Health Secretary Resigns
After Woes of HealthCare.gov

New York Times, by Michael D. Shear

WASHINGTON — Kathleen Sebelius, the health and human services secretary, is resigning, ending a stormy five-year tenure marred by the disastrous rollout of President Obama’s signature legislative achievement, the Affordable Care Act. Mr. Obama accepted Ms. Sebelius’s resignation this week, and on Friday morning he will nominate Sylvia Mathews Burwell, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, to replace her, officials said. The departure comes as the Obama administration tries to move beyond its early stumbles in carrying out the law, persuade a still-skeptical public of its lasting benefits,

Comments:
So she finally takes the fall. It is still an unmitigated disaster. There are plenty of Obama radicals to fill her shoes.

I think that Sebelius needs a change of climate from the Washington scene. Like in a dark and damp cell somewhere in the federal prison system. More to follow her, hopefully.

#5, you´ve got that right. Of course, he has to replace her with another woman. He can´t run his "war on women" theme and replace the incompetent Sebelius with a male. So he is getting a Harvard grad who apparently has no business experience. But Burell has been over at the OMB maniupulating statistics for the Administration. She knows nothing about health insurance industry or the healtcare industry. She is a bureaucrat.

Sebelius will surface as head of a state university system, or a billion-dollar foundation, or maybe a major NGO which eats tax dollars. Janet did.

The World Bank seems to be staffed, So does the Federal Reserve. Maybe Obama will be lucky and Ginsburg will depart before November. Then Kathleen can be put on the Supreme Court - a stretch I know.

The last few times she testified before congress, she was caught in several lies because she had a modicum of integrity and couldn´t keep up the façade and exposed the King for the Charlatan he is. And, unlike Holder, she had no race card to play.
She had to go.

Lawyers representing Dinesh D’Souza’s newest film, America, have fired off a letter to Google demanding that the search engine correct problems that they say are hampering the ability of consumers to figure out where the movie is playing. The letter claims that Google has been confusing America with 2016: Obama’s America, which was D’Souza’s first movie and has been out of theaters for two years, while Lionsgate released America on July 2 and it is currently playing in about 1,100 theaters nationwide. Google, according to the letter, has been "misdirecting many users who mistakenly believed the film was not playing in theaters.

The White House officially said Thursday what Twitter and MailOnline knew days beforehand: that President Barack Obama would travel to Colorado and Texas this week for a series of fundraisers. The events weren´t part of the president´s public schedule, but they became common knowledge after enterprising reporters obtained copies of exclusive invites for events with the president and shared them online. The omission from Obama’s public schedule wasn’t an anomaly. The president and his administration have made a habit out of telling reporters at the last minute about previously scheduled out-of-town trips, fundraisers and speaking engagements. House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) reportedly told President Barack Obama that there would be a good chance of passing a comprehensive amnesty bill in the next Congress, which the GOP may control. On June 24, when Boehner told Obama there would not be a vote on amnesty legislation this year, he reportedly told him "that he believed there was a good chance a comprehensive bill could pass in the next Congress." According to a National Journal report, Obama, when meeting with pro-amnesty advocates last week to inform them that he would be pressing ahead with executive actions to ease deportations,

The White House on Monday insisted most of the thousands of unaccompanied minors flooding across the border will be deported. The firm position came as President Obama was set to travel to Texas, the center of a growing firestorm over the nation’s inability to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the country. Obama is set to hold fundraisers in Dallas and Austin during the two-day trip, but he has no plans to visit the border, where officials have struggled for months to contain a wave of minors seeking refuge in the United States. The heart of the Obama Administration’s policy to overthrow Assad in Syria has been the Free Syrian Army (FSA), which has been provided by U.S. taxpayer-financed weapons training, small arms, and most recently, TOW anti-tank missiles. This has been done under the pretense that the State Department has carefully selected the FSA as “vetted moderates”, ensuring that those weapons wouldn’t end up in the hands of Al-Qaeda-affiliated groups or the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS). Many, including myself, have scoffed at this policy since the State Department has a poor track record in recent decades of identifying “vetted moderates”, expressing
