Whoopi Goldberg Is The Denver

Whoopi Goldberg, perhaps looking for a journalistic outlet that’s a little different from The View, has just signed on as The Denver Post’s newest marijuana columnist. Her first column, dedicated to her vape pen, appeared Thursday morning on The Cannabist, which serves as the paper’s home for coverage of everything related to Colorado’s recreational marijuana legalization. In the column, Goldberg introduces readers to “Sippy,” the pen-sized vaporizer that she says changed her life. “No, I’m not exaggerating,” she writes. “In fact, her name is Sippy. Yes, she’s a she. And yes, I named her Sippy because I take tiny, little sips

I live in Colorado. The embarrassments just keep piling up.

Sunday is 4/20 and this weekend we are expected to open our collective arms to a bunch of dirty pot-smoking freaks who are eager to celebrate. Here´s a clue: celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. It´s called Easter!

#4, I feel your pain.

I grew up in Denver and loved Colorado. I could never reconcile, as a kid, how such a nice place could have leadership that would force me to no longer go to my school down the street, but get on a bus for an hour each way to a smelly old school downtown with a bunch of kids that hated us. Because a judge said so. Because busing was "good for us".

Didn´t matter that busing was a stunning failure in every city it was tried in...Denver was one of the last to give it up. And spent millions and created chaos for thousands and thousands of families.

So of course they would be on the cutting edge of absolute lunacy like this.

Let a year go by, and ask the citizens where there amazing tax windfall, savings and improved schools are coming along. I am sure they sold you that BS, just like they tried to sell us that in California...none of which has come to pass.

Love Denver, love Colorado, but a really sick leadership and tons of useless citizens.

US Investigations Services LLC — the firm that is accused of defrauding the U.S. government by failing to provide sufficient background checks, including on one particular defense contractor now currently catching up on The Sopranos in Russia — just got a new $190 million contract from the Department of Homeland Security. DHS’ U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has retained the services of USIS to help run its immigration system. How the hell? Well, federal law requires government agencies go with the lowest bidder, and agencies are only allowed to reject companies for prior malfeasance if they’ve been barred from doing work with

The Vancouver (British Columbia) Board of Education has approved a sweeping new policy for accommodating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit, queer, questioning and “all sexual and gender identities,” including the creation of three pronouns, replacing masculine and feminine with xe, xem and xyr (pronounced ze, zem and zur). Two spirit is an Aboriginal term which means having both feminine and masculine spirits. It´s not limited to gender expression or sexuality, but encompasses them both while incorporating a spiritual element. It´s a standalone identity, not an Aboriginal term for gay lesbian. Looks like another win for the Gipper. Many news outlets are highlighting a new Quinnipiac Poll in which Barack Obama is ranked the worst president since World War II. Obama now ranks even lower than the man he blames for everything, his predecessor George W. Bush. Not so well reported is that Ronald Reagan is rated the best post-war president. The poll isn’t even close. Reagan polls at double the second-place winner, Bill Clinton, and more than four times JFK. We think we understand why. In foreign policy, Reagan’s “peace through strength” philosophy was derided at the time by liberals as reckless warmongering — but

If you listen to progressives these days, the Supreme Court has granted corporations the power to compel their employees to go to church. It has empowered corporations to tell women to throw away their contraceptives. Five of the men on the court have declared full jihad against all of the women of America. Next stop, subjugation, revocation of the right to vote, and the end of women’s rights in America. All of that is absurd, of course. The Hobby Lobby case was a too-narrow win for religious freedom and private property rights. But it’s making for amusing theatrics around the country

Murrieta Town Hall Vents Anger

A town hall in Murrieta, CA on Wednesday evening erupted into anger at the federal government over its failure to enforce immigration laws, as counter-demonstrators outside showed support for the illegal aliens--many of them women and children--being transported to the community from Border Patrol facilities in Texas. Local KCAL9 News reported that 750 residents gathered inside the local high school, and hundreds were turned away. The town had been the scene of a dramatic confrontation earlier in the week between over 100 demonstrators and buses carrying 140 illegal aliens. The protestors, waving signs and American flags, blocked a road and turned
