Google executive resigns from
World Vision board to protest gay policy

Washington Times, by Jessica Chasmar

Google executive Jacquelline Fuller has resigned in protest from the board of international poverty ministry World Vision amid a growing call for her departure after the group’s decision to reinstate its policy excluding gay Christians from becoming missionaries. World Vision had announced last month that its American branch would begin hiring people in same-sex unions who dedicate their lives to God. Just two days later, the group reversed the decision under pressure from evangelical leaders. “The board acknowledged it made a mistake and chose to revert to our longstanding policy requiring sexual abstinence for all single employees and

Can anyone ever trust World Vision again? That was the gist of an article in a Catholic publication a few days ago. I used to love to buy a few chickens or even a goat for people served by World Vision when I could afford to give a little extra, but if I can find another organization that provides such farm animals, etc. I will give them a try.

I would clarify some poster´s statements. There are gay Christians who are celibate. It´s so hard for people to be celibate that I hold celibate gays in higher esteem than many other people. There are no sexually active gay Christians, however.

Tolerance is on a roll.

Fuller may have bailed out on World Vision from conviction. Or was it simply to keep her job at Google?

A dated term is "Guilt By Association". I remember it from the McCarthy era. Sometimes phrased as "Guilt By Accusation".

But their depravity will never be accepted or acceptable.

Opposition to sodomite marriage:

I oppose sodomite marriage because, when the world-wide caliphate assumes world-wide dominance/control, all those so identified as being sodomites and married to a sodomite will be killed as per an hadith by the ‘prophet mohammad’, namely: ‘let the sodomite, and the one who allows himself to be sodomized, be killed.

Anyone who opposes this hadith of the ‘prophet mohammad’ is simply thumbing his/her nose at the ‘prophet’ and is, therefore, insulting the ‘prophet’.

Should YOU wish to persecute me for my opposition to sodomite marriage, I would necessarily have to inform the world (read: followers of the ‘religion of peace’) that YOU are insulting the ‘prophet’ and, when they (read: followers of the ‘religion of peace’) show up to exact ‘payment’ by separating YOUR cranial vault from YOUR thorax, please, do NOT expect me to intervene.

This should really tick off the libtards.

For those who decide to send Firefox down the drain (as I have) try ´Opera´ as a web browser.

#11,if someone is truly celibate, how can they say they are gay, let alone a celibate gay Christian? For one, human nature being what it is, one thing leads to another.

Second, it´s like calling someone a ´temperate alcoholic Christian´ or a ´celibate nymphomanic Christian´. Implicit in these labels is that it is alright to identify yourself with a tendency and be a Christian as long as you don´t act out on the impulse. The problem with that is the Christian faith clearly finds homosexuality (as well as avarice, promiscuity, gluttony, compulsive gambling, etc) as a sin, as self-destructive behavior and a barrier to our relationship with God. Even coveting these tendencies is a sin.

However, if one is truly fighting these tendencies, our active relationship with God through His Son, drives them away. Having said this, why would anyone still identify themselves as a celibate gay Christian?

The World Health Organization is reporting that the rate of HIV infection among young gays is growing so rapidly the agency is recommending for the first time that men who have sex with men take anti-viral drugs as a preventative. Gay men in their twenties are too young to remember the panic in the gay community when HIV/AIDs was first discovered in the 1980s. With the advent of anti-viral drugs that make HIV, at least until the disease mutates, chronic but manageable, young men may be taking more chances sexually. Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon (D) has signed legislation that provides for a task force to write new education standards that will eventually replace the Common Core in his state. Nixon’s office announced his approval of the measure Monday, the last possible day the governor could take action on bills passed earlier this year, local news KMBC.com reports. The Republican-led Missouri legislature, which has battled the standards since their adoption in 2010, approved HB 1490 23-6 in the state Senate and 135-10 in the state House. Originally, the bill was intended to ban the Common Core standards entirely. Increasing numbers of
