Washington Post Falls for Left-Wing

Today’s Washington Post features an article by Steven Mufson and Juliet Eilperin headlined, “The biggest lease holder in Canada’s oil sands isn’t Exxon Mobil or Chevron. It’s the Koch brothers.” The article was based on a newly-issued two-page report by the far-left International Forum on Globalization. The Post reported: You might expect the biggest lease owner in Canada’s oil sands, or tar sands, to be one of the international oil giants, like Exxon Mobil or Royal Dutch Shell. But that isn’t the case. The biggest lease holder in the northern Alberta oil sands is a subsidiary of Koch Industries, the privately-owned

Moreover this morning´s Times has a shameless hit piece on how the Kochs want to "fundamentally change" the way Americans think about government, namely that big government is bad government.
Let me see...who was it who said That government is best tha governs least?

The WaPo follows CBS´s example of all the lies fit to print. Koch should sue the WaPo out of existence.

As for the pipeline, libtard Warren Buffet who funds Barry and the DNC has a total lock on transportation via his uninspected rail line and rail cars (ergo the big train spill). Barraco Barner won´t approve the XL pipeline until Buffet decides he´s made another couple of billion that he can transfer to the DNC.

Speaking or writing false information which damages another person´s reputation is a crime. Is not publishing false information with the intent to influence elections an even greater crime ?

Is there no law here ?

"Freedom of the Press" is not freedom to steal elections.

How much more criminality can our electoral system withstand ?

FTA "Why would the Washington Post embarrass itself by republishing a thoroughly discredited attempt to link the Koch brothers to the Keystone Pipeline? Because that is a Democratic Party talking point, and the Post is a Democratic Party newspaper. But the truth is a little worse than that.Who is Post reporter Juliet Eilperin? Among other things, she is married to Andrew Light, who writes on climate policy for the Center for American Progress. The Center for American Progress is an Obama administration front group headed by John Podesta, who is a “special advisor” to the Obama administration."

How I loathe the msm. They are all Democrats who believe all this man made global warming nonsense, are all environmental wackos, haters of Republicans, capitalism, 2nd Amendment, lovers of Marxism, Socialism, Euroweanies, fairness, hate crime law, anything that destroys the country, the list is endless. They all have spouses that work in the White House, Federal Government, or some far left non profit organization! How I wish they would all go bankrupt!!

The left milked Bush for all he was worth so they had to manufacture a new boogeyman for their base to hate. This thing with the Koch Bros. and the XL pipeline has been around at least a couple years. That´s the only reason the pipeline hasn´t been approved. When these people see the Koch running ads it makes them head straight to the Golden State Bridge. There´s so may jumpers they have to put nets up.
We were all told this country would be a paradise if Obama was elected. The only people enjoying paradise right now are Obama´s crony contractors.

The democrats may be desperate but they are still effectively controlling the message. The zeal for the implementation of their agenda goes unabated. They will not relent. They will not stop spewing lies because they know if they tell a lie frequently enough, it will be believed as truth. The confidence they have in this behavior is unthinkable to those who understand the concept of truth. However, they lie because it is a means to an end and that is everything to them. Those they can´t convince by their lies, they ridicule into submission. Ultimately, they are bullies. Either we confront them with the truth or submit to their lies.

I will always value any person or research that demonstrates how mendacious and lazy the MSM are.

But I admit that incidents like this make me sad. Sad because similar tactics went on for decades with no brake, no check, no opposition save the odd National Review piece or a letter to the editor that few people read and even fewer comprehended.

How is Obama´s approval at 38% and Obamacare at 41%? Those ratings are the product of a lifetime of propaganda printed and broadcasted and absorbed by those unequipped to challenge it intellectually. To make matters worse, many get their misinformation second- or third-hand, and like a birthday party game of telephone by the time they hear the ´facts´ about global warming, the Koch brothers, 9/11, etc. it´s a hopeless mishmash.

They simply take verbatim what left-wing propaganda fits their agenda and run with it. The guy at the Post who hands out the Pinocchios should be doling them out before the stories hit the street, not after. He might save his dying paper if he did.

I agree that the headline to this piece is far too mild. This is not an embarrassing mistake. This is, to borrow a phrase, a vast left wing conspiracy to deceive the public, demonize any opponent, and support BO and liberals at all costs.

The dinosaur media bleats that web reporting is not to be trusted because it cannot reach the level of credibility of their reporting. This, and many examples before it, show that the MSM is not trustworthy, lies, has a liberal agenda, exhibits extremely poor journalistic skills, and badly abuses the public trust placed in news organizations. The WaaPoo is a poor excuse for a news organization.

This whole coordinated attack on the Koch brothers by the media and the Democrats is nothing more than a "get out the vote" drive for the elections this November.

The Democrats know that they are in for a shellacking, and they are trying to bump up turnout among their base of liberal moonbats in order to limit the damage.

The average American doesn´t know or care who the Koch brothers are, but the far left is obsessed with them. It´s those folks that the Democrats are trying to stir up with this smear campaign.

The reluctance of Hamas’s “military wing”—a misnomer for the more extreme elements of its extremist leadership—to accept the cease-fire designed by Egypt is, well, logical. Let’s admit it. They do not wish to accept defeat, and the Egyptian terms are a defeat for Hamas. By attacking Israel, what has Hamas wrought? Considerable damage was done to Gaza by Israeli air power, and Gazans will be picking up the pieces for months if not longer. But Hamas proved unable to kill one single Israeli with its hundreds of rockets, and all its special tricks—tunnels, longer-range rockets, a drone—also failed. Nor could

House Republicans are moving quickly to address the growing humanitarian crisis on the southern border, possibly holding votes as soon as next week. As Congress moves closer to the monthlong August recess, the speedy action sends a clear message to Senate Democrats: Take it or leave it. Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), incoming Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and a group of top lawmakers working on the border crisis are set to file a bill that very closely mirrors the legislation crafted by Texas lawmakers Sen. John Cornyn, a Republican, and Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar.

Two of the larger social trends of our time — the growth of payday gambling and the legalization of marijuana — have two things in common: They are justified as the expansion of personal liberty, and they serve the interests of an expanding government. The ideological alliance behind these changes is among the strangest in U.S. politics. Libertarians seek to lift governmental restraints on consensual acts. State governments seek sources of revenue without the political inconvenience of requesting broad tax increases.
