This Rat Was Just Casually

The NYC Dunkin´ Donuts location at 37th Street and 8th Avenue has some explaining to do after a video surfaced earlier this week showing a rat just doing rat things on top of some pastries. The donut-fed monster was not alone, according to the man who filmed the video. "My phone ran out of power, or I would´ve filmed the outright nine deep rat assault which followed the action above," wrote Pjayone. "The items in the video that are being besieged upon by the rats were to be sold for that mornings breakfast rush. The events you see in videos happened at

Almost all Dunkin Donuts are run by people from Muslim countries or India. The places are filthy and the service is terrible. The same thing is happening at Exxon stations and most motel chains. The USA is turning into a dump .

As a retired professional exterminator---I have seen rats in quickie stores, mice in hospital cafeterias, cockroaches in Chinese and Thai restaurants ---you would not believe the number of fancy restaurants and name-brand eateries that are infested. I have watched as owners and cooks swat roaches with cooking utensils and then go right back to cooking with them and never wash them...I know of only a few places I will eat. Arbys was one of the cleanest, so was Applebees and Ruby Tuesdays. But, I refuse to eat at any strip mall Mexican or Oriental joint...even in malls...Yuk!

This is not an uncommon problem...believe me!

Bigger surprise, there are rats in the halls of Congress and some have found their way into the White House.

These are of the genus democ, which is a mutant spin-off of the Norway rat -- much more difficult to exterminate according to the pest control people.

From the size, this looks to be a young animal, probably only about six to eight months old. The older ones learn to avoid being in places where they can be seen, but the young ones are much more inquisitive - which is one reason that in the wild, only about one rat in ten will ever make it to its first birthday.

But while the political debate has focused on U.S. immigration enforcement, a key economic factor has been lost in the clamor. Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras, which are supplying three-quarters of the latest cross-border flood, are bucking a trend in Latin America toward stronger local economies based on sound reforms and security.
