Brent Bozell Tells Megyn Kelly About
TV´s Obamacare Omission: ´CBS Is the

MRC president Brent Bozell appeared Thursday night (as he often does) on “The Kelly File” on the Fox News Channel. The subject was this week’s MRC studies on Obamacare – the Rich Noyes study on the under-coverage of Obamacare, and the Geoffrey Dickens study on all the victims who’ve been ignored. Brent touched on how only CBS did one Saturday story on a four-year-old who was denied care under Obama’s alleged “signature achievement.” But he professed amazement about how a program so ambitious that the networks called it a “landmark” and “historic” when it passed is now getting buried by Brian,

Comments:
It really is astonishing when you actually see in print how they devoted such a minuscule amount of time to something as huge and destructive as Obamacare. We know they are covering for Obama and they sure have done a good job! It really doesn´t matter, the American people know how devastating and heinious it is without these Obama lovers reporting it.

Megyn Kelly shared some great news with us on Fox and Friends this morning, as Time Magazine named her one of its 100 Most Influential People. Kelly is listed in the "Pioneers" section of the list, with longtime Fox News colleague Brit Hume providing the write-up. Under the headline, "an authoritative force in cable news," Hume wrote: Ten years ago, my wife Kim, then Fox News’ Washington bureau chief, walked into my office carrying a videocassette. “You have got to see this,” Kim said. It was the audition tape of a local TV reporter then named Megyn Kendall. She was a lawyer and new to the business, but her tape displayed as

First lady Michelle Obama told children at the White House´s Annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day on Thursday that her favorite healthy food was pizza and her favorite junk food was French fries. “So I’m gonna give you my favorite healthy thing to eat, which actually is my favorite thing to eat – pizza. Yes, but usually when I have pizza – alright don’t get mad at me – I do veggie pizzas,” she said in response to a question about her favorite food. “It’s really good, and they make great pizza here at the White House. So that’s a way that I get the favorite food that I love but also do it in a healthy way so I can eat it whenever I want to,

Rep. Darrell Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, is raising new questions about the Justice Department´s role in the IRS targeting of conservative groups. Issa wants more answers from the administration about a previously unreleased email between a DOJ official and former IRS official Lois Lerner about potential prosecutions of conservative groups that had applied for tax-exempt status. In the email, Richard Pilger, director of the Election Crimes Branch of the DOJ´s Public Integrity Section, noted via email to Lerner, "When you have a moment, will you call me? ‘420’ Revelers Leave Golden Gate

The mellow, "peace now," countercultural, environmentally conscious “420” celebration deposited 10,000 pounds of garbage on what is known as Hippie Hill in Golden Gate Park, leaving volunteers and park workers to clean up the mess. According to the San Francisco Chronicle’s website SF Gate, this year’s celebration drew a massive amount of revelers estimated at between 10,000 and 15,000. The pot smokers´ untidiness will cost the city more than $10,000 in cleanup costs. The immense load of empty bags of chips, candy wrappers, and snack containers left behind was evidence that it was indeed the remnants of weed smokers

Mayor Bill de Blasio celebrated Earth Day on Tuesday by proposing more regulations — including a ban on new wood-burning fireplaces. The mayor made the proposal, along with those for other sweeping regulations that he said would update emission standards and help curb air pollution. Instead of wood-burning fireplaces, de Blasio wants to allow only cleaner-burning units, such as those that use natural gas. Residents who already have wood-burning fireplaces would be allowed to keep them, but would be required to use only firewood that has 20 percent moisture or less, according to the Department of Environmental Protection.

A growing number of conservatives are calling for Indiana Gov. Mike Pence to consider running for president in 2016, believing that while others claim to be Reaganesque, the former radio host and House GOP leader is the real heir to the throne. “I really like Pence,” said Gary Bauer, president of American Values, a conservative family group and one-time presidential candidate. “To many, many conservative leaders, he is the first choice,” said legendary Republican direct-mail fundraiser Richard Viguerie. Pence has played down talk of a bid, but he raised his profile significantly this month when he took a well-publicized trade mission to

Texas Republican Gov.Rick Perry defended Jeb Bush’s remark that illegal immigration is an “act of love,” claiming he “understands about people breaking a law to take care of their family” — particularly when for decades U.S. policy was “come on over, don’t worry about it.” Perry spoke with Fox News’ Stuart Varney about the former Florida Republican governor’s illegal immigration apology, which inspired a ferocious backlash from the right. The Texas governor first tried to dodge the question, noting that as the Mexican economy improves the illegal immigration question may prove a moot point. “The immigration issue may be one that’s fixing to

It’s always satisfying to see race-baiting bureaucrats get their comeuppance in court, but an opinion by the 6th Circuit issued earlier this month begins especially delightfully: In this case the EEOC sued the defendants for using the same type of background check that the EEOC itself uses. The EEOC’s personnel handbook recites that “[o]verdue just debts increase temptation to commit illegal or unethical acts as a means of gaining funds to meet financial obligations.” Because of that concern, the EEOC runs credit checks on applicants for 84 of the agency’s 97 positions. The defendants (collectively, “Kaplan”) have the same concern;

Half a Win on Racial Discrimination

There’s a reason they call it “progressivism” — for years, the main legal question contested in affirmative-action cases, from Bakke to Grutter, was whether the state should be allowed to engage in racial discrimination. In the Michigan affirmative-action case decided today, Schuette v. Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action, the question was whether the state should be required to engage in racial discrimination. The progress, then, has followed the Left’s familiar ratchet-effect model, inching its way from “not forbidden” to “compulsory.” Indeed, as the Wall Street Journal put it, the question here was not whether the use of racial

Jeb Bush said Wednesday he´s "thinking about running for president," in his most direct statement yet about a possible 2016 run. The former Florida governor spoke at a Catholic school benefit in New York Wednesday morning. He previously has said he´ll make a decision on whether to run for president before the end of this year, making clear that he was considering the possibility. But his comments on Wednesday appeared to be more direct. Asked what his "immediate plans" were, he said, according to an attendee: "I´m thinking about running for president." WASHINGTON -- In a dissent to Tuesday’s Supreme Court ruling upholding Michigan’s voter-approved ban on affirmative action programs in its public colleges, Justice Sonia Sotomayor speaks from experience about the complex impact of such programs on her own life. Sotomayor’s 58-page dissent, joined by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, has one theme: Race matters. (Snip) She takes a dig at Chief Justice John Roberts who wrote once, “The way to stop discrimination on the basis of race is to stop discrimination on the basis of race.” Sotomayor says: “It is a sentiment out of touch with reality.” Sotomayor says, “Race matters.

Today is Earth Day. Fox News’ The Five opened its show with a nearly 15 minute segment titled “Earth Day Hysteria.” The goal appeared to be to prove that scientists’ warnings about climate change are overblown and should be ignored if not outright mocked and co-host Eric Bolling was the ringleader of the effort. But he found an adversary in Bob Beckel, who challenged the status quo by presenting actual data on the rise of CO2 levels from NASA, of all places. But before Beckel got to his chart, Bolling took some time to “praise” President Barack Obama for what

At least 40 U.S. veterans died waiting for appointments at the Phoenix Veterans Affairs Health Care system, many of whom were placed on a secret waiting list. The secret list was part of an elaborate scheme designed by Veterans Affairs managers in Phoenix who were trying to hide that 1,400 to 1,600 sick veterans were forced to wait months to see a doctor, according to a recently retired top VA doctor and several high-level sources. For six months, CNN has been reporting on extended delays in health care appointments suffered by veterans across the country and who died while waiting for appointments and care.

He won the election the old-fashioned way, by making a ton of money in the private sector and then splattering the airwaves with TV ads. In the process, Clawson rolled up endorsements from local Tea Party leaders and from the Tea Party Express. It wasn´t that he was particularly conservative -- he had no prior political record, and had even donated to Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow.
