If a nuclear bomb exploded in downtown
Washington, what should you do?

Funny question in the headline, yes? But since President Obama worries more about the threat of terrorists´ improvised nuclear device going off in a major American city than anything Russia can throw at us, I was wondering if the government had deigned to share with us citizens any tips for, you know, surviving something their own intelligence points to as the likeliest unlikely Black Swan event. Well, no. And yes. No — very few people in Washington, D.C., who work for the government have any idea what they would do if a 10-kiloton nuclear device exploded at the intersection of 16th and K

What does Barry have to worry about. The Muslim Brotherhood would give him a heads up and we´ll be reading a story on how he´s going to make another foreign trip taking the Wookie, his kids and mother in law, as well as renting planes to allow the MB to leave too.

With the escalating proliferation of nuclear weapons combined with the utter weakness of just about all Democrats and more than a few Republicans, I am afraid that such a catastrophe will happen in my lifetime.

Let me make it clear that I don´t want to see any city in America vaporized. Instead of vapid talk of celebration--very stupid from this above average bunch--my reaction would be to hope that we still had retaliatory power, and could turn the lights out permanently on the bast***s who perpetrated this evil on us.

Obama has indicated that he´d like to reduce our nuclear arsenal to several hundred warheads (which are deteriorating in their silos and storage facilities) or, preferably, to zero, which is my considered opinion of his worth. He´d leave us naked to aggression. Any politicians who´d expose us to deadly attack ought to enter history´s--and Hades´--Ninth Circle.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Democratic Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes of Kentucky has released her first attack ad, mischaracterizing Sen. Mitch McConnell´s voting record on overhauling Medicare. In the ad, a retired coal miner asks how he and his wife are supposed to afford the extra $6,000 in Medicare costs that McConnell voted for. But the plan McConnell supported in 2011 would not have increased that family´s Medicare costs because it exempted people who are in or near retirement from any changes to the program. It would have privatized Medicare over time, which some analysts said would have eventually increased costs. Shaky claims about

Fate hasn´t been kind to Hillary Clinton, at least not in its most recent phase. In 2008, when the plate was set for the national Democrats, she lost the nomination to Barack Obama, of scant years and no gravitas, who soared out of nowhere to wrench destiny from her on the unspecified promise of "change." Now, "change" has come, and people don´t like it. Iraq changed from a safe, stable ally (just ask Obama) to a terrorist haven, one of the reasons why, though no fellow Democrats seem likely to edge her, her chances of winning the White House seem dim.
