New G.O.P. Bid to Limit
Voting in Swing States

New York Times, by Steven Yaccino & Lizette Alvarez

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 3/30/2014 2:26:10 PM

Cincinnati - Pivotal swing states under Republican control are embracing significant new electoral restrictions on registering and voting that go beyond the voter identification requirements that have caused fierce partisan brawls. The bills, laws and administrative rules — some of them tried before — shake up fundamental components of state election systems, including the days and times polls are open and the locations where people vote. (Snip) Democrats in North Carolina are scrambling to fight back against the nation’s most restrictive voting laws, passed by Republicans there last year.

Comments:
You know the GOP is doing something right when you see a stunt like this, walking "miles" to the poll. Who believes that the dRATS are NOT going to be running buses, driven by union members to get THEIR vote out? My biggest problem has sometimes trying to find the voting place in my district in Texas, as it changes sometimes. It´s always about the poor blacks and Hispanics. What about all the unemployed & underemployed that 0bama has created because of bad economic policies and rising prices?

Maybe now Melowese Richardson will be only able to vote the straight Democrat ticket in Ohio four times instead of six.

I am tired of the reasons that the dems put out there for the poor being unable to vote.
We have to get back to the ONE day of voting. there is no reason to extend the vote beyond one day. If a person cannot get to the polls between the 6;30 am and 7:30 p.m. dead line they should not even bother to vote. Its not that important to them. get out and make the effort to vote. they would certainly make it to the grocery store..why not a voting place... there is public transportation all over this country. its just an excuse to allow voter fraud..ask the women in Ohio thatvoted 6 times for obama..was it all at the same voting place..she certainly got her butt to differnet voting places.

I wonder how many times each New York Times employee votes in a typical election? 10? 20? More?

You´d think they´d be embarrassed to be such crybabies about these things when their own party, the Democrat party naturally, has committed voter fraud for years, decades, centuries... but they have no shame.

It´s a matter of minutes before the Democrats start talking about how the GOP wants to "disenfranchise" minority voters.

It is long overdue that some of the obvious voter fraud that has been going on gets stopped. The Democrats have enjoyed quite their little voter-fraud machinations for a decade now, getting more and more sophisticated as time passes, using computer-programming to change GOP votes to Democrat votes so that the voter doesn´t notice it.

Time for it to stop. GO GOP and damn the criticism, but you have to know it´s going to be called racism.

Plenty of materials for a potential dirty bomb are likely scattered throughout the area of Iraq controlled by ISIS, and pulling off an attack that spreads even a minor amount of radiation could be a huge PR coup for the terror group, experts told FoxNews.com. Last week, the Iraqi government in Baghdad warned the UN that ISIS operatives had stolen 88 pounds of uranium compounds from Mosul University. Even though many experts said the research materials were not enough to cause widespread harm, spreading fear is even more important to terrorists than a big body count, one terrorism expert said.
