Lavish travel expenses revealed as
the Obamas hit the road again

President Obama and wife Michelle are back on the road again, this time in Texas to harvest more Democrat dollars for the looming November midterm election. The previously-scheduled fundraising foray was tacked onto Obama´s memorial speech Wednesday at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas. Why let a nationally-televised shooting memorial go to waste when you can use such an official activity to cut the Democratic Party´s cost of political transportation on Air Force One for two fundraisers in Houston and another one today in Austin?

Well, with nothing of significance happening in the country and around the world, why not fill idle time with a little quiet fundraising?

And the best part, we (the suckers) get to foot the bill for AF1 travel. Thats why he stopped off at Fort Hood, not because he cares about soldiers, but because he can then "add-on" the fundraiser stops at no charge to the Dem party.

We would have paid for the AF1 travel anyway since he was scheduled to speak today along with the former Presidents, an official event. The article somehow forgot to mention that. And yes, I think the fundraisers after the Ft. Hood memorial service were inappropriate and should have been cancelled.

He didn´t have to speak at Ft. Hood. He was already scheduled for the fundraisers when the shootings occurred.

Ft. Hood was tacked on to his fundraising. A serendipitous happening at Ft. Hood saved the Democrat Party a lot of money.

Please, don´t be bamboozled by O&Co!!!

It is apparent to me they think they are entitled to whatever they want.

I want them to pay back every penny...and hope that WHEN they leave office our new leadership takes it from them by force...as they have done it to us.

Hello, this is Joni Ernst. I’m a mother and grandmother, a soldier and proud to be Iowa’s Republican nominee for U.S. Senate. I get asked all the time what made me want to join the military. And the answer is simple. When I was attending college, I went on an agricultural exchange to the Soviet Union. I saw what a nation without freedom looks like. I saw what happens to people when they lose their liberty. When I came home, I decided that it wasn’t enough for me to simply enjoy freedom and liberty. I had to do my part

Hi, everybody. This week, I spent some time in Colorado and Texas, talking with people about what’s going on in their lives. One was Elizabeth Cooper, a college junior this fall. She wrote to tell me something I hear often: how hard it is for middle-class families like hers to afford college. And she shared something I know many of you feel when you wonder what’s going on in Washington. She said she feels “not significant enough to be addressed, not poor enough for people to worry [about], and not rich enough to be cared about.” I ran for President to fight for Americans just like Elizabeth — people who work hard, do everything right,

When Barack Obama was first running for the White House, way back in 2007 when a billion dollars seemed like a lot of money, he presented himself as the Great Uniter. Someone whose freshness, mixed race and background would bridge America´s inherent diversities and even end the "bitter, partisan divide" afflicting Washington. [Snip] At one time or another Obama has pitted Americans against each other by class, education, income, union membership, birth control use, tax status, climate beliefs, gender and wealth. This morning comes a Gallup Poll revealing that Obama splits Americans by religion.

Another busy campaign day on the road for President Obama. Fundraisers in three cities. Speeches. Photo-op games of pool. Filling up his time for the lame duck’s last 924 days. But POTUS ran into a tall problem, a professional pol named Rick Perry, longest-serving Texas governor ever. After collecting coin in Denver, Obama hoped to breeze through Dallas and Austin scooping up more from gullible donors for his hopeless bid to keep the Senate in Harry Reid´s shaky hands on Nov. 4. But Perry´s been preparing the ground for his own media offensive over the disgraceful inundation of suckered humans

A land where the people rule, and where the common man or woman can advance themselves and the common good. Nowhere in the Declaration of Independence does the historic document call itself the Declaration of Independence. No matter. The 1,317 words in this enduring and then-revolutionary statement of principles and universal human rights were largely written by Thomas Jefferson between June 8 and June 28, 1776. [Snip] No surprise, the 33-year-old lawyer had a reputation as an intellectual, a skilled writer, multilingual speaker and staunch democrat. Indeed, it was Jefferson as POTUS No. 3 who introduced the political handshake as a gesture of equality among American citizens. The revered Gen. Washington deemed such common contact beneath the office.

At his first Cabinet meeting of 2014 -- a "Year of Action," Obama promised -- the president declared, "I´ve got a pen and I´ve got a phone." That meant Obama intended to go around Congress, the equal branch of government he once vowed to work with, to get stuff done. This Barack Obama is a real piece of work. As the nation´s alleged leader, he manufactures crises, like a good Alinsky Acolyte would. As the commander-in-chief of the United States, he ignores problems, allowing them to fester until they become serial crises that he then employs to distract a lazy media and public attention from other crises. It´s the M.O. of B.O.. And, folks, it doesn´t look to get any better in the 933 endless days left. Let us count the crises:

Despite fiery statements issued by Hamas spokesmen over the past 48 hours, it was obvious Tuesday night that the Islamist movement was searching for ways to rid itself of the current escalation. Hamas feels that it has been forced into a confrontation with Israel – one that it did not want at this stage because of its increased isolation and financial crisis. The massive Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours have surprised Hamas and other Palestinian groups. Hamas apparently expected a limited response to the recent rocket attacks on Israeli cities and towns. But as the

The facts are simple. The IRS systematically targeted conservative and Tea Party groups after their activism proved decisive in the 2010 midterm elections—Obama’s famous “shellacking.” The effects of this targeting were widespread. Some Tea Party groups were neutered in the months before the 2012 presidential election. Few of the explanations or justifications of this targeting provided by IRS leaders and Obama administration officials have held up. IRS officials at first denied that any targeting had taken place. That was false. They later claimed that the targeting had involved only low-level employees in the Cincinnati office. That was false. They argued
