Hundreds of cases of potential
voter fraud uncovered in North Carolina

State elections officials in North Carolina are investigating hundreds of cases of potential voter fraud after identifying thousands of registered voters with personal information matching those of voters who voted in other states in 2012. Elections Director Kim Strach told state lawmakers at an oversight hearing Wednesday that her staff has identified 765 registered North Carolina voters who appear to have cast ballots in two states during the 2012 presidential election.

Comments:
I cannot understand anyone who has a problem with requiring voter ID. You have to show ID to get a library card. You have to show ID to get on an airplane, etc, etc. I am not convinced that anybody beyond State level is trying to do anything about this very real National problem. The DC Establishment just doesn´t give a toot.

I am a North Carolina transplant, and am so not surprised about voter fraud here.

I personally know 2 committed supporters of Obama who currently reside in NC and voted for the LightBringer. They were so ectstatic to do so that they also voted for him in NY, using their old address.

The DOJ has already made it clear that Obama supporters may vote 6 times without fear of prosecution.

Looks like another 765 cheaters who will be granted amnesty.

This does not surprise me. Western North Carolina is home to a huge flock of hummingbirds who come up from Florida around Easter and stay until around Halloween. They keep their Florida domicile for income tax purposes and thus have Florida drivers licenses but they own homes, usually quite lavish homes in the mountains. Documents such s utility bills and property tax bills could serve as ID for the NC voter registration. Like many of those with more money than brains, some of these hummers are rabid supporters of all things Democrat.

In ohio a women admitted voting 6 times for the "won". No conviction, she just gets away with it.
We knew this was going to happen when it was overheard him saying saying that he would have more flexibility after the election. He knew then the fix was in
And so did many others! 4 million people did not stay away from voting..that´s just an excuse for all the fraudulent voting. Trying to hide the illegal votes

I suspect (actually more than suspect but without hard evidence at my fingertips...) that many of these duplicate voters are college students, both in-state and out-of-state, who were already registered at their legal home voting district and also registered using dorm or off campus addresses. Massive turn out the vote efforts here in Greensboro at UNC-Greensboro (17,000+)and NC A & T (10,000+). Approx 189,000 enrolled at just the 10 largest universities in NC in 2008 - wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_universities_in_North_Carolina_by_enrollment - and we know who barely carried NC in that election and brought along our current Dem senator, Kay Hagan.

I´m a big supporter of requiring ID, but it won´t solve the problems that come with early voting and absentee ballots. And now some states are talking about online voting? Talk about opportunity for significant fraud! I have no longer have any faith in the process. I believe all voting should be in person, in a single 24-hour period, with ID and a dip of the thumb in ink that will not wash off for at least 2 days. Exceptions should be very limited and rare, such as for active military.

Out of State students should use the absentee ballot from their home State - only. The group that did this study would serve us well if they checked border State colleges as they did in their NC study.

When Republicans lose elections they start convincing themselves the elections were stolen. Richard Nixon set the pattern back in 1962 when he blamed the media for his loss in California. The info from NC is not conclusive and it comes through a very partisan news medium.
Even if some fraud is found that does not mean that Romney really won the election.
Do Republicans ever engage in election fraud?

My son became a resident in North Carolina and went to college there. He later moved to Wyoming. In 2008 we got a note from the NC voting registrar that he was still registered in NC.

I wonder if some of the duplicates were people legitimately voting in their new state while Dems used old voter info and voted in NC for them. I wouldn´t put it past the crooks like ACORN and others who could get voter roll information.

Republicans swept NC in the last two elections, #11. They might be voting Republican in more than one state. Care yet?

The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. They’ve just learned they will no longer be allowed to buy Chick-fil-A

“Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security. Due to a combination of availability, portability and criminal usage the following five types of guns are the country's most dangerous. School Shootings: Widely Reported Tragedies Since 2000 - Using firearm trace data from the ATF, as well as FBI homicide records, we determined the types of guns most often recovered from crime scenes and/or used in murders. Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. It had to come sometime, and it came in one very bad week for the Democrats: that the many big problems with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama finally grew too great for the press to ignore. Obama in his own different way is heading towards Nixon-like levels of weirdness, as, beaten down by the failures regarding his ventures, he appears to have quit his own job. A.B.
