentally or not,

Advice to GOP, use democrats own words against them in low cost political ads. Get a video clip of goofy biden´s "summer of recovery" remark along with recordings of other prominent dems blatting about recovery. But don´t get your hopes up because high priced, elitist GOP consultants rarely do anything that works.

"Old America" is the only thing that´s keeping this nation afloat. But that can´t go on forever. The national debt will eventually take its toll as people will be forced to pay more taxes, the youth have their future mortgaged and the government prints more money.
That is just one symptom of a culture that is in denial and is self-destructive morally and fiscally.
The nation needs to be united, (on the same page morally) and that can only come from leaders who are social conservatives and strengthened financially from leaders who are fiscal conservative.
Liberals (with the help of a liberal media) have sold the public a bill of goods that is divisive and destructive and has weakened our nation socially and fiscally. They should be imprisoned for what they have done, but they did get elected by the people so we can´t do that.
The planners of the Democrat Party only care about two things, getting elected into office and staying in office. They don´t care if America succumbs to their financial and social policies, just keep the power and money coming their way. They are truly evil and destructive; too bad the American people are too stupid morally and financially to know it.

The meme to Democrats:
* embrace - and love - Obamacare; it´s a winner.
* don´t discuss ´recovery´ - there is none and won´t be.
* Republicans are evil and want to eat your children. Democrats are all-knowing and your best friends.
* Ignore reality - keep spreading the gospel of Obama.

Been working on inflation and growth since 2008.
Inflation since 2008 has been 12.6%
Inflation adjusted 2013 GNP is 15.18 Trillion dollars.
GNP in 2008 was 14.67 Trillion.
Inflation adjusted growth since 2008 is 3.5%.
3.5% growth over 5 years comes to annual adjusted growth of .697%.
OR... just under 3/4´s of 1% per year.
It´s amazing there has been ANY job growth at all.

DOJ court documents in Benghazi
suspect case put video narrative to rest

Court documents filed by the U.S. Justice Department in the criminal case against Benghazi attack suspect Ahmed Abu Khatallah provide unprecedented details about the evolution of the assault and further shatter the Obama administration´s initial claim that it sprouted from protests over an anti-Islam film. The narrative that the video played a role continues to live on, with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton saying recently that some of the attackers may indeed have been influenced by the online video. But the Justice Department´s court filings make clear that at least those spearheading the attack were part of a "conspiracy," one that

We all know the story of American independence, don’t we? A rugged frontier people became increasingly tired of being ruled by a distant elite. A group calling themselves Patriots were especially unhappy about being taxed by a parliament in which they were unrepresented. When, in 1775, British Redcoats tried to repress them, a famous Patriot called Paul Revere rode through the night across eastern Massachusetts, crying “The British are coming!” The shots that were fired the next day began a war for independence which culminated the following year in the statehouse in Philadelphia, when George Washington and others, meeting under

Jedediah Purdy, a professor of law at Duke University Law School, is vexed by the two biggest problems facing the United States. No, not a chronically low labor participation rate, not an economic recovery which often looks more like a recession, not the renewed aggression of great powers like China or Russia, or the collapse of smaller powers in Central America and the Middle East. Taking to the pages of Politico Magazine, Purdy warned in stark terms of the real problems facing the country. They just happen to be problems which have always been and always will be problems; the

Political courage these days is generally defined as a politician doing something that might make it harder to get re-elected. Real civic leadership has always been about convincing people to do what’s right and hard rather than what’s popular and easy. Courage is part of that. People are less likely to follow a leader who asks them to sacrifice and struggle when he or she will not. But now, that sacrifice generally refers to a politician having to spend more of other peoples’ money on a primary election contest or, in rare cases, moving to a lucrative career in punditry or influence

Richard Mellon Scaife, the Pittsburgh philanthropist and reclusive heir to the Mellon banking fortune, whose support for right-wing causes laid the foundations for America’s modern conservative movement and fueled the 1998 impeachment of President Bill Clinton, died on Friday. He was 82. Mr. Scaife’s death was reported by the The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, a newspaper he owned. No cause of death was given. Decades before David and Charles Koch bankrolled right-wing causes, Mr. Scaife and Joseph Coors, the beer magnate, were the leading financiers of the conservative crusade of the 1970s and ’80s, seeking to reverse the liberal traditions of Franklin D. You wouldn’t think, five years into the Obama presidency, that so many liberal Americans wouldn’t like America. A new Pew survey found that 44 percent of Americans don’t often feel pride in being an American, and only 28 percent said that America is the greatest country in the world. Respondents who “often feel proud to be American” were overwhelmingly conservative (from 72 percent to 81 percent, depending on the kind of conservative). A majority (60 percent) of “solid liberals” said they don’t often feel proud to be an American. The polling data only prove what has been obvious for a while. Georgia representative
