Former Florida governor Jeb Bush will get top billing when he and other potential 2016 presidential candidates join billionaire casino mogul Sheldon Adelson for an exclusive Republican gathering next week in Las Vegas. Bush, who is quietly exploring a run for the White House, will be the featured speaker at an exclusive VIP dinner on Thursday hosted by Adelson and his wife, Miriam, at his company’s private airplane hangar at Las Vegas Macarran International Airport, according to a draft itinerary obtained by The Washington Post.

The only Bushes I want to see from this point on are at the local nursery. I can´t take them or the Clintons at all any more and the metrosexual/lesbian, the lunch lady and the two surly angry black women-in-waiting need to go, too.

Jeb Bush couldn´t even deliver the state of Florida to his own brother in 2000 at the height of his alleged popularity. In 2012 he was supposed to be the charm that elected Connie Mack Senator in Florida. Mack lost in a landslide. The media are talking him up for one reason. Not because he can win, only because he can prevent the country from getting the person we need. Jeb Bush wants the same things the radical left wants. One of which is to flood the country with--as he calls them--risk takers--who are brave enough to enter the country illegally. Mr. Bush should read up on the desperate lives of people who try and break in here instead of being flip about them. He should make it his mission to expose the brutal cultures that continue to churn out misery and depravity.

Jeb Bush is also for Common Core, and you just know the Bushes´ kids, grand kids, nieces and nephews won´t be going to schools that embrace Common Core.

They do not want their family members to grow up to be automatons. They want their own family members to be able to think independently so they can rule over the worker bees.

Michelle Malkin had a really well-researched article recently about all the interconnected money interests that are part of Common Core.

Obviously, there is money to be made in turning future American generations into robots because, as usual, it´s "follow the money".

I believe that´s the intention, #6. It would seem the ladies have nothing better to do than to repeat the same Pavlovian put down on any story saying that Jeb Bush hasn´t ruled out running in 2016. It appears to interest them, if no one else.

What is interesting is how desperate they are to counter any suggestion that Bush is still undecided. Since this is what Jeb Bush is saying himself, they are de facto calling him a liar. Having been on the receiving end of their lectures on the political integrity of Jeb Bush, I find it intriguing that they would assert that Jeb is just jerking Republicans around for his own purposes by not clarifying his intentions.

It´s the kind of thing they said they hated when Palin did it.

Back in the day, Palin fans considered any comment that Palin isn´t going to run to be a hate attack. Now, it´s apparently also verboten among those same fans to say Jeb Bush is not going to run.

There´s no satisfying some people.

Psst: I don´t think he´s going to run. So shoot me.

American voters are angry with both the White House and Republican lawmakers for their bungled handling of the growing crisis on the border between the U.S. and Mexico, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll. The survey, which was conducted from July 9-13 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points, found that 58 percent of survey respondents disapprove of President Obama´s handling of the sudden surge of unaccompanied minors who have flooded the border. And of the self-identified Latino adults surveyed in the report, 54 percent say they are definitely unhappy with the White House´s

Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey will make his most significant and elaborate return to the presidential arena this week amid indications that, despite his tribulations, his political standing has stabilized and his advisers see a possible path to the Republican nomination in 2016. Mr. Christie’s three-city swing through Iowa, the first state to have a say on the presidential race, will represent a highly public resumption of his White House ambitions after six months of scandal. It was deliberately constructed to showcase what his advisers believe distinguishes him from the emerging Republican field: his personality and ability to interact spontaneously

What do we need to turn our country around? Well, for starters, we need a president who stops getting his energy policies from Hollywood movies — and Hollywood liberals. Consider President Obama’s dithering when it comes to approving the Keystone XL pipeline. First proposed in 2008, this massive infrastructure project would bring low-cost crude oil from fields in Canada southward to the United States. Despite nearly six years of government reviews — and nearly four dozen oil and gas pipelines already safely operating between the U.S. and Canada — the Obama administration and the State Department still have not approved the

On the other hand, the evil kings and judges brought famine and destruction upon the people and the land (does any of this sound familiar?) Dr. Ben Carson once made the observation that “political correctness” acts as a “muzzle” to quell legitimate dissent against the status quo. That is undoubtedly a true statement. But to drive in the stakes and build our intellectual ramparts on this point is little more than ceding coveted ground in an argument against a completely unfounded doctrine that presents falsehoods as facts. There is a more fundamental observation upon which we can mount our legitimate defense against the doctrine of “political correctness,” and it lies in the simplest inspection of the phrase “politically correct.” Inherent in those two words’ juxtaposition is
