Ted Cruz: Repeal

RUSH: Just a couple of more sound bites. Ted Cruz has weighed in on all of this. He´s the one guy who´s had this nailed from the get-go. And then we will move on to other propaganda, because there is no news anymore. There no news in the media. It´s just propaganda. It´s the Democrat Party and the Regime talking points disguised as the news. Ted Cruz, ladies and gentlemen, has just been firing both barrels on this, since he´s been talking about it at all. And this morning on Fox & Friends he was asked by Steve Doocy, "Okay, Senator

How about the "Repeal" period?
If dead beats want health care, then they should either start their own businesses (and experience what a bureaucratic nightmare the liberals have made that), get a job, or pay for it themselves!
Conservatives need to grow a backbone and campaign on the fact that Health care, like your house, car, clothing, etc must be earned and paid for. It is NOT a right.
Owning a gun is a right. Health care is an expense!

#4 & 5 you misunderstood my point.
Let me be clear, I don´t want you or any other idiot to buy me anything.
My husband and I pay our own way for everything. With our own sweat, toil and help from Jesus, we have built several successful businesses. We are successful, and we live the wonderful life we earned.
When either one of us gets sick or hospitalized, WE pay the bill..not an insurance company or Medicare.
My point is that somehow people have come to expect either free or cheap healthcare; it´s not either! If you want healthcare get off your dead derrière and earn it! If you can´t afford it, then don´t get pregnant or sick!
The last time I checked, the Bill of Rights tells me I can own a gun...it doesn´t say anything about my right to have others pay my bills.

#6 which was my point entirely. The 2nd amendment states you have a right to own a gun. It doesn´t require anyone to foot the bill to get you a gun. The same could be said for birth control pills. You want them, you buy them.

Today´s Millennials could be tomorrow´s very sweaty retirees thanks to temperatures and humidity levels that are rising so fast that, by the end of this century, simply going outside could be deadly. ‘As temperatures rise, toward the end of the century, less than an hour of activity outdoors in the shade could cause a moderately fit individual to suffer heat stroke,’ said climatologist Robert Kopp of Rutgers University, lead scientific author of the shocking report ´Risky Business.´ ‘That´s something that doesn´t exist anywhere in the world today.’ The study´s alarming findings put into sharp perspective not just what rising global temperatures can

Barack Obama took aim Wednesday night at Republicans who have blocked global warming legislation, saying they ´pretend´ they ´don´t read´ science. But the president ignored the latest claims that threaten to destroy the U.S. climate change movement. In a speech to the League of Conservation Voters, an environmental activist organization, Obama mocked the GOP for playing dumb on global warming in order to evade the criticism of tea party groups and other elements on their right wing. Republicans have ´ducked the question and said, "Hey, I´m not a scientist",´ Obama claimed, ´which really translates into "I accept that man-made climate change is

There is a great deal of confusion and ignorance about the jihadist organization ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) which has been waging a terror campaign in those two nations for some time now, culminating most recently in the seizure of Iraq’s second largest city, Mosul. ISIS isn’t acting out of anger over borders or “politics” as the West understands the term. ISIS has a specific goal in mind and that is the formation of an Islamic state ruled by Shariah. This is very important to understand because this is a common goal of all the major jihadist organizations across the

I mentioned this in the immigration post but it deserves more attention. To be clear, the $23 million here is on top of the cash spent by each GOP incumbent’s own campaign. It doesn’t include a dime of what, say, Mitch McConnell’s operation dropped to defend his seat. This is crony money, showered on establishment candidates to make sure the gravy train keeps running. The scope of the effort to suppress activist-backed candidates has been broader and costlier than is widely understood, covering at least 20 House and Senate primaries from North Carolina to California, and from coastal Mississippi to the

New York City’s 500,000 undocumented immigrants will be able to open bank accounts, visit libraries and use medical clinics, thanks to an official municipal identification card approved by the City Council. The measure, backed by Mayor Bill de Blasio, passed in a 43 to 3 vote today with two abstentions. The photo IDs will display the holder’s name, birth date, address and -- at the cardholder’s option -- a self-designated gender. “It sends a simple and clear message that we are a city that believes in including everyone,” Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito said before the vote. “We don’t accept that some people

Upon being approached by Williams, gun in hand, one of the patrons, Justin Harrison – who also had a concealed weapon on him but had an actual permit for it – shot Williams in self-defense, killing him "almost instantly," according to a Fox News affiliate in North Carolina. JACKSON, MS - The Mississippi Tea Party President says they´ve found evidence that nearly 800 voters crossed over in Tuesday´s runoff election that should not have been allowed to vote Republican. However, Hinds County GOP Chairman Pete Perry says there are some precincts where he knows workers marked the wrong column and that could account for at least 200 of those being cited by the Tea Party. Members of McDaniel´s campaign staff and some supporters began sorting through voter books on Thursday morning at the Hinds County courthouse. They were looking for any "irregularities". The Berlin Wall and other barriers erected by totalitarians protected communist regimes by preventing the massive emigration that would quickly have deprived them of the slaves without which they could not have operated. Or is Barack Obama culpable for pulling out all American troops monitoring the success of the 2007-08 surge? Some still blame George W. Bush for going into Iraq in 2003 in the first place to remove Saddam Hussein. One can blame almost anyone, but one must not invent facts to support an argument. In the long, sordid war between the Republican Party “establishment” and tea party factions working to unseat those they see as ideologically wayward, nothing has infuriated conservative activists quite like what happened Tuesday in Mississippi.Following a three-week runoff campaign between 36-year Republican Sen. Thad Cochran and tea party-backed candidate Chris McDaniel, the incumbent defeated his challenger by about 6,400 votes — a bigger margin than in the first primary vote on June 3.

Thad Cochran’s political resurrection began with a campaign shakeup and ended with a Hail Mary television ad. Just three weeks ago, in the dead of night on June 3, the Mississippi senator’s staff sat shaken and dejected, crestfallen at the results of a primary that deprived the six-term incumbent of an electoral majority. With Cochran forced into a runoff fight against an aggressive and energetic challenger, a dark mood shadowed his backers in Washington and Mississippi.Yet almost immediately, the Cochran coalition began bouncing back. Republicans are in the strongest position to win back the Senate since losing it eight years ago. Over several months, the party has expanded its range of targeted seats, and the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) has helped defeat insurgents it didn’t want representing the GOP in the midterm elections. This sober realization came to Democrats on Wednesday, as Tuesday night’s primary results showed they cannot count on Tea Party candidates upsetting more-electable incumbents. And Democrats are increasingly realizing that President Obama’s approval rating will probably remain mired at 45 percent or lower until

National conservative groups are angry after incumbent Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochran pulled off a victory in the state’s GOP run-off — likely because of his campaign’s outreach to Democratic voters. “It’s disgraceful that self-described GOP leaders like Mitch McConnell, John McCain, the Chamber of Commerce and the NRSC would champion a campaign platform of pork barrel spending and insider deal-making, while recruiting Democrats to show up at the polls,” Matt Kibbe of FreedomWorks said after the results came in. Tuesday’s closely-watched run-off came after conservative state Sen. Chris McDaniel edged Cochran in votes in the initial election earlier this month.
