Read to the end. A female military police officer shot him when he drew his weapon at a second location. His weapon wasn´t registered. Government never examines themselves when dreaming up new rules.

The crackdown on unauthorized mobile-phone charges that led to a federal complaint against T-Mobile US Inc. (TMUS:US) this week poses a threat to other U.S. carriers that fail to stamp out the practice and offer refunds. The Federal Trade Commission filed a suit this week accusing T-Mobile US Inc. of placing “bogus charges onto customers’ bills” for items such as flirting tips, horoscopes and celebrity gossip. Vermont Attorney General William Sorrell said in an interview he may seek to get reimbursements from all the top wireless providers for fees from the practice known as cramming -- and other states may

Canceled. Rescheduled. As Hurricane Arthur gyrates up the East Coast, beachfront Fourth of July celebrations are falling flat -- and that could save lives, if it keeps revelers out of the water. "This is no time to put your stupid hat on," North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory told CNN´s "New Day" on Thursday, warning people to stay out of the ocean. Forecasters say a major risk from the storm will be potentially deadly rip currents. "Don´t get brave just because you see some good waves out there," he said. The national controversy over a surge of Central American immigrants illegally crossing the U.S. border established a new battleground this week in a Southern California small town where angry crowds thwarted detained migrants from entering their community. "This is an invasion," attendee Heidi Klute said before a full house. "Why isn´t the National Guard stopping them from coming in?" Tensions rose on Israel´s border with the Gaza Strip overnight Thursday as Palestinian militants and the Israel Air Force traded strikes: the IAF responded to a barrage of rockets earlier in the night with 15 air strikes on Gaza targets, and foreign media reported casualties. Nine of the overnight rockets hit Israeli territory, one of them striking a residential building in Sderot, while two others were intercepted by the Iron Dome above Netivot. Two more rockets fired in the morning scored a direct hit on another house in Sderot, causing damage but no casualties. Jerusalem was high in tension as well, following

The lawyer in George Zimmerman’s defamation suit is vowing to appeal the ruling of a Florida judge who yesterday tossed the litigation from her courtroom. Judge Debra S. Nelson wrote that Zimmerman “shall take nothing by this suit” even though NBC News in multiple broadcasts had shortened a police call in a way that inaccurately depicted Zimmerman as volunteering racial information about Trayvon Martin on the night of their fatal encounter in February 2012. “We obviously disagree with the judge,” says James Beasley, Zimmerman’s Philadelphia-based attorney. “We understand she has her position and we respect it, but we obviously disagree.” An

A government-contracted security force threatened to arrest doctors and nurses if they divulged any information about the contagion threat at a refugee camp housing illegal alien children at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, sources say. In spite of the threat, several former camp workers broke their confidentiality agreements and shared exclusive details with me about the dangerous conditions at the camp. They said taxpayers deserve to know about the contagious diseases and the risks the children pose to Americans. I have agreed to not to disclose their identities because they fear retaliation and prosecution.

Seems the prospect of smokin’ out a snake like Bill Ayers was too good to pass up. Getting an exclusive one-on-one with a crazy, violent communist with a small c was quite a coup for Kelly and D’Souza...or was it? Since lying and deceit generally benefit the liar, we have to ask, ”What was in it for Bill Ayers?” A mea culpa for past crimes? Hardly. After listening to Ayers, we must conclude: once a psychopath, always a psychopath.

His disdain for congressional Republicans has steadily increased; his disrespect for their tactics has hardened into contempt. Mrs. Obama went to the annual meeting of the American School Counselor Association in Florida to thank counselors for taking on a demanding job without the resources necessary to meet the challenges.
