Washington - William J. Burns, a career diplomat who led the Obama administration’s back-channel negotiations with Iran, is planning to step down from his job as the State Department’s second-ranking official in October, administration officials said on Friday. Now the deputy secretary of state, Mr. Burns has been a trusted diplomat in both Republican as well as Democratic administrations. He has twice delayed his retirement, most recently at the request of President Obama. Comments:
"Back-channel negotiations" means that he was doing questionable actions (in secret) against our allies at 0bama´s request & then got caught at it. Also, Congress might be interested in his relationship with Russia, possibly as 0bama´s bag man after his reelection.

Here, in another exclusive excerpt, Klein describes how Bill’s health is a preoccupation of the Clintons. A pair of black, armor-plated SUVs swung into a suburban cul-de-sac and crunched to a stop in the driveway of the Clintons’ home in Chappaqua, New York. A wall of burly Secret Service agents jumped out and surrounded the man who emerged from the lead vehicle. It was mid-summer 2013, and Bill Clinton looked shrunken and weary.

Facebook’s News Feed—the main list of status updates, messages, and photos you see when you open Facebook on your computer or phone—is not a perfect mirror of the world. But few users expect that Facebook would change their News Feed in order to manipulate their emotional state. We now know that’s exactly what happened two years ago. For one week in January 2012, data scientists skewed what almost 700,000 Facebook users saw when they logged into its service. Some people were shown content with a preponderance of happy and positive words; some were shown content analyzed as sadder than average.

What transpired in the Mississippi Senate run-off is a red line for many conservatives across the country, because the Republican Party establishment essentially took a civil war and escalated it to a war for independence. It’s one thing to oppose your base in a primary. It’s entirely another to despicably play the race card against your base, and bolster the legitimacy of the propaganda of our race-baiting opponents on the Left. But that’s exactly what the Kamikaze pilots running the GOP did. As a result, Chris McDaniel won Republican voters handily on Tuesday, but still lost the run-off statewide thanks
