Women are legally free to abort a baby
because of its sex, says abortion charity head

Telegraph (UK), by Alice Philipson

Original Article

Ann Furedi, of BPAS, said the law does not prevent women from choosing a termination on the grounds of gender and she even compared it to abortion after rape. Mrs Furedi´s comments come weeks after it was disclosed that the CPS had decided not to prosecute two doctors who were exposed by a Daily Telegraph investigation arranging terminations purely because the unborn baby was a girl. A group of 50 MPs, drawn from across the party divide, then wrote to this newspaper warning that the decision was a “step back in the fight for gender equality” and effectively changes the law without

Comments:
Merry ´ole England...NOT, especially for "unborn" girls. And, please note that its gone from "health" of the mother to "mental health" of the mother. The woman leading the charity looks like a demented Disney villianness (wonder if she likes the fur of little black and white puppies too?)

I notice that one of the first reader comments is "People have the right to choose regardless of the reason". To which I say, what choice does the baby have? Didn´t these women exercise their "right to choose" when they chose to have unprotected sex? Except for rape and incest (which is a more vile version of rape) there is no excuse for abortion.

Not to worry. All those missing British babies are quickly being replaced by Muslim babies in the UK. But at least British women still have the right to do what they want with their bodies...until Sharia takes over and they are stoned to death for their wanton behavior.

Is there anything more evil than an abortion "rights" fanatic?

Why is it only pro-abortion women that defend the right to abort girl babies? They must want every country to be like China where many men will never be able to have a wife.

I hate to sound like Hillary but what difference does it make? Does it really matter to the child if their life was terminated because she was a girl or because the timing of the pregnancy was bad or any other reason a woman uses to have an abortion?

The radical homosexual and lesbian lobby has long defended their behavior as "being born that way" and have been pinning their hopes on genetic research that will prove their claim. Although it hasn´t happened yet, and I doubt it ever will, but imagine the outcry if it does and parents "choose" to abort for that reason.

#1 - Abortion is still unacceptable in cases of rape and incest. A baby in the womb possesses the right to life even if the conception was forced. Why should the innocent baby pay with their life for the crime of the man? I saw a moving interview during this year’s March For Life in January by a group of young people who were conceived by rape. Their lives are no less valuable than anyone else. Indeed, women victims of rape and incest are due great compassion and psychological counseling, but adoption is the compassionate option. I have also read testimony by rape victims who said their subsequent abortions was liked being raped again. Life is precious, no matter how conceived. Abortion kills one life and breaks the heart of the other.

Unlike in the US - if the English citizens don´t like the way the law is written their legislators can change it.

Their abortion policy is set entirely by elected officials. Ours was set by 9 people in black who ignore the voters.

Oh yes, the war on women and the push for abortion is all part of the liberals growing efforts and plans to control population growth as a sure fire way to save the planet from destruction and depleting its resources. Just Google "population control", and see what you get. The population control agenda is being relentlessly pushed in high school textbooks, in classroom instruction and by outside organizations that are given constant access to students. The number one population control organization in the United States is Planned Parenthood and they are not alone. These charities in the UK are equally involved. Perfect population control management organizations operating under the guise of protecting a woman´s right to choose. So go ahead ladies, kill your kid and do your part to save the planet!

This is the UK. They have become increasing secular and God and religion has long been excluded from daily living let alone any discussion in the ethics of abortion. There is no love affair with the fetus in Europe. They are extremely cavalier about this. They will abort no matter what. The only women getting abortions over there are Brits. They are now worried about their demographics and liberal policies on immigration. In neighboring lands, they are offering Scandinavian women to bear children.

A woman´s right to choose ends the moment she conceives. Because the victims of abortion are so tiny and they can be easily discarded does not make their souls worth any less than the victims of the worst genocides committed in this world that we find so abhorrent. Over 55 million and counting just in this country. Let that number sink in. To all you feminists out there, defend that.

If they ever do discover the "gay gene" and someone wants an abortion because they do not want a gay child, that will be determined to be illegal by the Gaystapo.
All other abortions, at any time, for any reason, will be just fine.

#20. You´ve got the basic concept there: if you don´t want a baby, don´t do the baby-making thing.

However, for you loving husbands and wives out there, it needn´t be a total freeze on nuptial intimacy. The basic concept really is: if you don´t want a baby, don´t do the baby-making thing when the wife is fertile.

The book argues that the underlying mechanisms of capitalism tend towards massive inequality. Piketty argues that the era between 1930 and 1975 -- often hailed for the way in which wealth was broadly shared -- was actually a departure from the norm.
