And of course with a president Paul there would be a similar effect but at least it might be more deliberate and less discombobulated, and Europe would be on notice they would need to take care of their own.

That´s because ´Bam is most interested in the perks and pomp of the presidency. Putin can have a few chunks of Eastern Europe, as long as he doesn´t invade during vacay time.

Mister Trouble never hangs around
When he hears this Mighty sound.

I couldn´t help myself channeling Andy Kaufman

"Here I come to save the day"

That means that Mighty Mouse is on his way.
Yes sir, when there is a wrong to right
Mighty Mouse will join the fight.
On the sea or on the land,
He gets the situation well in hand.

A morally preening but militarily toothless Europe, infatuated with Dear Leader and his anti-American socialism, is still quite a few steps from admitting that cheerleading the dismantling of American power while relying on that power for Europe´s own security doesn´t make all that much sense. The first step would be an admission that the European love for Dear Leader is based primarily on Dear Leader´s tacit promise to bring America to its knees ("fundamental transformation"). The next step would be the admission that that is exactly why the Putins of the world have enjoyed Dear Leader´s "presidency" so much.

Ever since the end of WWII, the US has tolerated the mutterings by our Western European allies about the US role in the world; all the time their leaders knew that when push came to shove, the US military would be there to rescue them. Not any more under Obama. And I would add that the infatuation by Europe with Obama was also because of his skin color. The Europeans love to lecture the US about race, slavery*, etc. while you don´t see any dark skin faces in leadership roles in Europe?

* American slavery inherited from the Brits

Actually, it should be her. She grew up behind the Soviet Iron Curtain. She remembers the Soviets swallowing up country after country after WWII.

She also personally remembers the 1968 Prague Spring that today´s journalists all seem to have forgotten. To me, today´s Ukraine is eerily reminiscent with tanks massed on their border.

Apparently Obama has never heard of George Santayana.

Where to start... if I was Barky I wouldn´t want to go to any meeting where the Chinese were attending. I mean the Grandma from hell has been thrashing the hotels and servants in China, the sour faced kids are dressed like a younger version of Lady Gaga and the Mouch is advising the Chinese on how unhealthy it is eating chicken flied lice.

Putin seems to be the only one who has a plan in all of this. Check our commitment to Europe, the Crimea and the Ukraine and have at it. I´m guessing that Barky will be taking selfies with Merkel and other ladies while discussing undie styles and other girly stuff while the free world goes to hell.

Meanwhile back in the good old USA, we are still being told about the advantages of amnesty for criminals and Obama No Care For You.

Yeah, this is an excrement sandwich we helped foment with phone calls to the Ukraine, specifically Victoria Nuland. "F the Russians" was bad enough coming from Nuland but when former PM and Ukrainian revolutionary Yulia Tymoshenko was asked by Ukranian parliamentarian Shufrych what to do with the Russians in the Ukraine and she ACTUALLY ANSWERED, "They must be killed with nuclear weapons," that set in stone that fidiot ideological children like the EU and Obama are going up against an experienced Marxist tyrant master. You see, Putin can record phone calls as easily as we can. Every single Obama solution is making matters much more dangerous for entire continents and he could care less. Valerie Jarrett is wielding a broken spork against someone with a .50 cal and Val represents you and me in all this. What could possibly go wrong? The former Taliban prisoner is gearing up for the investigation into his disappearance and abduction in Afghanistan. His new lawyer says Bergdahl is grateful to the president for making the prisoner swap that brought him home. U.S. Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl has a new lawyer to defend him as the Army investigates the circumstances surrounding his kidnapping by the Taliban in 2009. And the former hostage wants President Obama to know that he is grateful the U.S. government traded five Taliban commanders in exchange for his release in May. “Sergeant Bergdahl is deeply grateful to President Obama for saving his life,” Bergdahl’s

If the Palestinians are merely engaged in a nationalist struggle for self-determination, then why are they inciting genocide of Jewry? In the midst of Operation Protective Edge, Hamas released a music video in Hebrew calling for the Palestinians to bomb Israel and kill all Israelis. “Raze it [Israel] to the ground, exterminate the cockroaches’ nest, and banish all the Zionists,” the lyrics read. Some human rights activists and lawyers may get a sense of déjà vu upon reading these words. Back in 1994, there were several radio broadcasts calling for the extermination of human cockroaches. They were in Rwanda. When the Hutus began their

TOPEKA, Kan. — Democratic challenger Paul Davis sought Tuesday to give his campaign for Kansas governor a bipartisan boost by announcing endorsements from more than 100 moderate Republicans who´ve split with conservative GOP Gov. Sam Brownback over education and tax policy. The disaffected Republicans include outgoing Insurance Commissioner Sandy Praeger, three former Kansas Senate presidents and three former Kansas House speakers. More than half are former legislators, and the list includes former U.S. Rep. Jan Meyers, who represented the Kansas City-area 3rd District from 1985 to 1997. They announced that they formed Republicans for Kansas Values because of their concerns about the

The headline from AP certainly is alarming: “100 Kansas GOP endorse Democrat for governor.” And the lead paragraph continues the theme: Democratic challenger Paul Davis sought Tuesday to give his campaign for Kansas governor a bipartisan boost by announcing endorsements from more than 100 moderate Republicans who´ve split with conservative GOP Gov. Sam Brownback over education and tax policy. You might be wondering, to borrow Thomas Frank’s infamous book title, “What’s the matter with Kansas”? I can’t claim to be an expert on the Jayhawker State, but it does appear that this is a matter of sour grapes: Six state senators on

The U.S. deported Honduran children as young as 1-1/2 years old on Monday in the first flight since President Obama pledged to speed up the process of sending back illegal immigrant minors from Central America. Fleeing violence and poverty, record numbers of children from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala have crossed into the United States over the past year, sparking intense debate about how to solve the problem. Monday´s flight from New Mexico to San Pedro Sula, the city with the highest murder rate in the world, returned 17 Honduran women, as well as 12 girls and nine boys, aged

The Obama administration quietly announced on Tuesday that it intends to change the way Americans learn about natural disasters and other major emergencies during radio and TV broadcasts, giving the president the ability to flip a switch and address the entire nation at once. The Emergency Alert System, the latest version of a program first established in 1951, blasts out emergency messages in the event of local weather emergencies, but can also be used to warn Americans about terror attacks and major natural disasters. In his message to the “Mexico/Holy See Colloquium on Migration and Development,” Pope Francis characterized the tens of thousands of illegal immigrants that have crossed the U.S. southern border as a product of globalization, suggesting that the phenomenon is happening worldwide. Francis proclaimed, “Despite the large influx of migrants present in all continents and in almost all countries, migration is still seen as an emergency, or as a circumstantial and sporadic fact, while instead it has now become a hallmark of our society and a challenge.” Emmer McCarthy for Vatican Radio said Francis expressed his concern for “the tens of thousands of

The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. They’ve just learned they will no longer be allowed to buy Chick-fil-A

“Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security. Contrary to what those who defend the right to own high-powered assault rifles believe, not all guns are created equal. Due to a combination of availability, portability and criminal usage the following five types of guns are the country's most dangerous. School Shootings: Widely Reported Tragedies Since 2000 - Using firearm trace data from the ATF, as well as FBI homicide records, we determined the types of guns most often recovered from crime scenes and/or used in murders. The numbers are stark: According to the FBI's 2012 Crime in the US data, nearly 70 percent of homicides for which the FBI received weapons data involved the use

John McCain, an immigration hawk. Who knew? Mr. McCain, the highest-profile Republican of the U.S. Senate’s “Gang of Eight” that came up with amnesty as the solution to the immigration crisis — and it truly is a crisis — is finally taking a hard line against President Obama for his encouraging the tidal wave of illegal aliens swamping the southwestern border. “There has to be a halt to this,” Mr. McCain thundered Sunday on CNN. “That’s what we want, and the best way to do that is for planeloads of these young people to be returning to their country of origin

It had to come sometime, and it came in one very bad week for the Democrats: that the many big problems with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama finally grew too great for the press to ignore. Obama in his own different way is heading towards Nixon-like levels of weirdness, as, beaten down by the failures regarding his ventures, he appears to have quit his own job. A.B. Stoddard of the Hill says in effect he has stopped being president and chooses to live in a world of his own, shutting out the problems that have become overwhelming, giving dinners where he talks

Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has warned all of his colleagues in Congress that President Barack Obama’s new immigration strategy—his plans to legalize millions of illegal alien adults through executive power—could destroy America as we know it. “I write to inform you of a development that threatens the foundation of our constitutional Republic,” Sessions, Congress’s top immigration hawk, wrote in a letter that was hand-delivered to all 535 members of Congress on Monday and provided exclusively to Breitbart News. Sessions cites a recent report from the National Journal, in which reporter Major Garrett detailed how, despite the ongoing

Attorney General Eric Holder encouraged Americans not to forget race while working for justice and equality in their country. “As it stands, our society is not yet color blind -- nor should it be -- given the disparities that still afflict and divide us.” Holder explained, “We must be color brave, and we must never forget that all are made better and more prosperous if all are given equal opportunities.” Holder made his remarks during a speech at Howard University on Tuesday for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Civil Rights Act. “We must take into account not only the

WASHINGTON — It was an enduring image of his presidency: a chastened Bill Clinton walking his dog while wife Hillary keeps her distance as the family leaves town at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal — but it was all part of a contrived public-repentance campaign, according to a new book. With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that
