Syria´s Assad says political

DAMASCUS: The “project of political Islam has failed,” Syria´s President Bashar al-Assad said on Monday, calling for the separation of religion from politics, state television said. Assad´s regime has been battling an uprising that has come to be dominated by Islamists, ranging from moderates to radicals, who want to see Syria run as an Islamic state. “The project of political Islam has failed, and there should be no mixing between political and religious work,” he said in comments on the 67th anniversary of the founding of his Baath party. Assad refers to all those fighting against him as “terrorists” and has said that

Political islam?? I don´t get it. Islam has always been political. It is an all-encompassing system of law and regulation that covers everything they do, but most of all it is a cult of hatred and conquest centered around the domination of all other civilizations. It is a fascist political state without borders that relies upon force and intolerance using death or subjugation of all those who do not follow their rules.

Obama has been consistently on the side of political Muslim extremists like the brotherhood, so I have no problem with this.

Uh oh. Now what?

Perhaps some "tyrants" like Assad, Mubarak, Gaddafi, were (are) useful for keeping at bay something ever so much worse. Perhaps Clapper, Obama, Hillary, and the rest fell for the Muslim Brotherhood BS that they are now "largely secular" (Clapper). The Egyptians tore the mask off THAT lie. Or perhaps the American left (meaning Code Pink, Obama´s Chicago leftist pals, and the other American leftists who were spotted in Cairo making nice-nice with the Brotherhood when Mubarak fell) really DID knowingly make an unholy alliance with muslim jihadists to bring down the West together. What a filthy bit of treachery.

So are Obama´s crowd gullible, naïve, and incompetent, or ruthless anti-American traitors? There´s no other way to have it.

There was not the destruction of these Middle Eastern countries until obama and his muslim brotherhood associates started the Arab Spring. Not only was Media Benjamin helping with the uprisings but it was reported Bill Ayres and Bernadette Dohrn were there helping to organize the uprisings.
Wonder if Benjamin is still in the Turkish jail after she hollered of getting her arm broken in Egypt. They can keep her.

For decades Syria temporized in foreign affairs and showed little interest in hurting the US. That was good enough for me.

The Baath Party is, at least in theory, socialist and secular. In practice it just wants to hold power for itself.

An Islamic regime in Syria will not improve anything.

After years of terrorism that resulted in, among other things, the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Centers, Pentagon, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania, murder of Americans in Benghazi, and the brutal hacking death of off-duty soldier, Lee Rigby in London, the main stream media is finally sounding the alarm on the religion President Obama claims America “shares common principles of justice and progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.” From a beheading in Iraq to the hard-line repression of religious freedoms in Sudan, a string of extremist acts in recent weeks have raised the worrying spectre of

Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi charged that House Republicans are floating a lawsuit against President Barack Obama only to distract from the GOP’s do-nothing agenda. Speaker John Boehner told Republicans this week that he is weighing a lawsuit over Obama’s use of executive action — a possibility Pelosi called “subterfuge.” “They are doing nothing here so they have to give some aura of activity,” the California Democrat said. House Republicans contend that Obama is misusing his executive powers by side-stepping Congress on immigration and other policies, including a decision to extend family leave to same-sex couples and bar federal contractors from discriminating against

The United Nations on Wednesday issued an unusual call for military force, with a senior U.N. official saying the advance of Islamist militants throughout the north and east of Iraq must be dealt with militarily, though success will hinge on a broad political consensus. Nickolay Mladenov, who as U.N. special envoy to Iraq heads the world body´s political mission there, said Iraq´s key southern oil reserves remained safe. But he raised the estimated civilian death toll to at least 1,300 since the recent fighting began, up from Tuesday´s estimate of more than 1,000. Militants attacked one of Iraq´s largest air bases and seized control of several small oilfields on Wednesday as U.S. special forces troops and intelligence analysts arrived to help Iraqi security forces counter a mounting Sunni insurgency. Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, who is fighting for his job and is under international pressure to create a more inclusive government, said he supported starting the process of forming a new cabinet within a week. In northern Iraq the Sunni militants extended a two-week advance that has been led by the hardline Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) but also includes an amalgam

He said President Obama was thoroughly considering “every option that is available,” including drone strikes, and he stressed that “we are deeply committed

South Korea´s government expressed surprise at the move as the pictures clearly showed the inside of one of the North´s most powerful ships. The South´s Yonhap News Agency said the "rusty, green submarine" was thought to be a 1,800-ton Soviet-built Romeo-class vessel, built in the 1950s. Your first thought might well be, “Why do we need that? Liberalism is ruining America every day.” Point well taken, but that’s because you have absorbed the idea that “liberalism” means ever-expanding government that takes more and more of our income, spends it on thousands of wasteful special interest programs, and increasingly controls our lives. You think that “liberalism” means living under the heels of Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and their bureaucratic minions. There certainly is nothing to celebrate in that. But that conception of liberalism is an Orwellian perversion: war is peace, freedom is slavery, and now liberalism means omnipotent government. The

A dozen years ago, Congress authorized President George W. "So it is the policy of the United States to seek and support the growth of democratic movements and institutions in every nation and culture, with the ultimate goal of ending tyranny in our world," Bush said. President Obama is now reaching terminal velocity, like a skydiver plunging toward earth. Except he doesn’t have a parachute. There’s a mighty splat coming soon. With his approval rating at 40 percent, down 6 points from early June, and just 29 percent of Americans convinced the country is on the “right track,” the president is doubling down on his strategy of blaming Republicans for his failures. And he’s shifting into hyperpartisan drive, traveling the country to campaign for Democrats, many of whom wish he’d just stay away. Lois Lerner, the controversial director of the tax-exempt organizations division at the Internal Revenue Service, has a long sordid history of targeting conservatives. Eventually, she lost her case. At one point Lerner even asked a targeted conservative if Pat Robertson prayed over him. (Sound familiar?) In 1996, while at the FEC, Lois Lerner harassed Republican Senate candidate Al Salvi and made him this outrageous offer, “Promise me you will never run for office again, and

Republicans are in the strongest position to win back the Senate since losing it eight years ago. Over several months, the party has expanded its range of targeted seats, and the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) has helped defeat insurgents it didn’t want representing the GOP in the midterm elections. This sober realization came to Democrats on Wednesday, as Tuesday night’s primary results showed they cannot count on Tea Party candidates upsetting more-electable incumbents. And Democrats are increasingly realizing that President Obama’s approval rating will probably remain mired at 45 percent or lower until

A shocking new report from the Center for Immigration Studies claims to prove that every single new job created in America for the last fourteen years has gone to immigrants, legal and illegal. This would fly in the face of those who claim that immigration is an economic boon to native born Americans: The CIS report found that over the last 14 years, people who were born in the United States held 114.8 million jobs in 2000, and held 114.7 million jobs in 2014, a drop of 127,000.
