Putin Knows He Has

RUSH: Ah, this is great. I don´t know what to do with it, but this is great. I am holding here in my formerly nicotine-stained fingers five printed pages of a Microsoft Word document that is supposedly a summary of the report circulating in the Kremlin today about what happened to the Malaysian airline flight. And the "sources" for this report that the Kremlin has are the ChiComs. So ChiCom sources have prepared an analysis of what happened to the jet, and this is what Putin has, is what I´m told. And, in a nutshell, the US captured the plane and

How to Fight Back Against
the GOP Establishment’s
Worst Treachery Yet
Townhall, by Steve Deace    Original Article

What transpired in the Mississippi Senate run-off is a red line for many conservatives across the country, because the Republican Party establishment essentially took a civil war and escalated it to a war for independence. It’s one thing to oppose your base in a primary. It’s entirely another to despicably play the race card against your base, and bolster the legitimacy of the propaganda of our race-baiting opponents on the Left. But that’s exactly what the Kamikaze pilots running the GOP did. As a result, Chris McDaniel won Republican voters handily on Tuesday, but still lost the run-off statewide thanks to

Mississippi state Sen. Chris McDaniel is projecting confidence about his campaign´s review of ballots cast in a runoff election he narrowly lost to incumbent Sen. Thad Cochran Tuesday ahead of a planned legal challenge to the election results. The campaign is focusing on any ballots cast by individuals who voted in the Democratic primary on June 3, who under Mississippi´s election rules, were not allowed to vote in the Republican primary runoff three weeks later. McDaniel claimed in an interview on Fox News late Thursday that his campaign had identified over 1,000 such votes in Hinds County, which includes a large African

RUSH: "Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg´s pro-amnesty FWD.us group is calling for a national ´Day of Action´ on Thursday to pressure House Republicans to pass amnesty legislation." Now, somebody needs to get a hold of Zuckerberg and tell him that it isn´t amnesty. His team is not to use that word. I am the only one permitted to use that word so that Chuck Schumer can go out and say that it isn´t amnesty. I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that it’s not the tactics themselves that bother them as much as the attention those tactics are receiving from conservative voters. Says Red State’s Leon Wolf, “If any of these bastards want to avoid the fallout they should go on the record.” According to these conversations [with two Republican Senate staffers], some $800,000 was raised for Cochran by his Senate colleagues after the McDaniel victory in the primary’s first round, largely under the rubric of the National Republican Senatorial Committee. This wasn’t seen as a particularly controversial matter at the time; the

BROOKS COUNTY – “I’ve had a 7-year-old little girl from El Salvador with her mother come to my front door just in dire need, lost, needing help,” says Linda Vickers, who owns a Ranch in Brooks County. “They wanted to get a ride to Houston; they didn’t want me to call border control. This ranchland is ruthless. It’s deep sand; it’s hot; it’s humid; it literally sucks the life out of a person.” Vickers says even though her ranch is about 60 miles north of the border, bands of illegal immigrants are still crossing onto her land by circumventing border patrol check

The Vickers ranch is one of the many land spreads affected by the surge in illegal immigration. What is more concerning to the ranch owners is the type of people trekking through their land. Linda Vickers never wanders away from her house without her trusty canine companions - Blitz, Elsa, Schotten and Tinkerbell. The dogs provide a sense of security in a land of insecurity. "The safety factor out here has changed," Vickers said. Vickers and her husband own and operate a nearly-1,000-acre ranch in

Despite Hillary Clinton’s disappointing book sales, and a gaffe-prone publicity tour, she remains the prohibitive favorite for the Democratic nomination. If anything, the last few weeks have only confirmed her advantage. Despite these disappointments and mis-steps, there is no substantial anti-Clinton movement building in the party. All we hear are crickets. This is very peculiar, when we think about the role that the Clintons have long occupied in the Democratic party. They have long had a troubled relationship with the left wing. Bill Clinton left it on the outside looking in after the Republican wave election of 1994. He dealt with

The site features a series of cartoon videos as well as “callout cards,” which teens can send to their “textual harassers,” or people who send intrusive text messages. If you believe BuzzFeed, though, it wasn’t the U.S. government that was considering a ransom, it was Bergdahl’s father. And it’s unclear if it was a pipe dream or something he might have actually pulled off. Robert Bergdahl, the soldier’s father, did not return calls for comment. WASHINGTON – The White House says the United States will no longer produce or acquire anti-personnel land mines and plans to join an international treaty banning their use. The National Security Council says the U.S. is "diligently pursuing solutions" to join the Ottawa Convention that bans the use, stockpiling, production and transfer of the mines. The council says the announcement was made Friday at a conference in Mozambique to review the treaty. The White House statement does not indicate when the U.S. will join the treaty or specify the size of the U.S. stockpile.

A charter plane believed to be carrying immigrants arrived this evening at San Diego’s Lindbergh Field, apparently from Texas. Three Homeland Security buses arrived a few minutes later, trailed by numerous law enforcement vehicles. There is no information as to the buses´ destination. Earlier this week, federal officials said that 140 immigrants who had been detained crossing the border in Texas would arrive Friday. But since the blockade by protesters Tuesday at Murrieta, officials have declined to provide information about the movement of the immigrants.

Our president vacations a lot — we’re talking $44,351,777.12 worth of “a lot,” with most expenses charged to the American taxpayer. As of March 2014, Obama has spent more time traveling internationally than any other president, taking 31 trips since assuming office in 2009. The 119 days spent overseas have
