You Can’t Spell “Progressive” without an “S.S.”
Canada Free Press, by Tim Dunkin

Sinclair Lewis was wrong—when fascism came to America, it was actually wrapped in a rainbow flag and wearing an ascot. How else can one describe the ongoing left-wing commitment to the stamping out of free speech, whenever that speech contradicts the gay agenda, as well as other parts of the “progressive” platform? With the resignation of newly-minted Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich, the “progressive” Left, especially its social wing, has once again shown itself to be the enforcers a political correctness in speech and thought that ought to be chilling to any person who actually cares about individual liberty. It’s time to come

I´m reading "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" right now and am convinced that the Obama administration is using it for a handbook--right down to the 99%.

Hate to get preachy on you but biblical scripture had this all predicted a long time ago. (1)Man will come to hate good and love evil. And (2) things will get worse and worse "then the end will come." Looks to me things are right on track. And when the end begins, what better illustration of justice could there be than the California coast falling off in the Pacific Ocean? They can all then run to Nancy Pelosi.

"Is that too much to ask ?"

Then restaurants, parks, offices, living-rooms, apartment buildings, parking lots........

I´m not a smoker but Gawddammit, the Left NEVER admits to it´s true ambitions going in.

The root word for totalitarian is total.
Total control.
Guvvies want total control of all of our lives. They want to control who lives and who dies. They want to control who gets treated and who does not.
They don´t like people who work; all should be dependent on guvvies.
This system has never worked and will never work.
But it has brought death and despair to hundreds of millions. So go for it.

Much like DeQuincy’s autobiographical Confessions of an Opium Eater, a true Marxist is addicted to Revolution. Why? Because only through revolution can a liberal hope to overturn government enough to force his fellow citizens into embracing socialism. But why the desperate demand for all persons to acquiesce to communism? Because Marxism is a religion, and a violently missionary one at that. All history of Marxist movements proves this point. Further, Islam’s model of capitulate, or suffer, is a handy metaphor for leftism’s position. After all, no person should be allowed to live without suffering once the god has been rejected.

Stop looking to Obama and his iconic Friday Dump for the news. Look instead to the Good News, the one that has, most frustratingly to Obama, been there long before he ever came into power; the one that dogs him as he sets about the deliberate destruction of America, and the one that will still be there long after he’s gone. Because it isn’t a packaged commercial product but rather a way of life for millions, the Good News is something not even BHO cannot possibly change. With destructive policies that seem never to end, Obama taunts and mentally tortures We the People,

Is it mainly because America is—against all odds—still boldly standing even after the unprecedented abuse raining down on it from the dysfunctional 44th ‘president’ of the USA that Obama is unleashing all enemies on her? Even with ObamaCare knocking millions of average people off vital health insurance; even in the face of Obama hollowing out a mighty American military the rest of the world depends on, ordinary Americans still dare to fight back against an out of control BHO. So in his sixth painful year in office, Obama has unleashed their most vicious enemies against We the People. In the space of

The young men of color don’t find time to complain but only to keep on going. It is certain that none of them ever land an interview with President Bush’s daughter, Jenna Bush Hager. Someone is luring thousands of children to come on their own to America where women and children will be welcomed with open arms. The alarming estimated 80,000-strong exodus of children traveling without parents or other relatives, puts them at risk from “coyote” smugglers who are bringing Central Americans to the U.S. illegally by telling their relatives that children can take advantage of the program and find work in the United States. Folk suspect Bergdahl of cutting and running from his own military base in Afghanistan. Folk can see for themselves via the the Internet how Obama cuts and runs from the blowback that came in like an ill Afghan wind for trading an anti-American soldier for five top Taliban terrorists. The Taliban are chortling, already dishing out braggadocio about potential for their next American kidnap. (Time, June 5, 2014)

Since March 31, a United States Marine has been in custody in a Mexican prison. Sergeant Andrew Tahmooressi was detained after making a wrong turn near the Mexican border. He told the Mexican police that there was no way to make a U-turn on the road he was traveling, thus he entered Mexican territory by mistake. At the time of his arrest, Tahmooressi was in possession of three legally registered guns. The guns were safely stored in his truck, so the Marine was no reckless lawbreaker trying to commit crimes in Mexico. Tahmooressi told the Mexican authorities about the guns and followed their instructions.

The South Dakota Republican Party state convention passed a resolution calling for the impeachment of President Barack Obama Saturday. The resolution says Obama has "violated his oath of office in numerous ways." It specifically cites the release of five Taliban combatants in a trade for captive U.S. soldier Bowe Bergdahl, Obama´s statement that people could keep insurance companies, and recent EPA regulations on power plants. "Therefore, be it resolved that the South Dakota Republican Party calls on our U.S. Representatives to initiate impeachment proceedings against the president of the United States," the resolution reads. By 10 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2012, when Hillary Clinton received a call from President Obama, she was one of the most thoroughly briefed officials in Washington on the unfolding disaster in Benghazi, Libya. (Snip) She had no doubt that a terrorist attack had been launched against America on the anniversary of 9/11. However, when Hillary picked up the phone and heard Obama’s voice, she learned the president had other ideas in mind. With less than two months before Election Day, he was still boasting that he had al?Qaeda on the run. If the truth about Benghazi became known, it would blow that argument out of the water.

I still think President Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, even though for 14 years he allowed his literary agent to circulate a bio blurb stating he was born in Kenya, and even though for many years he attended a church where his pastor friend shouted such things as “God damn America!” I still think that he just pretended to be Kenyan to be cool, to sell books and, perhaps, to get a foreign student scholarship at those colleges from which he refuses to release his transcripts. He’s probably not actually Kenyan. But as I speculated

The decision this past week by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to rescind federal trademark protections for the Redskins may ultimately tip the balance in the controversy over the 80-year-old name of Washington’s football team. If so, that would be a shame. Not because there’s insufficient reason to consider the name “disparaging to Native Americans,” as the patent office determined. Many of us recoil at the reference to skin color as a team identity. The problem is that the Redskins case is just the latest example of a federal agency going beyond its brief to inappropriately insert itself in

The feeling is mutual. Obama made excuses not to talk to Bill, while the first lady privately sniped about Hillary. The least loved institution in America today is the U.S. Senate, and one of the reasons it is reviled is a zero-sum approach to women´s medical care. It´s time we changed that and adopt modern policies that make sense instead of using women´s medical issues as an election-year power play. One of the most rational ways for Washington to break this gridlock is to approve oral contraception for over-the-counter purchases by adults. It reported that party members “from a broad ideological spectrum” supported the decision to deploy 300 military advisers as terrorists threatened Baghdad. Readers who ventured beyond the frothy claim were rewarded with this hidden gem: “Senate Democrats actually did not watch the president’s speech on Thursday, instead talking energy policy over lunch.” In other words, anything Obama said was good enough for them.
