Christians form human shield around

Telegraph [UK], by Tom Phillips

Wenzhou - Thousands of Chinese Christians have mounted an extraordinary, round-the-clock defence of a church in a city known as the ´Jerusalem of the East´ after Communist Party officials threatened to bulldoze their place of worship. In an episode that underlines the fierce and long-standing friction between China´s officially atheist Communist Party and its rapidly growing Christian congregation, Bible-carrying believers this week flocked to the Sanjiang church in Wenzhou hoping to protect it from the bulldozers. Their 24-hour guard began earlier this week when a demolworshippers say cost around 30 million yuan (£2.91

I clicked on this expecting to see a little church. This church is like a cathedral.

The communists will need more than a bulldozer to demolish it, and the demolition of the church would not demolish the people´s faith.

#3 is sadly correct. Talk about Christians who take their dedication to the Lord Jesus Christ seriously. This is amazing, courageous and reading the quotes, these precious people MEAN it. They will die rather than allow God´s house to be desecrated.

How soon will our own communist leaders begin to bulldoze our Christian churches? They have already neutered our right to conscientious objection and are removing public crosses. Will you and your fellow parishioners also surround your church to protect it?

The South Dakota Republican Party state convention passed a resolution calling for the impeachment of President Barack Obama Saturday. The resolution says Obama has "violated his oath of office in numerous ways." It specifically cites the release of five Taliban combatants in a trade for captive U.S. soldier Bowe Bergdahl, Obama´s statement that people could keep insurance companies, and recent EPA regulations on power plants. "Therefore, be it resolved that the South Dakota Republican Party calls on our U.S. Representatives to initiate impeachment proceedings against the president of the United States," the resolution reads. As the case that resulted in the arrest of a Louisiana mother of two was transferred from one section to another at the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, details of the actual suspect were replaced with information about the woman who ended up being wrongfully arrested twice, according to investigative notes from the Public Defender’s Office. Ashley Nicole Chiasson, 28, spent a total of five weeks in Clay County jail after she was arrested for grand theft in January and again four months later for writing bad checks. As fast as it can, Google is sealing up cracks in its systems that Edward J. Snowden revealed the N.S.A. had brilliantly exploited. Early exposure to air pollution causes harmful changes in the brain seen in autism and schizophrenia, research has shown. The findings in mice follow previous research linking traffic pollution and higher rates of autism in children. As in humans, it was mostly male mice that were affected. Besides suffering physical damage to their brains, they performed poorly in tests of short-term memory, learning ability and impulsivity. In a series of experiments, scientists exposed mice to levels of air pollution typically found in medium-sized cities during the first two weeks after birth. Mice examined 24 hours after their last exposure displayed

Just three weeks ago, in the dead of night on June 3, the Mississippi senator’s staff sat shaken and dejected, crestfallen at the results of a primary that deprived the six-term incumbent of an electoral majority. With Cochran forced into a runoff fight against an aggressive and energetic challenger, a dark mood shadowed his backers in Washington and Mississippi.Yet almost immediately, the Cochran coalition began bouncing back. Republicans are in the strongest position to win back the Senate since losing it eight years ago. Over several months, the party has expanded its range of targeted seats, and the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) has helped defeat insurgents it didn’t want representing the GOP in the midterm elections. National conservative groups are angry after incumbent Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochran pulled off a victory in the state’s GOP run-off — likely because of his campaign’s outreach to Democratic voters. “It’s disgraceful that self-described GOP leaders like Mitch McConnell, John McCain, the Chamber of Commerce and the NRSC would champion a campaign platform of pork barrel spending and insider deal-making, while recruiting Democrats to show up at the polls,” Matt Kibbe of FreedomWorks said after the results came in. Tuesday’s closely-watched run-off came after conservative state Sen. Chris McDaniel edged Cochran in votes in the initial election earlier this month.
