The Army´s new grooming and uniform regulations, set to be released in coming days, have leaked online and the news isn´t good for soldiers wanting to sport some extra body art. The rules, approved March 6 by Army Secretary John McHugh, replace about 50 existing regulations and cover topics such as tattoos, fingernail polish and hair. The regulations haven´t been officially released yet but a 57-page PowerPoint document was posted on the Facebook page "U.S. Army W.T.F. Moments" on Wednesday, reports Army Times. The document, titled "Uniform Policy Leaders Training," contains information on the changes, which include: Sideburns on male soldiers will not

Once a young gal who answered the phone at our law firm had her daughter´s name tattooed across her foot. Cost $100+. I see people with the sleeves and other large tats and wonder just how many $$ they spent on them and also wonder if they´re living on mailbox money (from Uncle Sugar) since not so many people are working any more.

Too many tattoo´s are a bad thing, right?

However Homosexuals cross dressing and putting on a "show" is a good thing?

Most of those regulations have not changed in years until, of course, you get to the tattoo stuff. That one about not applying for a commission if a soldier has visible tattoos seems a bit tough.

I am always amazed at the ugly stuff people put on themselves in the name of art...their home decorating skills probably closely resemble their body art.

Any human social organization must have some prohibited behavior/class exclusion etc. Since they can not prohibit/beat up on the LGBT´s, they got to beat up on somebody else.

Dave Brat, a local economics professor, toppled House Majority Leader Eric Cantor on Tuesday night in the most shocking primary defeat since Republicans took the House in 2010. The conservative challenger’s victory halts one of the most meteoric rises in national politics, and illustrates the strong anti-incumbent fever that has taken over Cantor’s Richmond-area district. Cantor is the second House incumbent to lose this primary season — Texas GOP incumbent Ralph Hall was defeated by a tea-party backed challenger at the end of May. Cantor’s defeat not only reorders Virginia politics, where Cantor was the highest-ranking

The fate of amnesty legislation this year may depend on House Majority Leader Eric Cantor´s (R-VA) margin of victory Tuesday in a primary campaign that has surprisingly emerged as a high-profile immigration battle. While a trio of House Republicans – Reps. Mick Mulvaney (R-SC), Paul Ryan (R-WI), and Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) – are canvassing the GOP conference on whether there is appetite to tackle immigration before the August recess, Cantor has had to fend off a long-shot, underfunded economics professor who rose in the polls by relentlessly attacking Cantor on the issue. Last week, the Indiana state legislature passed further reductions in corporate business tax rates that, within eight years, will establish the Hoosier State as having the lowest business tax rate in the country. Indiana Governor Mike Pence has said that he plans to sign it into law. The bill will lower the corporate income tax rate each year through 2022, when the 4.9% rate will become the lowest corporate rate in the U.S. It also provides three options for local governments to lower the business personal property tax. This is good news for Indiana, which is rapidly becoming a pro-growth

CHICAGO- With a hunger to reclaim the governor´s office, Republican voters set out Tuesday to shake up Illinois´ Democratic-dominated political order, energized by candidates´ talk of taking on unions, unseating "career politicians" and righting the state´s troubled finances. The talk at polling stations from the Chicago suburbs in the north to the St. Louis suburbs in the southwest was of reversing the state´s indebtedness and keeping businesses and jobs from leaving Illinois. Describing their desire for change, people used phrases like "break the system." To many, the governor´s race was shaping up as a potentially transformative battle over union influence, with some voters

On a single day this week in Denver, President Obama scarfed down pizza and drinks with strangers, shot pool with Colorado’s governor and shook hands with a guy on the street wearing a horse mask. His top staffers are promoting these stops on Twitter with the hashtag #TheBearIsLoose — a term one of Obama’s aides coined in 2008 when the candidate would defy his schedule. Glenn Beck has set up Mercury One Children and Family Border Relief Fund to help illegals coming into the United States. He’s already raised $600,000. Beck stated that Obama would not have to step in and ask for $3.7 billion if private charities would pick up the slack and give to the swarm of illegals crossing the border. Is he kidding? Do we really need more churches and non-profits enabling this blatant attack on America? Rich people and liberal elite billionaires have no skin in the game when it comes to the consequences of illegal immigration so what do they care? It’s the working class and middle class who will take the hit.

The facts are simple. The IRS systematically targeted conservative and Tea Party groups after their activism proved decisive in the 2010 midterm elections—Obama’s famous “shellacking.” The effects of this targeting were widespread. Some Tea Party groups were neutered in the months before the 2012 presidential election. Few of the explanations or justifications of this targeting provided by IRS leaders and Obama administration officials have held up. IRS officials at first denied that any targeting had taken place. That was false. They later claimed that the targeting had involved only low-level employees in the Cincinnati office. That was false. They argued
