Texas Sen. Ted Cruz: mum on

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz adeptly sidestepped questions about how he´d fare among conservative Republicans in a South Carolina presidential primary. But he did say another Democrat in the White House would spell doom and gloom. "Eight more years of this, I don´t know it´s something this country comes back from," he said.Cruz, widely seen as the conservative face of last year´s government shutdown over funding what Republicans call "Obamacare," spent Tax Day talking to free enterprise advocates at The Citadel. "Liberty is under assault like never before," he told the crowd. "It seems this president is going down the Bill

This is the period in our electoral calendar that makes me want to throw things at the TV. Every media anchor nags and badgers Cruz and anyone else who looks electable to give a commitment about their candidacy. They are so desperate to get a headline for themselves, any headline. Go Senator Cruz - give them nothing until you want to later on !

Any real Republician should wait until the last minute to announce so that the lying media doesn´t have as much time to lie about them. Then never, ever talk to any of the lying media without making their own video to expose all the lies.

Love Cruz! He knows how to kick their butts in an interview. I just hope he continues to be smart enough to demand LIVE interviews rather than allowing them to edit.

NEW YORK - Rep. Charles Rangel charged in a debate Friday that his chief opponent in the Democratic primary for New York’s 13th Congressional District is running because he wants to be “the Jackie Robinson of the Dominicans in the Congress.” Rangel said state Sen. Adriano Espaillat should tell voters “just what the heck has he done besides saying he’s a Dominican?” Espaillat responded, “It saddens me that the congressman has to stoop and lower himself to these kind of unfounded attacks.” Rangel, Espaillat and a third candidate for the June 24 primary, Harlem pastor Michael Walrond, debated in the

FORT WORTH — Texas Republicans want to make a difference in the 2016 presidential race. So they changed their party rules Friday to create a process similar to what Texas Democrats have used. It’s known as the “Texas Two-Step,” a two-tiered system that awards delegates through both a popular vote on election night and also through post-election caucuses. Texas Republicans gave the OK to a new rule that calls for 38 of their delegates to the next national convention to be awarded to a presidential candidate — no matter which candidate wins the popular vote — based on a vote taken

Under early fire over his alleged affair with Monica Lewinsky, President Bill Clinton’s aides were urging him to avoid commenting on legal strategy and also to look more presidential, according to newly-disclosed White House documents the Clinton Presidential Library released Friday. In a one-page memo to the president dated Feb. 5, 1998, sent just 10 days after Clinton famously told the nation, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky,” Clinton aide Phil Caplan relayed this advice from White House counsel Chuck Ruff: “He recommends that you refrain from discussing any aspect of your legal strategy.”

It was a tale of two slow-jam-the-news partners last night on NBC. Nightly News host Brian Williams offered some very serious reporting on the video circulating of President Obama pumping iron. On the other hand,Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon offered a more humorous take on the video. Williams simply couldn’t fathom the privacy breach of such a video as the president’s work out regime is now being “critiqued” by millions -- well, probably more like billions. Gasp! Jimmy Fallon, seemingly more in tune with the American public, offered the more humorous – perhaps, more truthful side to the video, “I

Megyn Kelly hosted 6 members of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s platoon to discuss their reactions to the Bergdahl situation, and they were unanimous in their explanations of what they saw: Bergdahl deserted, he sought out the Taliban, and he deserves a court martial. In their effort to speak out about Bergdahl’s time in Afghanistan, they have been characterized as “swift boaters” and “psychopaths” by members of Obama’s Administration, who have also added that the platoon did not know what happened the night Bergdahl left. The platoon mates are passionate about finding justice and take affront at the Administration’s repeated claim that

McConnell will host a "run-off reception" benefiting Cochran, a six-term incumbent, on the evening of June 10 at the National Republican Senatorial Committee in Washington. In an email to party donors Friday, obtained by the Washington Examiner, McConnell warned that the outcome of the contest "will have a very real impact on our fight for the Majority," even though Mississippi is considered a Republican stronghold.

In this election year, when anger at Washington is boiling over, Capitol Hill is the last place any incumbent wants to be unless they absolutely have to. But Miller isn’t home in Pensacola, on the coast of Florida’s Panhandle, mingling with the 1st District voters the Republican has represented since 2001. House Republicans will take up an extension of highway programs, tax credits and appropriations over the next month, Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) told lawmakers in a Friday memo. Conspicuously missing from the memo was any mention of an immigration bill. The White House and Democrats have pressed Republicans in the House to move on immigration reform, but GOP leaders have come under heavy counter pressure from groups opposed to giving any form of "amnesty" to illegal immigrants. Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) has repeatedly said House Republicans don´t trust that President Obama would enforce laws to prevent illegal immigration.

U.S. Army Sgt. The reports indicate that Bergdahl´s relations with his Haqqani captors morphed over time, from periods of hostility, where he was treated very much like a hostage, to periods where, as one source told Fox News, "he became much more of an accepted fellow" than is popularly understood.
