The blood for this and every incident involving illegals is on the hands of all politicians who refuse to keep us safe by simply enforcing existing laws.

A completely preventable death. Our politicians are so spoiled and corrupt. They all take an oath to defend us from foreign and domestic threats.

When are we going to hold them accountable? But for the presence of an illegal alien drunk driver, this young man would be alive.

The rot starts at the top and works its way down, with members of both parties derelict in their duties. Shame on all of them. And shame on the voters who elect corrupt and contemptible politicians to whom the oath of office means nothing.

Every judge and DA involved with this man`s prior arrest`s needs to be brought up on charges. At the very least, the defendant`s lawyer should subpoena as many govn personnel as possible to testify under oath how they let down the public by releasing this individual back to the streets to cause more mayhem. If bartenders can be charges with selling too much alcohol to a patron who leaves and kills someone with their vehicle, then so should govn peeps who do the same. After all, it`s for the greater good.

Entered the country in 2003 on a temporary visa (6 month). No one bothered to tell him to go home when the visa ran out. They could have deported him in 2007 but were tpp busy to take him into custody. Now, we first need to pay for his treatment, then have him stand trial for this most recent crime, pay for his imprisonment, and then send him home when he gets out of prison. But you know what, but by the time he is released from prison, ICE will have forgotten about him and be too busy to pick him up for deportation.

SALT LAKE CITY - FBI agents arrested two former Utah attorneys general at their homes on Tuesday and charged them pair with felonies stemming from a two-year investigation into claims of bribery and corruption, prosecutors said. Republicans John Swallow and Mark Shurtleff are accused of establishing a pay-to-play culture in office, and of taking bribes to look the other way or offer protection when donors to their political campaigns ran into legal trouble. "This has been a complex, nuanced, large investigation and there are multiple players in it," Salt Lake District Attorney Sim Gill said at a news conference.

Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl could have a tax-free $350,000 dropped into his bank account if the current investigation into his disappearance from his base in Afghanistan was not desertion, and if he is deemed to have been a prisoner of war for the five years he was held by Islamic militants, Fox News has learned. The 28-year-old soldier, for whom the U.S. traded five senior Taliban operatives held at Guantanamo Bay, was set to return to active duty Monday after spending six weeks in medical rehab at Fort Sam Houston, in San Antonio. “Essentially he’ll be working a desk job,”

No, the United States isn´t trying to build a military force of centenarians. It just seems that way after the Selective Service System mistakenly sent notices to more than 14,000 Pennsylvania men born between 1893 and 1897, ordering them to register for the nation´s military draft and warning that failure to do so is "punishable by a fine and imprisonment." The agency realized the error when it began receiving calls from bewildered relatives last week. The NRA went after two or three state senators in a part of Colorado where I don’t think there’s roads,” said Bloomberg in the interview published online Wednesday.

Where is the red line of impeachment? In theory, a red line might be located somewhere on a list of impeachable offenses – perhaps at the point where a certain number of transgressions is exceeded, or next to a specific instance because of its significance or impact. In reality, though, that red line exists along a spectrum of “political will.” As Andrew McCarthy explained: “You can have a thousand provable impeachable offenses, but before Congress may remove the president from power, there must be strong popular support – a public will that cuts across partisan and ideological lines.”
