RUSH: From Katie Pavlich at Town Hall.com: "According to new IRS emails obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request from Judicial Watch, former head of tax exempt groups at the IRS Lois Lerner was in contact with the Department of Justice in May 2013 about whether tax exempt groups could be criminally prosecuted for ´lying´ about political activity." So Eric Holder and Lois Lerner not only are liars, they´re in cahoots. Lois Lerner was asking the Department of Justice to criminally prosecute people like Catherine Engelbrecht. This woman, this Lerner, this is a witch. This is a very unhappy --

None of this matters unless they are prosecuted. Is that going to happen? Does anyone in Washington have what it takes to make it happen? I seriously doubt it.

Eric Holder is not going to prosecute Obama, the IRS senior counsel Obama appointed, Lerner, 6-10 other IRS and DoJ seniors and himself for this enormous scandal. Holder is Obama´s consigliere who is responsible for two things: Protecting Obama from impeachment; and implementing Obama´s corrupt practices. Unless a court rules that Holder cannot investigate himself, forcing an independent prosecutor, nothing will happen to stop the regime. Even the prosecutor will be stonewalled by Obama.

Obama may declare himself president for life in 2016, canceling the elections and imposing martial law. Perversely, the S&P 500 will close above 3000 at the announcement.

The family of a North Carolina man who was shot and killed while committing an armed robbery is calling for stricter gun laws. Dante Williams, 19, and his accomplice Jawan Craig walked into the Waffle House restaurant and "terrorized" the customers in 2012 intent on robbing it at gun point. Upon being approached by Williams, gun in hand, one of the patrons, Justin Harrison – who also had a concealed weapon on him but had an actual permit for it – shot Williams in self-defense, killing him "almost instantly," according to a Fox News affiliate in North Carolina. JACKSON, MS - The Mississippi Tea Party President says they´ve found evidence that nearly 800 voters crossed over in Tuesday´s runoff election that should not have been allowed to vote Republican. However, Hinds County GOP Chairman Pete Perry says there are some precincts where he knows workers marked the wrong column and that could account for at least 200 of those being cited by the Tea Party. Members of McDaniel´s campaign staff and some supporters began sorting through voter books on Thursday morning at the Hinds County courthouse. They were looking for any "irregularities". In Hinds County, poll workers used the

JACKSON — National Republican leaders trying to appeal to non-white voters are cringing over Senate candidate Chris McDaniel’s complaints that Democrats — most of whom are black in Mississippi — voted in the state’s GOP Senate runoff and helped six-term incumbent Thad Cochran capture the party nomination. “The more the tea party complains about how black voters vote for Republicans, I think they look racist and stupid,” said John Feehery, a GOP consultant in Washington. “We’re trying to get black voters. Now that one of our candidates got black voters, we should be happy about it.” Nearly 377,000 people voted in

Immigration: Borders serve governmental purposes — sometimes good, sometimes evil. Our failure to heed popular wishes to make the U.S. southern border impenetrable is now coming back to haunt us. Faced with a shortage of men and military material, China found that turning to defense and building The Great Wall was a comparatively cheap way of restoring military and economic strength. The Berlin Wall and other barriers erected by totalitarians protected communist regimes by preventing the massive emigration that would quickly have deprived them of the slaves without which they could not have operated. So who lost Iraq? The blame game mostly fingers the incompetent Iraqi prime minister, Nouri al-Maliki. Or is Barack Obama culpable for pulling out all American troops monitoring the success of the 2007-08 surge? Some still blame George W. Bush for going into Iraq in 2003 in the first place to remove Saddam Hussein. One can blame almost anyone, but one must not invent facts to support an argument. Do we remember that Bill Clinton signed into law the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998 that supported regime change in Iraq? He gave an eloquent speech on the dangers of Saddam Hussein´s weapons of

“What happened yesterday in Mississippi will resonate for years to come. It will become the battle cry, just like the Alamo,” one activist said. In the long, sordid war between the Republican Party “establishment” and tea party factions working to unseat those they see as ideologically wayward, nothing has infuriated conservative activists quite like what happened Tuesday in Mississippi.Following a three-week runoff campaign between 36-year Republican Sen. Thad Cochran and tea party-backed candidate Chris McDaniel, the incumbent defeated his challenger by about 6,400 votes — a bigger margin than in the first primary vote on June 3.

Unspeakable violence at the hands of ruthless coyotes, carrying out President Obama’s stunningly reckless new foreign policy. Of course, Mr. Obama did not issue a formal edict inviting each of the tens of thousands of children pouring over the border from Mexico. He didn’t have to. His executive action legalizing underage illegals in the U.S. was all the invitation they needed. And come they did. At this hot pace, we will have more than a quarter-million orphaned

With a surprisingly wide margin of victory, Congressman James Lankford won the Oklahoma Republican U.S. Senate primary, defeating former Speaker of the State House of Representatives T.W. Shannon by 23 points and avoiding a runoff election. Lankford now becomes the prohibitive favorite to replace outgoing Senator Tom Coburn, who is retiring with two years remaining in his current term. Thad Cochran’s political resurrection began with a campaign shakeup and ended with a Hail Mary television ad. Just three weeks ago, in the dead of night on June 3, the Mississippi senator’s staff sat shaken and dejected, crestfallen at the results of a primary that deprived the six-term incumbent of an electoral majority. With Cochran forced into a runoff fight against an aggressive and energetic challenger, a dark mood shadowed his backers in Washington and Mississippi.Yet almost immediately, the Cochran coalition began bouncing back. Even on that gloomy night of June 3, Cochran adviser Stuart Stevens was insisting to staffers: “We’re

Eventually, she lost her case. At one point Lerner even asked a targeted conservative if Pat Robertson prayed over him. (Sound familiar?) National conservative groups are angry after incumbent Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochran pulled off a victory in the state’s GOP run-off — likely because of his campaign’s outreach to Democratic voters. “It’s disgraceful that self-described GOP leaders like Mitch McConnell, John McCain, the Chamber of Commerce and the NRSC would champion a campaign platform of pork barrel spending and insider deal-making, while recruiting Democrats to show up at the polls,” Matt Kibbe of FreedomWorks said after the results came in. Tuesday’s closely-watched run-off came after conservative state Sen. Chris McDaniel edged Cochran in votes in the initial election earlier this month.

Republicans are in the strongest position to win back the Senate since losing it eight years ago. Over several months, the party has expanded its range of targeted seats, and the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) has helped defeat insurgents it didn’t want representing the GOP in the midterm elections. This sober realization came to Democrats on Wednesday, as Tuesday night’s primary results showed they cannot count on Tea Party candidates upsetting more-electable incumbents. And Democrats are increasingly realizing that President Obama’s approval rating will probably remain mired at 45 percent or lower until
