The False Myth of the 80% Conservative
Canada Free Press, by Jonathon Moseley

The danger is this: In the USA’s upcoming 2014 elections, Republican elites assume that everyone all now agrees that conservatives ‘must’ support non-conservative candidates to win more elections. The GOP is operating on the belief that everyone is on board, simply because insiders have officially decreed it to be so. However, the grassroots in the USA remains unconvinced. Worse, the Republican establishment has no plan for truly healing the actual wounds. Elites want to avoid change more fervently than they do want to win elections. Elites violated trust by advancing liberal policies in the U.S. Congress, but they won’t apologize or

The article points out that most of all conservative voters hate being lied to by the shades-of-grey Republicans.

There is no topic greater than amnesty where lying, and trying to diffuse those lies, has reached epic proportions. Rubio is a good example, a Tea Party pinup boy, he lent his credibility to the McCain Senatorial whorehouse and along the way came down with the political equivalent of herpes. (How´s that for a metaphor?). As Rubio is now finding out, there is no cure for herpes (political or otherwise) but it is manageable if he is willing to working extremely hard in rebuilding the trust among his betrayed constituents.

You would think tha bilionaire republicans would be good for the party. The an towards Christie, this Adelson guy favors jeb and the financial manager types favor Romney.Neither one of these guys is a grassroots type that firmly believes in things like social values or reverting to the Constitution.

If you support the Constitution these days, you´re considered an outlier whacko.

Rubio getting on the amnesty/path to citizenship bus did him in but Christie, Jeb or Romney wouldn´t have a problem with it. The republicans need the tea party votes while telling them to shove their ideas where the sun don´t shine.

We know the left hates the rule of law but when the right caves in on it,there´s no glue left to hold the country together.

#3, If "...when the right caves in on it..." that happens then they were libtards and not conservatives and not on the ´right´. There are quite a number of libtards calling themselves pubbies, as well as all of the democrats - communists all, in it for self-power, riches and aggrandizement for the most part. Because they know best, don´cha know?

BTW, the whole ´left´ / ´right´ meme gives away too much to the commies in arguments. The political spectrum ranges from anarchy to tyranny, not ´right´ and ´left´. And the libtards are all about establishing tyranny....

I can’t say it much better than Moseley, but will add this:

The GOP Elites are part of the problem, not the solution. They have consistently blocked serious efforts to shut down Obamacare. They hide behind Reagan’s legacy, while having done everything in their power to blunt his agenda. They enable the Emperor’s agenda by refusing to employ the remedies that the Framers have provided. When they last held the House, Senate, and WH, they expanded entitlements, spending and debt, and bureaucratic bloat. When they had the political “upper hand”, they were all to eager to share committee power with Democrats.

We handed them the Speakership in 2010. They responded with “thanks, suckers!” and shunned us in 2012 and thereafter.

They held all the political cards in 2012, and squandered their lead by playing “not to lose”.

Why should anyone expect anything different, should they re-take the Senate?

They are in the way of genuine reform.

They are part of the beltway political class.

Given: Democrats are America’s political ‘Satan’. Right now, however, there isn’t much conservatives can directly do about Democrats and their lapdog media. Conservatives can, however, get the GOP out of the way by simply sitting on our hands. We have the power to block Mitch McConnell from becoming Majority Leader once again, if we are willing to suffer a few more years of Harry Reid and Democrat deconstruction. Conservatives can rebuild, once we , and not RINOs, win.

I, for one, am willing to take this risk for the good of the nation, just as our military heroes took great risks and casualties to achieve the great victories now fading in our memories. When, again, was the last time we actually won a war?

The GOP needs to be replaced, not “reformed”.

I think I´ve read that McCain gets an 82% conservative rating. That should tell you all you need to know. What an 80% conservative does is vote with the left on every close, important vote on conservative issues, and votes with the conservatives on issues where their votes won´t matter. When they choose to be conservative makes a difference.

GOP Establishment: Congress Should Give
"Blank Check" to Address Border Crisis
Breitbart Big Government, by Tony Lee    Original Article

While liberal activists keep pushing Democrats to make more concessions regarding the flood of illegal immigrant children across the border, GOP consultants in D.C. are suggesting that Republicans roll over and approve President Barack Obama´s request for $3.7 billion without any concessions. And they are doing so to liberal outlets like the Huffington Post. Since only $400 million of those funds would actually go to strengthen border security, Republicans have been wary of giving the Obama administration a "blank check" without getting some concessions, like having National Guard troops on the border or changing a 2008 law that

The DCCC, the campaign arm for Rep. Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats, has raised $22 million more than the House GOP for the fall elections. That result is surprising enough, as Democrats´ minority status gives them little political leverage in the House. More surprising, though, is that Democrats have raised almost three times as much money, $46 million v. $17 million, as Republicans from small-dollar grass roots donors. The political landscape and recent polling would suggest the opposite situation.

Sen. Thad Cochran´s campaign manager, Kirk Sims, has been replaced by his state director Brad Davis, according to a GOP source close to the campaign. Sims, a former chief of staff to Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant, leaves his campaign manager post having won a bitter primary fight against odds but also amid allegations of vote-buying and other improprieties that have engulfed the election´s outcome in acrimony.

Congress should not provide the Obama administration with any additional funding until it uses current resources to secure the border and confront illegal immigration, according to Texas Republican Rep. Lamar Smith. “This isn’t a funding problem, it’s an enforcement problem. Rather than enforce our nation’s immigration laws, the President has chosen to ignore them. Instead, he continues to call for massive amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants,” Smith said. Tuesday, President Obama submitted his emergency funding request to Congress – seeking $3.7 billion to deal with the ongoing influx of unaccompanied children and family units illegally entering the United States.

A terrible polling season just got humiliating for President Obama. On top of collapsing personal and job approval numbers, and a stunning loss in public confidence, a new Quinnipiac poll shows that the American people now see a president who rode into office on a wave of hope and change as the worst president since World War II. Adding insult to injury, in hindsight, only 38% of voters believe Obama is doing a better job than his 2012 Republican rival Mitt Romney would have. A plurality of 45% believe Romney would be doing a better job than Obama. When asked who the

This is not the first time the corrupt national GOP power structure and the Mississippi Republican Party have betrayed conservatism. By now, the deeply questionable practices of the Thad Cochran campaign and his apparatchiks in Mississippi are known to all. Mysterious robo-calls, unaccounted for mailings, street money, all designed to not just to defeat but ruin Chris McDaniel, because he had the temerity to take on the Establishment. The anti-conservative forces inside the GOP even engaged and paid Democratic consultants to help destroy the campaign of a fellow Republican.

Stars are aligning for a big Republican victory this November – solidifying and expanding the GOP’s majority in the House and perhaps gaining one in the Senate. This is a best-case scenario, and any majority in the Senate would be a slim one. But the importance of removing Harry Reid as majority leader cannot be overstated. That’s why Democrats will pull every dirty trick in their deep bag to hold the Senate, and sadly many Republicans will help them in that quest. President Obama will have two years left to wreak havoc on the country after the next election, but he can only throw stones into the river of time, not permanently change its

Last Tuesday in Mississippi, incumbent Republican Sen. Thad Cochran beat his challenger, State Sen. Chris McDaniel, in a Republican runoff. There is no dispute that Cochran won by bringing thousands of Democrats into the Republican runoff to support him. Cochran´s victory, if left unaddressed by conservatives, will set a dangerous precedent within Republican primaries. Republican PACs, national Republican political operatives and the Republican establishment collaborated to accuse conservative and tea party activists of racism. These Republicans painted their very base as the second coming on the KKK and Hitler.

Republican Party elders have learned well from their political idol, Barack H. Obama. After observing the total lawlessness of President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder over the past five and half years, as both men ignored all checks and balances without consequence, ruling Republican elites have seen fit to adopted their strategy of overt lawlessness. Unburdened from ethics, state election laws, or voter accountability, national GOP party masters adopted and replicated Obama and Holder’s “best practices” in the deep red state of Mississippi.

The only reason liberalism survives is because there´s usually a good bit of lag between when a policy is being implemented and the time when the American people get to see the results. If Americans could somehow magically see what would happen in a decade or two after a liberal policy has passed, there would be no liberals left. Instead, back in the real world, liberals create or exacerbate disasters with their policies, blame everyone other than themselves, and then demand more government action to fix the problem they screwed up in the first place. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School.
