Warning of ´Fiscal Crisis´

Breitbart Big Government, by Wynton Hall

New figures by the Congressional Budget Office released on Monday reveal that over the next 10 years the U.S. debt-to-GDP ratio will double to 78%. Over the last four decades America´s average debt-to-GDP ratio was 39%. At the end of 2007, federal debt was just 35% of GDP. The CBO report says gross federal debt will soar from $17.7 trillion to $27 trillion over the next ten years. CBO warned of the dire consequences the nation´s debt will have if gone unchecked. "Such high and rising debt would have serious negative consequences," says the report. "Federal spending on interest payments

The democrats have brought the nation to ruin. And after all the spending, nothing to show for it. We can´t even defend ourselves without rebuilding our military, which has been brought to pre-WWII levels. Democrats brought us here, and should get the bill for it.

Is this the same CBO that couldn´t figure out if Obamacare would add to the debt or decrease it? Is this the same CBO that couldn´t figure out if Obamacare did add debt, how much debt would it add? That CBO?
Can they determine how much wood a woodchuck would chuck....never mind.

President Barack Obama said today in Poland that it was “absolutely” the case that the five Taliban he released from Guantanamo Prison in exchange for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl could try to return to efforts to harm the United States. “Is there the possibility of some of them trying to return to activities that are detrimental to us? Absolutely,” Obama said in Warsaw at an appearance with President Bronislaw Komorowski of Poland. “That’s been true of all the prisoners that were released from Guantanamo. There’s a certain recidivism rate that takes place. “ Obama announced on Saturday evening in the White

Was Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl a deserter, as some of his platoon mates told Fox News Monday night? "It doesn´t matter how he was taken captive," press reports quoted a Pentagon spokesman as saying. "It doesn´t matter under what circumstances he left. It doesn´t matter what his persuasions were, political or otherwise. We have an obligation to recover all of those who are missing in action," Rear Adm. John Kirby was quoted as saying on Monday. White House spokesman Jay Carney took a similar line. "The first and foremost thing that we have to recognize here is that Sergeant Bergdahl

It’s not enough to be a newsmaker these days, as the conservative Heritage Foundation surely has been with its vigorous opposition to federal budget deficits, Obamacare, immigrant “amnesty” and same-sex marriage. Nowadays, you have to cover the news, too. Or so says the Heritage Foundation, which on Tuesday will start doing just that. Call it think-tank journalism, or maybe just journalism. Heritage is calling it the Daily Signal, the Washington policy organization’s online helping of the day’s news, reported and edited straight up, the site’s architects promise. “Our sense is there are a lot of really good stories that go unreported

A slight majority of Americans favor a new House committee formed to investigate the Benghazi, Libya, terrorist attacks, saying they don´t believe all the questions regarding the incident have been answered, according to a new poll. A Washington Post-ABC News poll shows that 51 percent of respondents approve of the special panel, while 42 percent said the matter has been investigated enough. Those supporting the new investigation include 72 percent of Republicans, 31 percent of Democrats and 52 percent of political independents. Former CBS investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson is back to work, this time as a senior independent contributor for The Daily Signal, a brand-new news site run by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank. The website launched today, and one of the first reports it posted was one by Attkisson about government experimentation on premature babies. Heritage is launching the site to bring attention to “really good stories that go unreported or under-reported,” and in an interview with a Daily Signal news producer, Attkisson gets at the same goal; she wants to bring “underserved stories” to people’s attention in a forum

The sense of pride expressed by officials of the Obama administration at the release of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is not shared by many of those who served with him -- veterans and soldiers who call him a deserter whose "selfish act" ended up costing the lives of better men. "I was * off then and I am even more so now with everything going on," said former Sergeant Matt Vierkant, a member of Bergdahl´s platoon when he went missing on June 30, 2009. "Bowe Bergdahl deserted during a time of war and his fellow Americans lost their lives searching for him. Vierkant said Bergdahl needs to not only acknowledge his actions publicly

When Bob Bergdahl launched in Arabic, invoking Allah while standing next to President Obama in the White House Rose Garden, a number of Americans were startled. (snip) I am not knowledgeable enough to judge the claim of sanctifying the White House and claiming it for Islam, but I place a lot of stick in watching nonverbal cues, people’s quick reactions. And so, when our friends at iOwnTheWorld.com captured and enlarged President Obama’s reaction to Bergdahl’s invocation of Allah, it hit me hard. Watch for yourself and see if it means anything to you.

President Obama has given his own military a reason to hate him — not just be skeptical of him, but actively hate him — for releasing five senior Taliban commanders in exchange for a captured US soldier who appears to be a deserter. Here’s another. Those five Taliban commanders arrived in Qatar, under no evident guard of any kind, and got a hero’s welcome. The politics and legalities of all this are bad enough. We have a president knowingly breaking laws because he knows he can get away with it, and we have a government that has set the precedent

For five years, soldiers have been forced to stay silent about the disappearance and search for Bergdahl. Now we can talk about what really happened. It was June 30, 2009, and I was in the city of Sharana, the capitol of Paktika province in Afghanistan. As I stepped out of a decrepit office building into a perfect sunny day, a member of my team started talking into his radio. “Say that again,” he said. “There’s an American soldier missing?” There was. His name was Private First Class Bowe Bergdahl, the only prisoner of war in the Afghan theater of operations.

WASHINGTON -- Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl can expect a buoyant homecoming after five years in Taliban hands, but those in the government who worked for his release face mounting questions over the prisoner swap that won his freedom. Even in the first hours of Bergdahl´s handoff to U.S. special forces in eastern Afghanistan, it was clear this would not be an uncomplicated yellow-ribbon celebration. Five terrorist suspects also walked free, stirring a debate in Washington over whether the exchange will heighten the risk of other Americans being snatched as bargaining chips and whether the released detainees - several senior Taliban figures

From the moment the father of Bowe Bergdahl took the stage with President Barack Obama, it was clear the Bergdahls were not an average US military family. Sporting a long, bushy beard that he refused to trim since his son went missing in 2009, Bob Bergdahl spoke Pashto, Afghanistan´s main language, and also a few words of Arabic at the White House press conference announcing his son´s release. Just when you thought President Obama could not possibly be more of an emasculated, impotent cuckold, he releases five top-level al Qaeda terrorists from Guantanamo Bay in exchange for a sketchy U.S. soldier who once said he was “ashamed to be American.” The milquetoast president cut a deal with terrorists early Saturday — just before heading to the links for a five-hour round of golf. When he returned to the White House, he made a bombastic statement from the Rose Garden, but never mentioned he’d set free a handful of hard-core killers.
